Definitions
- the invention relates to a composite pane, a method for its production and its use and a glazing arrangement.
- Illuminated composite panes are known as such.
- Composite panes consist of an outer pane and an inner pane that are connected to one another via a thermoplastic intermediate layer.
- a light source typically a light-emitting diode
- the light can be coupled out of the inner pane again using light-scattering structures, thereby realizing the illumination.
- the shape of the light-scattering structures can be freely selected, so that illuminated surfaces of any shape, for example as a pattern, can be created.
- Illuminated composite panes of this type are known, for example, from W02014/060409A1 or WO2014/167291 A1.
- such illuminated composite panes are particularly interesting as roof panes through which the interior can be illuminated.
- such illuminated composite panes can also be used for other vehicle panes or panes in the building and architectural sector.
- the illuminated surfaces formed by the light-scattering structures can also be used to display information, for example to display direction arrows, status displays, warnings or similar.
- DE 10 2012 109 900 B4 discloses a vehicle glazing comprising a pane, a light-conducting layer which is designed to conduct light coupled in at one of its end faces, which is materially connected to the pane, and which has outcoupling means via which light exit of guided light is caused at at least one of its main surfaces, a refraction layer which is arranged between the pane and the light-conducting layer, which has a lower refractive index than the light-conducting layer, and which is simultaneously designed as a lamination layer, and a light source which is designed in such a way is arranged such that light is coupled into at least one end face of the light-conducting layer.
- EP 3 702 217 A1 discloses a transparent roof assembly for a vehicle roof comprising a pane with a transparent region, a light source arranged to provide light into the pane, and an outcoupling pattern arranged on the surface of the transparent region of the pane.
- the outcoupling pattern comprises points made of a light-deflecting material for outcoupling light introduced into the pane and propagating in the pane, wherein the points each have a representative diameter of 150 micrometers or less, preferably 80 micrometers or less, and wherein a total point surface of the points of the outcoupling pattern is less than 10% of a total surface of the transparent region.
- the present invention is based on the object of providing an improved illuminated composite pane.
- the composite pane according to the invention comprises an outer pane and an inner pane which are connected to one another via a thermoplastic intermediate layer.
- the composite pane is intended to separate the interior (in particular the vehicle interior) from the external environment in a window opening (for example the window opening of a vehicle).
- the inner pane refers to the pane of the composite pane which faces the interior in the installed position.
- the outer pane refers to the pane which faces the external environment.
- the composite pane is preferably a vehicle pane, for example a window pane of a motor vehicle, rail vehicle, ship or aircraft.
- the composite pane is particularly preferably the roof pane of a vehicle, preferably a motor vehicle, in particular a passenger car or truck.
- it can also be another vehicle pane, for example the windshield, rear window or side window.
- it can also be used in buildings, for example as a window pane, glass facade or glass door in the outdoor or indoor area, or in furniture or other furnishings.
- the outer pane, the inner pane and the thermoplastic intermediate layer each have an outer surface and an inner surface and a circumferential side edge surface running between them.
- the outer surface refers to the main surface which is intended to face the outside environment in the installed position.
- the inner surface refers to the main surface which is intended to face the interior in the installed position.
- the inner surface of the outer pane and the outer surface of the inner pane face each other and the thermoplastic intermediate layer and are connected to one another by the thermoplastic intermediate layer.
- the inner surface of the outer pane is adjacent to the outer surface of the thermoplastic intermediate layer and the outer surface of the inner pane is adjacent to the inner surface of the thermoplastic intermediate layer.
- the outside surface of the outer pane is referred to as side I.
- the inside surface of the outer pane is referred to as side II.
- the outside surface of the inner pane is referred to as side III.
- the inside surface of the inner pane is referred to as side IV.
- the outside surface of the thermoplastic intermediate layer is referred to as side V.
- the inside surface of the thermoplastic intermediate layer is referred to as side VI.
- the inner pane has a recess.
- This recess in the inner pane is preferably a hole, i.e. a passage, which extends between the outer and inner surfaces of the inner pane.
- the recess can alternatively be a recess in the form of a blind hole (blind-like recess) which extends from the outer surface or the inner surface into the inner pane, but without reaching the opposite main surface, which would result in a passage.
- the blind hole preferably extends from the inner surface into the inner pane, because this is still accessible after the laminated pane has been laminated. The light source can then be inserted later and easily replaced in the event of a defect.
- the recess can be made, for example, by mechanical drilling or laser processing in the inner pane.
- the recess is preferably round, but can in principle have any shape, for example a polygonal shape. This means the base area of the recess in the plane of the at least one surface of the inner pane, via which the recess is made in the inner pane.
- the recess has the overall shape of a cylinder, preferably a vertical cylinder.
- the cylinder is preferably a circular cylinder (circular base area), but can also have any other base areas, for example an elliptical base area (elliptical cylinder) or a polygonal base area (prism).
- the recess is limited by a peripheral edge surface which extends between the main surfaces of the inner pane. In the case of a feedthrough, this is the only boundary surface of the recess. In the case of a pocket-like depression, there is a further boundary surface which faces the main surface of the inner pane to which the depression does not extend and which forms the bottom of the pocket hole.
- the light source is assigned to the said edge surface of the recess and is suitable for coupling light into the inner pane via this edge surface.
- the light source itself can be arranged in the recess so that it is in the plane defined by the inner pane and the emitted light hits the edge surface directly, without any deflections.
- the light source can be clamped into the recess or glued to the edge surface, for example. It is also conceivable that the light source is located in a housing or a holder and is fixed there, with the housing or the holder being inserted into the recess, preferably with a precise fit.
- the composite pane according to the invention has at least one light extraction means for extracting light from the composite pane.
- the light extraction means is arranged on the interior surface of the thermoplastic intermediate layer, on the exterior surface of the thermoplastic intermediate layer or on the interior surface of the outer pane. In the sense of the invention, "arranged" means that the light extraction means is formed on the corresponding surface.
- a composite pane comprising at least an outer pane with an outer surface, an interior surface and a side edge surface running therebetween, an inner pane with an outer surface, an interior surface and a side edge surface running therebetween, a thermoplastic intermediate layer arranged between the outer pane and the inner pane with an outer surface, an interior surface and a side edge surface running therebetween, at least one light source arranged in a recess in the inner pane, which is delimited by a peripheral edge surface, in such a way that it is suitable for coupling light into the inner pane via the edge surface, at least one light extraction means for coupling light out of the composite pane, wherein the light extraction means is arranged on the interior surface of the thermoplastic intermediate layer, on the outer surface of the thermoplastic intermediate layer or on the interior surface of the outer pane.
- the side edge surfaces of the outer pane and the inner pane can be flat. However, it is common practice to grind the side edge surfaces of the outer pane and the inner pane in order to minimize the risk of injury they pose. The side edge surfaces are then curved or rounded, in particular convexly curved or rounded.

Description
BELEUCHTETE VERBUNDSCHEIBE
