Definitions
- the present invention relates to a double-sided adhesive sheet for optics.
- a display device, an input device, and the like includes a laminated structure including a substrate, a film, and the like.
- a double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet having light transmittance is sometimes used.
- This double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet includes a substrate and first and second pressure-sensitive adhesive layers bonded to both sides of the substrate.
- a touch sensor which is a type of input device, is divided into a central view area through which light transmits and a bezel area at an edge through which light is blocked.
- a decorative film that blocks light is attached to the bezel area.
- a conventional display device, an input device, etc. uses a double-sided adhesive sheet to bond a decorative film to a functional layer such as a polarizing film or a window film.
- this laminated bonding structure has a combined thickness of a decorative film, a double-sided adhesive sheet, and a functional layer, there is a problem in that the overall thickness is rapidly increased. Such an increase in thickness is a major cause of deterioration of foldability when a display device or the like is used for folding.
- the conventional double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet is often discarded without being used because the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is exposed to the outside and contaminated during use or storage.
- An object of the present invention is to provide an optical double-sided adhesive sheet that can minimize the thickness of the laminated structure by combining the function of the decorative film with the double-sided adhesive sheet.
- Another object of the present invention is to provide an optical double-sided adhesive sheet capable of maximizing or optimizing foldability of a display device or the like when a display device or the like is used for folding.
- the double-sided adhesive sheet for optical use of the present invention may include a first film, a second film, and a double-sided adhesive layer.
- the double-sided adhesive layer may be bonded between the first film and the second film.
- the double-sided adhesive layer may include a transparent base layer, a first adhesive layer, and a second adhesive layer.
- One side of the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer may be bonded to one side of the transparent base layer, and the other side may be bonded to the first film.
- One side of the second pressure-sensitive adhesive layer may be bonded to the other side of the transparent base layer, and the other side may be bonded to the second film.
- the edge of the double-sided adhesive layer may be located inside the edge of at least one of the first and second films.
- the first and second films may be a functional optical film or a release film.
- the transparent base layer may be a transparent film.
- the transparent base layer may have a thickness of 1 to 15 ⁇ m.
- the transparent base layer may be a decorative film.
- the decorative film may include an overcoat layer and a black matrix layer patterned on one side of the overcoat layer, and one side of the overcoat layer is buried in the overcoat layer.
- the overcoat layer may have a thickness of 3 to 15 ⁇ m.
- the overcoat layer when the black matrix layer is bonded, may include a step portion having a step difference of 0.5 to 5 ⁇ m.
- the overcoat layer may include an inclined portion having an inclination angle of 30 to 65 ° in the step region.
- the first and second pressure-sensitive adhesive layers coupled to the decorative film may have a thickness of 5 to 50 ⁇ m.
- the first and second pressure-sensitive adhesive layers coupled to the decorative film may have a glass transition temperature of -75 to -50 °C.
- the double-sided adhesive sheet for optics of the present invention may include a protective layer coupled between one side of the overcoat layer and the other side of the black matrix layer and the second adhesive layer.
