Los extremos del cable delimitador (6) están unidos auna primera palanca giratoria de desbloqueo(8) adosada a la cabina de ascensor (1), que en caso de emergencia acciona un dispositivo de retencion (9) adherido a la cabina de ascensor. La saliente(11), la base de resorte (12) y el resorte compensador(13 ) conforman un encastre elástico de cable que soporta diferentes alargamientos de cable entreel cable portante (3) y el cable delimitador (6). Un mecanismo de bloqueo (14) del limitador de velocidad (6) acciona un freno de cable (15) en casodeexceso de velocidad de la cabina de ascensor (1) en sentido ascendente. En caso de exceso de velocidad de la cabina de ascensor (1), al deslizarse ésta ensentido ascendente, el mecanismo de desbloqueo (14) acciona el freno de cable (15), mientrasque en ca so de exceso de velocidad en sentidodescendente, se bloquea la velocidad (5). El freno de cable (15) como mínimo debe equilibrar las fuerzas descompensadas en la polea motriz (2), a finde evitar una progresiva aceleracion de la cabina deascensor en sentido ascendente. The braking force to be applied by the cable brake (15) must be at least equal to the maximum cable force difference in the drive pulley (2).
