Abstract

La excitacioninvestigativa se hace por aplicacion de energía acustica al elemento en cuestion, para inducir la accion de las ondas de flexion, acusticamente pertinentes,con un dispositivo transductor de ondas de flexion asociable selectivamente en su funcionamiento en posiciones sobre la superficie del elemento, para respondera la accion de las ondas de flexion, y siendo el efecto o efectos mensurables de senales procedentes del dispositivo transductor, o por medio de un dispositivotransductor de ondas de flexion asociable selectivamente en su funcionamiento en posiciones sobre la superficie del elemento en cuestion para inducir lareferida accion de las ondas de flexion, acusticamente pertinentes.Method for determining the location or advantageous sites for positioning a flexural wave transducer device in operative association with an element or elements, based on, for acoustic operation, resonant modes of flexion wave action on said element or elements. it comprises the investigative excitation of the acoustically relevant bending wave action in the referred element, and the systematic evaluation of the effect or measurable effects related to the referred action of the excited bending waves and corresponding to the aforementioned acoustic action, whose effects vary with according to the position of the flexion wave transducer on the surface of the element in question.
