Abstract
Un método para realizar un laminado durable, el plato de prensa para producir un laminado decorativo de un papel impregnado en resina, con partículas dealumina en su superficie de prensa, es cubierto con diborido seleccionado de un grupo consistentede diborido de hafnio, diborido de molibdeno, diborido detantalco, diborido de titanio, diborido de tungsteno, diborido de vanadio, diborido de zirconio, o la mezcla de los mismos para realizar el plato de prensaresistente al rayado. Los diboridospr eferidos son titanio o zirconio. El diborido más preferido es titanio. El color, brillo y apariencia de superficiedel laminado prensado con un plato de prensa recubierto con diborido de titanio es sustancialmente el mismo que el laminado prensadocon los platos de prensaprevio a su recubierto.
