The user terminal 40 may thus obviate the need for a user interface in the enrolment device.
  • Figure 5 illustrates some embodiments of a method which may be performed by the enrolment device 1.

Abstract

La présente divulgation concerne un dispositif d'inscription (1) pour l'inscription d'un modèle biométrique dans une carte à puce à activation biométrique (10). Le dispositif comprend une interface de communication de carte à puce pour l'alimentation et la communication sans fil avec la carte à puce, et une interface de communication de terminal pour une communication sans fil avec un terminal utilisateur. Le dispositif d'inscription est activé pour, dans un mode inscription, ordonner à la carte à puce d'effectuer un processus d'inscription pour inscrire un modèle de référence biométrique dans la carte à puce, et informer le terminal utilisateur concernant le processus d'inscription en cours d'exécution. Le dispositif d'inscription peut également, dans un mode entraînement, ordonner à la carte à puce d'effectuer un processus d'entraînement pour déterminer qu'un modèle de test biométrique obtenu par un capteur biométrique (12) dans la carte à puce correspond au modèle de référence enregistré stocké dans la carte à puce, et informer le terminal utilisateur concernant le processus d'entraînement en cours d'exécution.
