Definitions
- the present disclosure relates to a ball screw device.
- a ball screw device includes a screw shaft, a nut that passes through the screw shaft, and a plurality of balls arranged between the screw shaft and the nut.
- a ball screw device converts rotary motion into linear motion when used in an injection molding machine, a press machine, or the like.
- the nut has a cylindrical nut body having an inner circumferential raceway surface on which balls roll, and a mounting portion positioned at an end of the nut body to which other components are mounted.
- the inner circumference raceway surface of the nut of Patent Document 1 has an effective diameter that increases as it gets closer to the mounting portion. In other words, the axial clearance between the balls and the inner raceway surface increases as it approaches the mounting portion. Therefore, even if the nut is elastically deformed by the stress, the load acting on the ball rolling near the mounting portion is suppressed so as not to increase.
- the ball screw device of Patent Document 1 does not consider expansion and contraction of the screw shaft. Moreover, there is a limitation that the number of ball circuits is one, and it cannot be applied to a case where there are a plurality of ball circuits. Therefore, development of a ball screw device that has a plurality of ball circuits and can suppress variation in load distribution for each ball circuit is desired.
- the present disclosure has been made in view of the above, and aims to provide a ball screw device capable of suppressing variation in load distribution for each ball circuit.
- a ball screw device includes a screw shaft, a nut, and a plurality of balls.
- the screw shaft has one end pointing in the first direction and the other end pointing in the second direction, and has an outer peripheral raceway surface on its outer peripheral surface.
- the nut has an inner raceway surface on its inner peripheral surface, and the screw shaft penetrates the nut.
- a plurality of balls are arranged on a raceway between the outer circumference raceway surface and the inner circumference raceway surface.
- the nut has at least three or more circulation parts.
- the track has at least three or more ball circuits corresponding to each of the circulating parts.
- the at least three or more ball circuits include a central circuit located in the center of the nut and a first circuit located in the first direction from the central circuit in an axial direction parallel to the central axis of the screw shaft. and a second circuit located in the second direction relative to the central circuit.
- the outer circumference raceway surface has the same effective diameter for each thread.
- a first inner circumference raceway surface belonging to the first circuit and a second inner circumference raceway surface belonging to the second circuit have an effective diameter with respect to the central inner circumference raceway surface belonging to the central circuit. different.
- the effective diameters of the first inner raceway surface and the second inner raceway surface are made larger or smaller than the effective diameter of the central inner raceway surface, the balls rolling in the first circuit and the second circuit are affected. load increases or decreases.
- the effective diameters of the first inner circumference raceway surface and the second inner circumference raceway surface are appropriately adjusted while considering the effects of stress acting on the nut and the screw shaft and expansion and contraction of the screw shaft. By setting, the load distribution for each ball circuit can be made uniform.
- the nut has a tubular shape and includes a nut body provided with the inner circumferential raceway surface and an end of the nut body in the first direction. and a first mounting portion provided on the portion.
- the screw shaft has a shaft shape and includes a screw shaft main body provided with the outer peripheral raceway surface and a second mounting portion provided at an end portion of the screw shaft main body in the second direction.
- the first inner raceway surface and the second inner raceway surface have a larger effective diameter than the central inner raceway surface.
- the first inner raceway surface of the present disclosure is larger than the effective diameter of the central inner raceway surface. Therefore, even if the first inner raceway surface is largely displaced in the axial direction due to elastic deformation of the nut body, an increase in the load on the balls of the first circuit can be kept small. Also, the second inner raceway surface is larger than the effective diameter of the central inner raceway surface. Therefore, even if the portion of the outer circumference raceway surface facing the second inner circumference raceway surface is largely displaced in the axial direction due to elastic deformation of the screw shaft, an increase in the load on the balls of the second circuit can be kept small. As described above, an increase in the load acting on the balls rolling in the first circuit and the second circuit is suppressed, and the load distribution for each ball circuit becomes uniform.
- the axial distance between the first mounting portion and the first circuit is the axial distance between the second mounting portion and the second circuit. shorter than distance.
- the first inner raceway surface has a larger effective diameter than the second inner raceway surface.
- the ball rolling in the second circuit has a smaller load (smaller load) than the ball rolling in the first circuit.
- the effective diameter of the first inner circumferential raceway surface is larger than the effective diameter of the second inner circumferential raceway surface. Therefore, the load acting on the balls rolling in the first circuit is much less than that on the balls rolling in the second circuit. Therefore, the load distribution for each ball circuit becomes uniform.
- each thread of the first inner circumferential raceway surface has a larger effective diameter as it is positioned in the first direction.
- the load distribution of the balls of the first circuit becomes uniform in the axial direction.
- each thread of the second inner circumferential raceway surface has a larger effective diameter as it is positioned in the second direction.
- the load distribution of the balls of the second circuit becomes uniform in the axial direction.
- each thread of the central inner circumferential raceway surface has an effective diameter that increases with increasing distance in the axial direction from the axial center portion of the nut body.
- the load distribution of the balls in the central circuit is uniform in the axial direction.

