La présente invention concerne un appareil de surveillance automatique (20) d'un système de nettoyage (10) pour une machine de remplissage (1), le système de nettoyage (10) étant configuré pour nettoyer un circuit de remplissage (6) de la machine de remplissage (1) au moyen d'une pluralité de procédures de nettoyage ultérieures; l'appareil de surveillance automatique (20) étant configuré pour effectuer une surveillance des procédures de nettoyage, de telle sorte que, pour chaque procédure de nettoyage et pour chaque paramètre de nettoyage d'un ensemble de paramètres de nettoyage, la surveillance comprend : la détection de la tendance temporelle (TT) du paramètre (T); la détermination de toutes les anomalies, en comparant la tendance temporelle détectée à un modèle de référence respectif (TM); l'ensemble de paramètres de nettoyage comprenant au moins une température d'un flux de produit de nettoyage.
