Abstract

El método tiene tres etapas: a) carga continua con arrabio fundido en un régimen controlado sin interrupcion del calentamiento por el arco eléctrico,b) inyeccion de un gas refinador en el horno antes de la concentra cion de carbono y/osili co en el bano metálicohaya llegado a un valor límitepredeterminado, tenindo lugar la inyeccion continua hasta el final de la carga, y c) continuacion del gas refinador después de la carga con la cantidadplaneada de arrabio hastallegar al valor objetivo de la concentra cion de carbono y/o silicio en el bano o colada metálica.
