Abstract

本申请涉及一种通信方法及装置。接收来自网络设备的第一消息,第一消息用于询问第一终端设备是否能提供中继服务,或者,第一消息包括配置信息,配置信息用于配置第一终端设备为第二终端设备提供中继服务。向网络设备发送第二消息。当第一消息用于询问第一终端设备是否能提供中继服务时,第二消息用于指示第一终端设备能否提供中继服务;或者,当第一消息包括配置信息时,第二消息用于指示第一终端设备配置是否完成,或者指示第一终端设备能否提供中继服务。如果第一终端设备拒绝提供中继服务,由于网络设备也能获知该情况,则第一终端设备无需进入RRC重建立流程,而是可以继续正常在网络设备下工作,提高了第一终端设备的服务质量。
