Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a la modificación de la biosíntesis de fructanos en vegetales, y más particularmente, a métodos para manipular la biosíntesis de los fructanos en las células fotosintéticas, y a ácidos nucleicos y constructos relacionados. La presente invención se refiere también al aumento de la biomasa de la planta y, más particularmente, a métodos para aumentar el rendimiento de la biomasa y/o la estabilidad del rendimiento, con inclusión del crecimiento de los brotes y/o las raíces en un vegetal, y a los ácidos nucleicos y constructos relacionados. La presente invención se refiere también a métodos para aumentar la productividad de los senderos bioquímicos, y más particularmente, a las proteínas de fusión en los vegetales, y a los ácidos nucleicos y constructos relacionados.
