Definitions
- the present invention relates to an air mat for preventing bedsores, and in particular, an air mat that can prevent bedsores by changing the position of a patient lying on the mat for a long time by dividing the mat in contact with the patient's body and controlling the air pressure of each mat is about
- Air mats inject air or gel into the patient's mattress to lower the contact body pressure between the human body and the mattress to a body pressure below the pressure sores. This is a method in which the caregiver adjusts the air (air) pressure of the mattress so that the body pressure can be distributed.
- the air mat can reduce the overall average body pressure of the body, but has a problem in that it is impossible to control the air pressure according to each part of the body. Therefore, since it is impossible to remove the high pressure or pressure of a specific part due to the weight and contact area of each part of the body caused by biomechanical differences, there is a problem that pressure sores are locally generated in parts of the body having a body pressure higher than the occurrence of pressure sores.
- the present invention has been devised to solve the above problems, by dividing the mat in contact with the patient's body and controlling the air pressure of each mat to change the position of the patient lying on the mat for a long time to prevent bedsores.
