Abstract
Se describe un proceso para remover azufre de una corriente de gas que también contiene dioxido de carbono y olefina liviana, así como un compuesto de azufre orgánico. El proceso Incluye hidrotratar la corriente de gas combustible seguida de lareduccion catalítica del gas combustible hidrotratado resultante, para remover el sulfuro de carbonilo allí incluido que se produce en la etapa de hidrotratamiento como resultado de la reaccion de equilibrio del disulfuro de hidrogeno con dioxido decarbono para obtenerse sulfuro de carbonilo y agua.
