Abstract

The invention relates to a modular duct for encasing cable bundles and securing same between the battery and the fuel tank of motor vehicles, said duct comprising a base (2) at least partially closed by a cover (1), between which said cable bundles are enclosed, characterized in that the cover (1) comprises two parts, namely a fixed part (1b) solidly connected to the base (2), and a part (1a) which is movable in translation relative to the base and which is provided with slides cooperating with guide rails formed on the end edges of the side walls (2a) of the base (2), so as to enable the extension of the duct and its adaptation to different vehicle wheelbases.
