Fussballenpolster.
Es ist bekannt, für Ballenfussleidende Fussballenpolster zu verwenden, welche aus zwei vor und hinter dem Ballen liegenden elastischen Polstern bestehen, die zu einem Stück vereinigt sind. Der Nachteil dieser Fussballenpolster besteht darin, dass die Grosszehe durch das vor dem Ballen liegende Kissen noch mehr seitwärts gedrückt wird, als dies beim Ballfussleidenden von vornherein durch den Seitendruck des Schuhes der Fall ist.
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Fussballenpolster, welches diesen Übelstand einfach dadurch beseitigt, dass auf die Grosszehe kein schädlicher Seitendrnck ausgeübt und der schmerzhafte Ballen trotzdem vom letzteren vollkommen befreit wird.
In der Zeichnung sind zwei Ausführungsbeispiele von solchen Polstern dargestellt, u. zw. in den Fig. 1 und 3 in der Gebrauchsstellung am Fuss und in den Fig. 2 und 4 allein in Seitenansicht.
Gemäss dem Beispiel nach Fig. 1 und 2 ist mit a das Fussballenpolster bezeichnet, welches aus einem Kissen aus geeignetem Material, wie Leder, Gummi, Schwamm oder elastischem Stoff besteht.
Die Grösse des Kissens richtet sich nach der Fuss-oder Ballengrösse des betreffenden Ballenfusskranken. Das Kissen a ist an der dem Ballen zugekehrten Schmalseite a1 konkav ausgehöhlt, damit es möglichst nahe am Ballen angesetzt werden kann. Das Kissen a ist mit einer Anhängevorrichtung versehen, die

B. könnte das Kissen am inneren Schuhleder befestigt werden und zu diesem Zweck mit einem sich jedoch nicht auf die Ballenseite erstreckenden Rand versehen sein, mit dessen Hilfe das Kissen angenäht oder angeklebt werden könnte. Das Kissen kann sowohl für den rechten, als auch für den linken Fuss gleich vorteilhaft verwendet werden und eine beliebige runde oder eckige Form besitzen.
Die Wirkungsweise des Kissens ist folgende :
Beim Überziehen des Schuhes wird das Kissen a zusammengedrückt und der F ass oder der kranke Ballen seitlich verschoben, so dass der letztere das Schuhleder c nicht mehr berühren und an diesem sich nicht scheuern kann. Auf diese Weise ist der kranke Ballen vollständig vom Druck entlastet, da der Druck von dem Kissen aufgenommen wird.
Das in Fig. 3 und 4 dargestellte Beispiel unterscheidet sich von dem vorbeschriebenen nur dadurch, dass am freien Ende der Anhängeschleife b ein Gegenpolster d befestigt ist, welches zwischen die Grosszehe

Es sei erwähnt, dass die beiden Polster auch am Ballen der Kleinzehe angelegt werden können, an welcher eine Ballenbildung ebenfalls häufig auftritt.
