Abstract

1. Fibre rope having textile fibres or yarns fastened to one another, caracterised in that the rope has at least in one of the transverse directions a width of at least 4 mm, and that the fibrous material contained in the fibre rope is actively needle bonded transverse to the longitudinal direction of the fibre rope.
