Abstract
Un reactor químico isotérmico (1) que comprende un arreglo de elementos de intercambio de calor tipo placa dispuestos radialmente (11) dentro de un espacio de reaccion, comprendiendo cada elemento conductos de alimentacion y recoleccion y un haz de tubos paralelos (15) que definen canales (12) para un medio de intercambio de calor, teniendo los tubos (15) una seccion transversal elongada y estando dispuestos con una orientacion variable en relacion a la direccion radial del reactor, de modo que los tubos internos cerca del eje del reactor tienen el eje mayor de la seccion transversal alineado con dicha direccion radial, y los tubos externos tienen el mismo eje perpendicular a la direccion radial. También se divulga la estructura preferida de un elemento de intercambio de calor tipo placa.
