Abstract
Un terminal inalámbrico soporta comunicación inalámbrica con una red de comunicación inalámbrica. El terminal inalámbrico puede configurarse para operar en un modo conectado durante el cual el terminal inalámbrico transmite datos de enlace ascendente a la red de comunicación inalámbrica y/o recibe datos de enlace descendente de la red de comunicación inalámbrica, en un modo inactivo durante el cual el terminal inalámbrico mantiene un contexto de estrato de acceso y una identidad de reanudación, y en un modo de reposo durante el cual el terminal inalámbrico no mantiene un contexto de estrato de acceso. El terminal inalámbrico puede almacenar (1001) información del historial de la movilidad para una celda visitada por el terminal inalámbrico, y la información para la celda puede incluir un tiempo de permanencia en el modo inactivo en la celda. El terminal inalámbrico también puede transmitir (1007) la información del historial de la movilidad para la celda visitada por el terminal inalámbrico a una estación base de la red de comunicación inalámbrica.
