UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA PREPARACION DE UNA POLIDEXTROSA MUY RAMIFICADA, SOLUBLE EN AGUA, DONDE PREDOMINA EL ENLACE 1-- 6, Y CONTENIENDO MENOS DE 0,1 MOLES POR CIENTO DE ACIDO CITRICO LIBRE Y ALREDEDOR DE 0,01 A 0,3 MOLES POR CIENTO DE ACIDO CITRICO COMBINADO EN FORMA DE GRUPOS ESTER, CUYO PROCEDIMIENTO COMPRENDE LAS SIGUIENTES ETAPAS: (A) FUNDIR DEXTROSA CONTENIENDO ALREDEDOR DE 0,5 A 3 MOLES POR CIENTO DE ACIDO CITRICO A UNA TEMPERATURA INFERIOR A SU PUNTO DE DESCOMPOSICION, MANTENER DICHA MEZCLA FUNDIDA Y A PRESION REDUCIDA, PRACTICAMENTE EN AUSENCIA DE AGUA, HASTA QUE SE PRODUCE UNA POLIMERIZACION SUSTANCIAL Y SIMULTANEAMENTE SEPARAR EL AGUA FORMADA DURANTE DICHA POLIMERIZACION Y (B) PASAR UNA SOLUCION ACUOSA CONCENTRADA DEL PRODUCTO RESULTANTE A TRAVES DE UNA RESINA ADSORBENTE O DE UNA RESINA CAMBIADORA DE ION DEBILMENTE BASICA Y RECUPERAR LA CITADA POLIGLUCOSA SUSTANCIALMENTE LIBRE DE AGUA.
