Description

AIR STERILIZE PIPING SYSTEM WITH UV-C
Technical Field
This invention relates to an air sterilize piping system with UV-C which prevents the spread of infectious diseases for providing the better quality of life by cleaning the air by sterilization of harmful microorganisms such as bacteria, mite, virus, and fungi, which is used at public areas such as homes, office, restaurant, halls, banks, airports, travel terminals, vehicles, elevators, public transportation, and workplaces.
Known Status of Art
Air carries of a significant importance for all living creatures. Reasons such as urbanization, industry and increasing population make it difficult for us to reach sterile air. The destructive effect of air pollution on humans has been proven, both physically and psychologically, in studies carried out to date. The inability to sterilize the indoor air has also become a problem. The non-sterilizable air containing harmful microorganisms creates a great risk for humans and causes the proliferation of diseases spread by airways. To prevent diseases, it is important to prevent the spread of factors such as bacteria, mites, viruses, and fungi, and to ensure and protect hygiene in living spaces, crowded workplaces and, public areas. Since a lot of time is spent in these areas, the sanitation of the breathing air plays a very important role.
Bacteria, viruses, fungi and other creatures or non-living organisms that can cause acute and chronic diseases are classified as indoor biohazards. The COVID-19 pandemic, which caused the second pandemic of the twenty-first century, continues to spread rapidly and show its effects. The World Health Organization (WHO) warns about the course of the epidemic and the pandemic draws attention with the increasing number of cases. Pandemics are ranked among the top factors that pose a threat to global health. In terms of environmental factors, it is necessary to ventilate especially common closed areas, and provide clean air circulation. The suspicion that the COVID-19 virus can be transmitted by air, especially with droplet nuclei smaller than 5 microns, suspended in the air has brought some precautions, especially in closed ventilation and air conditioning systems. Some properties of ambient air and control of air currents are critical in this sense.
Currently, tools such as ventilation systems and filters are used for disinfection, but these methods do not provide 100 percent protection. In the state of the art, there are also sterilization systems using UV-C light technology. However, there is no structure providing air circulation in the UV-C lights used in these systems. For these reasons, the sterilization process is not sufficient. In addition, since it spreads only linearly, blind spots that cannot be reached for disinfection may occur.
In the utility model application numbered TR202005613, the device that has autonomous technology providing irradiation emission in UV-C standards has the design of providing the electrical operation of UV-C lamps located within the lamp unit mounted on mechanically extendible and relocatable, mechanically angular locatable plastic and metal stand by means of providing electrical energy to the device through the electric energy unit, and of starting or stopping the device in a controlled manner according to the sound, distance, movement perceived by the sensors of the sterilization device for which the signal communication of the screened, wired and wireless or mobile application controlled, electrically connected with the key set unit, function adjusted, programmable, time adjusted electronic control unit is ensured, and it is an automated robot system that ensures sterilization by emitting irradiation, which has UV-C irradiation technology through integrated system having mechanic and electric connection, to the surface with height and location setting and to the area at the required location with the handle of the robot, destroying the nucleic acids through the irradiation of the wavelength between 200- 280 nanometre range and inactivates the DNA’s of viruses and microorganisms by breaking and killing them, providing sterilization having UV-C irradiation technology of ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) technology. However, in the system used, serious indications such as eye and skin diseases that may occur following the direct contact of UV-C rays on individuals have been ignored. In the current situation, it is necessary to develop a new technology that can overcome the disadvantages, that does cause any harm to the health of human, that prevents the transmission of infectious diseases, that is easy to use, has low cost, and that provides a continuous sterilization process by circulating air.
Definition of Invention
This invention prevents the spreading of pandemics by providing air sterilization with ultraviolet irradiation without any harm to human health in indoor and public areas. It has a technology that circulates the air with a high rate of sterilization.
The invention provides a significant reduction in the spreading of viruses by circulating air with UVC light it provides. The invention inactivates the DNA of viruses and bacteria in confined spaces.
In the invention, UVC light radiating in the wavelength range of 265 to 285 nanometers is integrated into an open-ended pipe structure. The fan used in the system makes cleaning of ambient air continuously.
Air sterilization is provided effectively by means of the invention. In order to prevent the harmful effects of UVC rays that can cause cancer on the skin and cataracts in the eyes in prolonged contact, UVC is included in the pipe system within the invention. Since UVC rays are located in the pipe and thus do not radiate directly outside the pipe, it does not directly contact people and is safe to use. The fan contained in the pipe sterilizes the ambient air by drawing it into the pipe.
The aim of the invention is to provide a solution by minimizing the spread of airborne epidemics.
The structural and characteristic specifications and all the advantages of the invention will be more clearly understood by the following figures and the detailed explanation written with reference to these figures, and therefore this evaluation should be carried out by taking these figures and detailed explanation into consideration. The internal support (2) contains all the electronic parts of the system. In this way, it becomes the main area that performs sterilization. The number of UV-C LEDs (2.3) can be variable depending on the size of the pipe.
In the invention, instead of the stand (3), a hanger can be used for mounting on the wall or for hanging on the ceiling. The hanger can be attached to the body (1 ).
The device starts to sterilize the air in the environment by activating when the on-off button is pressed after the power cable is connected. The fan (2.2) pulls the air inside the body (1 ). UV-C LEDs (2.3) ensure that the air passing through the pipe is sterilized. The sterilized air is passed through the filter (2.4) positioned at the other end of the pipe and returned to the environment. Thus, the sterilization process is carried out continuously by circulating air.
Each of the UV-C LEDs (2.3) see an angle of 120 degrees and thanks to this feature, they disinfect and sterilize the air by inactivating the microbes in the air, DNA of microorganisms without any blind spots.
