Description

AUTOMATIC LABELLING MACHINE
TECHNICAL FIELD
The invention relates to a new automatically controlled label application machine, which increases the labelling speed and prevents unnecessary stoppage of the machine by automatically controlling the position, movement, and label sections of the Label liner.
PRIOR ART
Today, automatic labelling has become indispensable with the intensification of industrial production in many areas. In an environment where the concept of time is becoming increasingly important and efforts to boost production per unit time are increasing day by day, it is also important to increase the speed of labelling machines that work as integrated with production. Because the delivery speed of the Label liner here determines the number of products to be labelled per minute. In addition, it is very important for efficiency that the label is attached to the right place without being folded on the product. In the process of printing and affixing the label to the application substrate, it must pass through a large number of rollers and reels. Adjusting the tension in this process is very important in terms of printing speed and quality. There are small instantaneous changes in the label speed as the dancer tip hits the bearing at the contact point and releases the brake in order to unwind the label.
In the prior art, motion of the label liner, i.e. reaching a certain position on a labelling device, is achieved by using a label sensor, preferably mounted very close to the position where the labels are dispensed. The location of this sensor used is determined by trial and error, according to the experience of the person who installed the machine. In this case, during the operation of the labelling machine, when there are loosening or stretching due to different forces acting on the carrier liner on which the label is positioned when there is a gap between the labels on the carrier liner, labelling errors occur because the sensor cannot manage the drive correctly. This reduces the efficiency of the system as this is a situation that directly affects speed and quality. It is often not possible to provide the necessary ergonomics for the use of the device in the area where the labelling process will be performed. The lack of foot systems that will both keep the device stable and adapt to the application area emerges as a major problem.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Label liners consist of self-adhesive labels positioned at certain intervals, usually on carrier liners made of paper and plastic. The self-adhesive labels on these liners are peeled off from the liners with the help of a stainless steel peeler at the end of the dispenser system and adhered to another surface. There are gaps between the adhesive labels on the liner. Label lengths vary according to the dimensions and features of surfaces and products to be used. The sum of the length of the label and the length of the gap between the two labels represent the carrying distance of the label.
In the labelling machine, the working principle of the holding and unwinding mechanisms, in which the full label roll and the empty label roll are attached, are the same. The mechanism rotates the top knob clockwise to hold the label roll, and counter clockwise to release the label roll. When the knob is rotated, the circular sponge material under the movable pushers swells from its radial centre and presses on the label roll, and grips the label roll tightly. When the label is finished, the sponges that swell by turning the knob regain their former shape due to their flexible structure and the label roll is released.
The invention relates to an automatically controlled labelling machine, which includes a conveyor system that adjusts the tension of the label liner together with a movable sensor that detects the label lengths, gaps, absence of the label and provides the drive to the direction of travel in a controlled manner in order to control the labels of different lengths. With its height-adjustable balanced base system, it allows to be used in labelling areas ergonomically.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The invention is comprised of the label handling system (1 ), which prevents the label (6) from creeping, breaking, and slipping by adjusting the tension of the label (6) liner, the base system (2) that allows the device to be easily carried and fixed by adjusting it according to the working area, thus allowing the device to operate smoothly, the control system (3), which ensures the smooth continuity of the labelling process by checking the position and the absence or the presence of labels on the label liner, the label holder system (4) that allows the label (6) to be easily attached to the unwinding pulley (1.2) and intervened when necessary, and the label peeler (5).
Label handling system (1) contains brake (1.1 ), unwinding pulley (1.2), belt (1.3) and dancer (1.4). Thanks to the drive taken from the motor controlled by the control system (3), the label (6) liner tightens, and thus the dancer arm (1.4) in the label handling system (1) moves. Together with the movement of the dancer (1.4), the brake (1.1 ) gradually reduces the pressure of the belt (1.3) pressing on the unwinding pulley (1.2). Thus, the movement of the label (6) is provided by adjusting the tension of the strip, without causing it to creep, break or slide.
Base system (2) includes the parts and sections of the bottom plate (2.1), vertical profile (2.2), movement mechanism (2.3), fixing shaft (2.4), turning plate (2.5), and connecting shaft (2.6). Thanks to the movement mechanism (2.3) mounted on the vertical profile (2.2) on the bottom plate (2.1 ), the label application machine is positioned by adjusting its height vertically. Thanks to the parts and sections of the fixing rod (2.4), rotating plate (2.5), and connecting rod (2.6), which provide horizontal movement depending on the movement mechanism (2.3) and fastening up of the mechanism, the label application machine is positioned in the desired place to ensure stable operation.
The control system (3) plays an important role in providing the movement of the label (6) liner in a controlled manner, and in increasing the speed without reducing the quality and productivity during the operation of the label application machine. Control system (3) contains a sensor (3.2) that controls the labels (6) on the liner, and a central processing unit (3.1 ) that acts as a controller by processing the data received from this sensor (3.2). The central processing unit (3.1) adjusts the drive applied to the liner by processing the data it receives from the sensor (3.2). Thus, the sensitive labelling process continues without interruption despite the changes during production (speed change, flexibility, label (6) spacing, moisture balance, etc.). Thanks to the invention, it becomes possible to make adjustments for different label (6) sizes without changing the sensor locations, and also the accuracy and repeatability of the movement is ensured. Incorrect labelling is prevented by automatically detecting the missing labels (6) on the label (6) liner.
Algorithms at different speeds can be created on the central processing unit
(3.1 ). According to the operator's choice from among these algorithms, the central processing unit (3.1 ) runs the motor drive by arranging it according to the new calculations. Thus, precise labelling is efficiently achieved at the desired speed. The sensor (3.2), which detects the label (6) during the movement of the label (6) liner, plays an important role in the operation of the system by sending the signal it generated to the central processing unit (3.1 ).
When the knob (4.1 ) is turned clockwise, the label holder (4) causes the pusher (4.4) to move in the direction of the downward arrow by pressing the wheels
(4.2) on the risers (4.3) inside the pusher (4.4). Thanks to this movement of the pusher (4.4), the sponge (4.5) under the pusher (4.4) swells from its centre and holds the label (6) roll. When the label is finished, the knob (4.1 ) is loosened by turning it counter clockwise and the inflated sponges (4.5) regain their former shape due to their flexible structure and then release the label roll.
Label peeler (5) is made of stainless-steel sheet for high wear resistance. The label outlet is angled, and the farthest corner is curved so that it does not tear the label. With the movement of the label transport system (1), the label coming to the end is separated from the peeler (5) and adhered on the product.
The electronics and the motor housing of the label application system have an easy-to-clean ergonomics that will provide cooling and reduce dust retention. In this way, long periods of trouble-free operation are ensured.
