Abstract

El proceso para la hidrolisis de biomasa lignocelulosica comprende los siguientes pasos: A) poner en contacto una carga de alimentacion lignocelulosica -dicha carga de alimentacion compuesta por biomasa que tiene contenido de materia seca y agua - con al menos una porcion de un solvente, que está compuesto por especies hidrolizadas solubles en agua; en donde al menos parte de las especies hidrolizadas solubles en agua son las mismas que las especies hidrolizadas solubles en agua que se obtienen a partir de la hidrolisis de la biomasa en la carga de alimentacion; B) mantener el contacto entre la carga de alimentacion de la corriente de carga de alimentacion y el solvente a una temperatura en el rango que oscila entre 20sC y 200°C durante un período en el rango que fluctua entre 5 minutos y 72 horas, para crear un producto hidrolizado a partir de la biomasa en la carga de alimentacion.
