Description

LETTERING STENCIL THAT FACILITATES WRITING
Technical field
The present invention relates to a lettering stencil that will enable children who learn literacy, to enhance their hand coordination and to develop writing skills.
The invention is a lettering stencil structure that can be integrated to the writing material and that facilitates the correct drawing of letters and numbers with the aim of teaching writing to children or adults who are still in the learning process.
Present State of the Art
Literacy education is the most fundamental education subject that begins with being acquainted with letters and words in the primary school period of children. While children learn how to read, they also learn how to write what they read. This is a demanding process that covers a long period. Subsequently after teaching line drawing to children from the beginning in order to develop their hand coordination, the children are taught how to transform these lines into letters or numbers.
Repeatedly drawing lines develops children's manual skills and facilitates learning how to write letters and numbers in this manner. In this process, striped notebooks are used for proper drawing exercises, and it is aimed to achieve a certain size in drawing letters or numbers. Hence, there will be pages of faulty drawings until writing properly. Manual skills of children play an important part in their learning process.
People at certain ages, especially those in the older age group, may have poor writing, and it can be challenging to develop their writing skills as the individual have learned how to write in his/her own means, and in a wrong manner. However, writing properly is the basis of good writing.
Drawing letters and numbers in a certain size after learning process, normal or italic drawing, and handwriting styles require further learning process. Learning such writing also requires long periods of time.
The following application has been encountered in the literature regarding the subject matter.
In the patent application numbered TR2019/06723 with the title "Innovation in a grid-lined notebook that facilitates writing", grid-lines and straight lines are used together in the notebook in order to facilitate writing process. By this means, it is aimed to facilitate writing process by taking the lines as basis. In the present invention, writing experience must be practical in order to draw properly.
The patent numbered TR2010/10610 with the title "Tool that facilitates learning how to write properly" relates to a kind of mold made of materials such as plastic, paper, wood, and that enables drawing by attaching the tip of the pen. In the present invention, a separate apparatus is required for each letter, number, and pattern in order to draw.
As a result, due to the abovementioned disadvantages and the insufficiency of the current solutions regarding the subject matter, a development is required to be made in the relevant technical field.
Brief Description of the Invention
The present invention relates to a lettering stencil that meets the abovementioned requirements, eliminates all the relevant disadvantages, and provides certain advantages, and that can be attached to a drawing material consisting of letters, numbers, or patterns.
The primary object of the invention is to enable children and adults, who are still in the learning process, to write letters, numbers or symbols in the correct size and shape on the notebook.
An object of the invention is to shorten the learning time to write properly by means of a lettering stencil.
Another object of the invention is to develop writing skills of an individual who is learning how to write by enabling proper drawing of letters and numbers.
Another object of the invention is to contribute to the development of manual skills of children.
Another object of the invention is to improve the writing skills in a considerably short period of time and to save paper by reducing the use of writing materials such as notebooks.
Another object of the invention is to contribute to the memorization of the figures of the letters or numbers drawn in a shorter period of time by means of a lettering stencil.
Another object of the invention is to enable good hand writings by teaching how to properly write to individuals of certain ages who previously learned writing in a faulty manner.
Another object of the invention is to play increase the writing speed by drawing on the lettering stencil. The structural and functional features of the present invention will be understood clearly by the following detailed description and therefore the evaluation shall be made by taking the detailed description into consideration.

Detailed Description of the Invention
In this detailed description, the present invention is described by using the letter-number stencils (3) in the stencil page (2) to be used for facilitating writing, and for a better understanding of the relevant subject without any restrictive effect.
The present invention is the embodiment of a stencil page (2) placed between pages of writing materials 1 such as notebooks or books at certain intervals, and letter-number stencil (3), with which the letters, numbers or patterns are to be written on the stencil page (2).
The present invention shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 comprises a letter-number stencil (3) on the stencil page (2), which is used as a separate page in the writing material (1 ) consisting of pages 1 .
The letter-number stencil (3) is cut on the stencil page (2) in the shape of the relevant letter or number. In order to write, one can draw with his/her pen over the letter-number stencil. Drawing on the letter-number stencil (3) to the extent permitted by the blanks cut in the shape of relevant letter or number enables drawing letters, numbers or shapes in the desired size and shape. Herewith, the drawn pattern passes to the page under the stencil page (2). By this way, one can write in desired manner.
In each stencil page (2), there are letter-word stencils 3 apertured at certain intervals throughout the page. During writing process, the page under the stencil page (2) is filled with the desired letter or number by means of letter-number stencils (3).
In the consequence of this application: • The children and adults, who are in the learning process, are ensured to write properly with a correct technique.
• Manual skills of the children are improved.
• It is aimed to develop writing skills of the students in order to write in a much shorter time.
• It is aimed to prevent mistakes by embarking upon the details of the correct writing techniques.
• It is aimed to save time and education period by enabling an individual to learn how to write in a shorter period of time during the school period. • It is aimed to prevent paper wastage by making less mistakes or not making any mistakes at all in the writing process by saving writing materials such as notebooks.
