Abstract
La divulgación proporciona moléculas de polinucleótidos que codifican defensinas novedosas que confieren tolerancia a plagas y/o actividad pesticida incrementadas cuando son expresadas en una planta y los constructos y vectores de ADN recombinante que comprenden estas moléculas. Asimismo, se proporcionan composiciones que comprenden una o varias defensinas novedosas de la divulgación, que tienen actividad pesticida y/o antimicrobiana, así como métodos para su utilización.
