Abstract

Método para envolver productos que tienen una dimensión mayor y una dimensión menor tales como las pastillas de jabón las cuales son embaladas en una única hoja de material que puede ser plástico, papel, cartón o combinaciones de dichos materiales en forma de laminados. Las pastillas de jabón son embaladas en máquinas de alta velocidad a razón de más de 50 por minuto. La hoja individual de amterial es cortada a troquel de manera de formar una seción principal con paneles superiores, inferiores y laterales longitudinales y aletas extremas adjuntas a cada panel. A efectos de promover el plegado en los puntos deseados la hoja de material es debilitada mediante acanalado, perforaciones o formación de hendiduras en los puntos de plegado. Este debilitamiento puede ser hecho justo antes de la introducción en la máquina de envolver o en el momento del cortado a troquel. El cortado puede ser hecho en el momento de la introducción en la máquina de envolver. La pastilla de jabón embalada tendrá superficies extremas planas de manera tal que el embalaje puede permanecer erguido en sus extremos, puede tener venteos esquineros a efectos de permitir el escape de alguna humedad y de alguna fragancia en el punto de venta.
