Abstract
Se describe un método para preparar 4-amino-3-cloro-5-fluoro-6-(4-cloro-2-fluoro-3-metoxifenil)picolinato de bencilo (1) a partir de 4,5-difluoro-6-(4-cloro-2-fluoro-3-metoxifenil)picolinato de bencilo (2). El método incluye el uso de etapas de proceso de aminación y cloración para proporcionar el compuesto (1). Reivindicación 1: Un método para preparar el compuesto de fórmula (1) que comprende las etapas de: a) combinar un compuesto de fórmula (2) y amoníaco anhidro; b) aislar un compuesto de fórmula (3) de la combinación de la etapa a); c) combinar el compuesto aislado de fórmula (3) de la etapa b) con HCl anhidro para formar una sal de HCl de fórmula (4); d) aislar el compuesto de fórmula (4) de la etapa c) y combinar el compuesto aislado de fórmula (4) con una base para reformar el compuesto de fórmula (3); e) agregar un agente clorante a la combinación de la etapa d); y f) aislar el compuesto de fórmula (1).
