Abstract

A method, controller, and computer-readable medium for executing an exchange transfer including receiving a transfer data structure, initiating generation of a unique cryptographic identifier corresponding to the transfer data structure on a distributed file system, generating a self-executing code corresponding to the transfer data structure, executing an exchange transfer corresponding to the transfer data structure, detecting one or more subsequent transfers from the second entity to the current owner of the unique cryptographic identifier on the distributed file system, and designating the unique cryptographic identifier as expired based at least in part on detection of the one or more subsequent transfers.
