Abstract

The object of the invention is to enable the storage and preservation of foodstuffs, such as bread and other bakery products, and to facilitate the straight cutting thereof, whilst at the same time preventing cutting residue, such as breadcrumbs, from spreading outside the object. To this end, said type of bin comprises, in addition to the body itself, an access door, a dedicated cutting guide and a sliding drawer enabling the collection of pieces of sliced food and cutting residue with a view to their removal.
