Abstract

En la presente revelación se describen composiciones y métodos que involucran una reacción de adición de Michael catalizada con base latente. Las composiciones que se describen en la presente revelación son derivadas de una reacción de adición de Michael y proporcionan recubrimientos, que incluyen recubrimientos de imprimación y recubrimientos directos a metal, que tienen óptima adhesión, resistencia a la corrosión y respuesta de fraguado cuando son aplicadas a un sustrato y curadas. Reivindicación 1: Una composición de recubrimiento, que comprende: una composición de resina, por lo menos una porción de la cual incluye una estructura principal de epoxi, la composición de resina comprende: por lo menos un aceptor de adición de Michael; y por lo menos un donante de adición de Michael un catalizador latente, en donde el aceptor de AM, el donante de AM, o una combinación del aceptor de AM y el donante de AM proporcionan la estructura principal de epoxi de la composición de resina, y en donde la composición de recubrimiento es capaz de fraguar en aproximadamente 1 a 10 minutos a ~65,5ºC (150ºF), y en donde un recubrimiento curado que se forma a partir de la composición de recubrimiento es resistente a la corrosión.
