Abstract
Composiciones y métodos para utilizar TALEN (nucleasas fusionadas a efectores TAL - efectores similares a activadores de la trascripción) en la obtención de células modificadas genéticamente, que son células de ganado o de otros animales. Algunas de las formas de realización de la solicitud proveen la obtención de una célula que está libre de cualquier modificación genética no planificada. Otras formas de realización están dirigidas a herramientas o procesos particulares, tales como TALEN con un truncamiento preferido. Reivindicación 1: Un método para elaborar una célula o embrión animal no humano genéticamente modificado, caracterizado porque comprende exponer embriones o células del animal in vitro a un ARNm que codifica para una TALEN, en donde la TALEN se une específicamente a un sitio cromosómico blanco en los embriones o células, en donde las células o embriones se modifican genéticamente solo en el sitio cromosómico blanco y en donde el método se lleva a cabo sin un gen reportero.
