Abstract

Un material que se hincha en agua que comprende una matriz polimérica esencialmente reticulada y partículas solidas inorgánicas unidas a la misma y presenta un comportamiento de aumento de volumen dependiente del tiempo que corresponde a la captacion de agua de al menos 7,5 veces el peso inherente del material híbrido en el lapso de una hora, así como las aplicaciones del mismo. La presente se relaciona además con un método de elaboracion de dicho material híbrido que se hincha en agua.
