Abstract

Implante dental, está constituido por un cuerpo cilíndrico alargado de titanio, destinado a ser implantado en un maxilar y provisto en su extremo externo de un tramo troncocónico coaxial (3), en cuya base mayor externa está dispuesta una protuberancia (5) prismática recta poligonal, cuyas caras laterales (8) están adaptadas para ser acopladas a elementos mecánicos externos a modo de llave. La superficie exterior de la protuberancia prismática (5) está dotada de una extensión tubular (6) hacia fuera, coaxial del cuerpo principal, provista de un orificio central (10) que permite el paso por roscado del tornillo de fijación y cuya superficie exterior (8) está dotada de un fileteado adaptado para recibir el fileteado de una rosca interna practicada en la base de un casquillo preprotésico, provisto de un orificio pasante que permite el paso del tornillo de fijación de la prótesis al implante.
