Abstract
Se describen polipéptidos pesticidas modificados (Vip), que son muy activos contra una amplia gama de plagas y métodos para obtener dichos polipéptidos. Las secuencias de nucleótidos que codifican el polipéptido pesticida se pueden emplear para transformar varios organismos procariotas y eucariotas, los cuales se pueden emplear para producir los polipéptidos pesticidas. Los organismos recombinantes y/o los polipéptidos producidos por los organismos recombinantes se pueden emplear para controlar plagas en varios entornos.
