Abstract
1. A heavy-current plasmatron nozzle consisting of a single interchangeable insert (1) in the general form of a wearing element disposed centrally with respect to the cathode (4), a cooling jacket being provided for the nozzle, characterized in that the insert (1) is secured directly int he nozzle body by means of a solder (2) and the nozzle cooling is so adapted that the solder does not melt while the burner is in operation.
