Abstract
La presente se refiere a un aparato para el proceso de prehidrolisis de biomasa, particularmente un reactor denominado del tipo Falla Segura, movil o no, yque puede fabricarse en acero carbono microligado y revestido con metales especiales (metalesr efractarios, aleaciones, inoxidables, plásticos, etc.). Lainsercion de vacío entre la envoltura exterior del reactor y su revestimiento evita su implosion y permite la deteccion de escapes con el gas helio. Laresistencia a la corrosion de losmetales refractarios permite la ejecucion de prehidrolisis y de digestion mineral. En el proceso de la presente invencion labiomasa se compacta a 300kg/m3 mediante un alimentador helicoidal, se desgasifica, se inunda, se calienta, se agita, seprehidroliza, el azucar se recuperaen un primer lavado dentro del reactor con valores superiores al 90%. La baja relacion líquido/solido=2 permite alcanzar contenidos de azucar de 10Bricks en elprehidrolizado y consumo de energía del 6% de energíacontenida en la biomasa procesada. El prehidrolizado se constituye por soluciones de xilosa y otros y sedestina a la produccion de furfural, alcohol y xilitol. El control de proceso permite producir una celulignina con alta superficie específica,2m2/g (medidospor BET) comparado con el valor de 0,4 m2/g de biomasa no hidrolizada, mantener la cristalinidad de las fibras de celulosa tornando viable su molienda apartículas finas (fmenor250mmm.), globulizando la lignina exponiendo la celulosa aataques de microorg anismos oriundos del estomago de animales rumiantes,hongos, bacterias, o enzimas en fermentacion microbiologica o enzimática. La combustion catalítica debido a la grande superficie específica resulta en un nuevocombustible paracalderas, combustores en general y MHD cuando se produce con agua filtrada y para turbina a gas cuando se produce con agua desionizada.
