Abstract

Description
MODULAR CARRIER CASE
TECHNICAL FIELD
The invention relates to modular carrier case for use during the shipping or storage of different materials, in particular wind tower equipment.
BACKGROUND
Existing shipping cases that are currently used for shipments are single-use. They are delivered to the customer with the shipment. Since the existing shipping cases are large and not foldable, it is not economical to bring these cases back. These cases stay where they are delivered.
In addition, since the existing cases are not large in size and foldable, the storage can be performed with these cases in a maximum of two rows on top of each other in the storage area. The most important disadvantages of existing carrier cases are that they have large sizes and lack foldable and modular features.
In the patent and literature research, there is no patent or utility model application similar to the modular carrier case of the invention. However, some patents filed in a similar technical field are referred to below.
The patent application numbered TR2019/17491 relates to a vegetable and fruit carrier case, which is defined by primary walls, secondary walls and connection corners configured between the primary walls and the secondary walls, legs consisting of an upper part and a lower part positioned at said connection corners and damping springs provided on the said leg to be positioned at the lower end and upper end of each connection comer.
European Patent Application numbered EP3448768B1 relates to easily carryable latticed carrier cases, the lateral edge surfaces of which can be folded downward for transportation and have a clamping mechanism integrated into the edge for this purpose. The examples of
the preferred embodiments relate to a latticed case design in which the clamping mechanism is designed as a separate clamping element which also forms the edge of the corresponding lateral edge surface.
THE OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The main object of the invention is to develop a modular carrier case designed to be used during the shipping or storage of wind tower equipment.
Another object of the invention is to enable the carrier cases to be placed on top of each other because the carrier case comprises the foldable carrier profiles.
Another object of the invention is to enable the carrier cases to be carried in two layers using the foldable carrier profiles. Also, it is ensured that the carrier cases can be stocked in three or more layers as loaded in the storage area.
Another object of the invention is to enable the cases to be placed inside the container in two layers by being raised and pushed with a forklift from the other side using wheels on one side thereof.
Another object of the invention is to place up to 12 carrier cases on top of each other with folded carrier profiles. Here, it is to carry out the shipment of up to 24 empty cases by being placed in the container in two rows. In this way, it is ensured that the same carrier cases can be reused.

DETAIEED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The invention relates to modular carrier case (A) for use during the shipping or storage of different materials, in particular wind tower equipment.
As seen in Figure 1 and Figure 2, the carrier case (A) of the invention includes a main chassis (1) consisting of a plurality of horizontal profiles (1.1) and a plurality of vertical profiles (1.2) extending perpendicular to the horizontal profiles (1.1).
The carrier case (A) comprises the carrier profiles (2) which are mounted onto the horizontal profiles (1.1) in a foldable way. The carrier profiles (2) can be folded onto the vertical profiles (1.2).
The carrier cases (A) can be placed inside the container in two layers by being raised and pushed with a forklift using wheels (3) on one side thereof. For forklift blades, both forklift slots (4) on the horizontal profiles (1.1) and forklift slots (5) on the vertical profiles (1.2) are created.
The carrier profiles (2) seen in the vertical position in Figure 3 are used for placing the carrier cases (A) one on top of each other. When the carrier profiles (2) are in a vertical position, they can stand upright by being supported by the support plates (6) from two directions. While one end of the support plates (6) is connected to the horizontal and vertical profiles (1.1, 1.2), the other ends are fixed to the carrier profile (2).
Figure 4 shows the detail perspective view when the carrier profile (2) is in the folded position. A hinge (8) is used to fold the carrier profile (2) mounted on the horizontal profile (1.1) towards the vertical profile (1.2). A conical protrusion (9) is created at the lower end of the carrier profile (2). When the carrier profile (2) is in the vertical position, the conical protrusion (9) enters into the conical slot (10) created on the horizontal profile (1.1) to correspond to the said protrusion (9), thus the carrier profile (2) is allowed to stand upright.
When the carrier profiles (2) are desired to be folded, support plate locks (7) are used to fix the free ends of the support plates (6) removed from the carrier profile (2).
It is possible to carry the carrier cases (A) in two layers using the foldable carrier profiles (2). Also, it is ensured that the carrier cases (A) can be stocked in three or more layers as () loaded in the storage area.
Up to 12 carrier cases (A) can be placed on top of each other with folded carrier profiles (2). Here, it provides the shipment of up to 24 empty cases by being placed in the container in two rows. In this way, it is ensured that the same carrier cases (A) can be reused.