- a ball circuit circulating by the first circulation component 23A is called a first circuit 3A.
- a ball circuit circulated by the central circulating component 23B is referred to as a central circuit 3B.
- a ball circuit circulated by the second circulation component 23C is referred to as a second circuit 3C.
- the inner raceway surface 22 includes a first inner raceway surface 22A belonging to the first circuit 3A, a central inner raceway surface 22B belonging to the central circuit 3B, and a second raceway surface belonging to the second circuit 3C. and an inner circumferential raceway surface 22C.
- the effective diameters of the first inner raceway surface 22A and the second inner raceway surface 22C are different from the effective diameter of the central inner raceway surface 22B.

- the first inner raceway surface 22A and the second inner raceway surface 22C have larger effective diameters than the central inner raceway surface 22B (D1, D3>D2). Therefore, the axial and radial gaps between the balls and the raceway surfaces (the outer raceway surface 12 and the inner raceway surface 22) are larger in the first circuit 3A and the second circuit 3C than in the central circuit 3B.
- the inner diameter (diameter) of the nut 2 is the same from the end in the first direction X1 to the end in the second direction X2. That is, the screw ridge of the first inner raceway surface 22A, the screw ridge of the central inner raceway surface 22B, and the screw ridge of the second inner raceway surface 22C have the same height.

- the comparative example The maximum load is smaller than 1.
- the waveforms of the first circuit 3A and the second circuit 3C in FIG. 4 are shifted below the waveforms of the first circuit 3A and the second circuit 3C in FIG. Therefore, the ball rolling on the first circuit 3A and the second circuit 3C is suppressed from increasing the load due to the displacement of the rolling contact surface.
- the waveform of the central circuit 3B of the first embodiment moves above the waveform of the central circuit 3B in FIG.

- Each thread of the central inner circumferential raceway surface 322B has an effective diameter that increases axially away from the central portion in the axial direction (D34, D36>D35).
- Each thread of the second inner raceway surface 322C has a larger effective diameter as it is located in the second direction X2 (D39>D38>D37).
- the ball screw device of Comparative Example 4 differs from the ball screw device 100C of Embodiment 4 in that the effective diameters of the inner circumferential raceway surfaces 322 are all uniform (all D35).
- the amount of increase when the period of the balls is changed in the axial direction is slightly reduced.
- variations in the load distribution among the ball circuits (303A, 303B, 303C) can be suppressed, and variation in the load distribution of the balls in each ball circuit (303A, 303B, 303C) can be reduced. suppressed.
- the ball screw device of the present disclosure is not limited to the examples shown in the embodiments.
- the first mounting portion 21 is positioned at the end of the nut body 20 in the first direction
- the second mounting portion 11 is positioned at the end of the screw shaft body 10 in the second direction.
- the first mounting portion 21 may be positioned at the end of the nut body 20 in the second direction
- the second mounting portion 11 may be positioned at the end of the screw shaft body 10 in the first direction.
- the first attachment portion of the nut and the second attachment portion of the screw shaft may be arranged in the same axial direction.
- the first mounting portion may be positioned at the end of the nut body in the first direction, and the second mounting portion may be positioned at the end of the screw shaft body in the first direction.
- the first mounting portion may be positioned at the end of the nut body in the second direction, and the second mounting portion may be positioned at the end of the screw shaft body in the second direction.
- the present disclosure intends to equalize the load distribution for each ball circuit due to the axial displacement of the rolling surface, and the direction of the axial load acting on the ball screw device is determined by the tensile load and the compressive load. It is not limited to either one.
- each embodiment has one first circuit and one second circuit, but may be divided into a plurality of circuits. That is, the first circuit may have two circuits and the second circuit may have two circuits. Moreover, when the first circuit and the second circuit each have a plurality of circuits, the numbers may not be the same.
- the inner circumference raceway surface of the embodiment is a gothic arc
- the present disclosure may be a circular arc.
- the mounting portion of the present disclosure may be a mounting portion in which one end portion of the nut body 20 in the axial direction has a rectangular outer peripheral surface when viewed from the axial direction. do not have.
