Ketal der allgemeinen Formel (II); in Gegenwart von c) mindestens einer kationischen Silicium(II)-, Silicium(IV)-, Germanium (II)- und/oder Germanium(IV)-Verbindung als Katalysator zu Alkoxysil(ox)anen und Ethern umgesetzt wird..
Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung von Alkoxysil(ox)anen aus Hydridosiliciumverbindungen
Die Erfindung betrifft ein neuartiges Verfahren zur Herstellung von Alkoxysil(ox)anen aus Hydridosiliciumverbindungen und Acetalen bzw. Ketalen in Gegenwart von kationischen Silicium(II)-, Silicium(IV)-, Germanium(II)- und/oder Germanium(IV)-Verbindungen als Katalysator. Ferner betrifft die Erfindung neuartige Silicium(II)-, Silicium(IV)-,
Germanium(II)- und Germanium(IV)-Verbindungen sowie deren Verwendung als Katalysator.
Alkoxysil(ox)ane sind technisch wichtige Verbindungen der Organosiliciumchemie. Sie werden z.B. für die Stopperung von Si-OH terminierten Siloxanketten und zur Herstellung von Siloxanen, über Hydrolyse und Kondensation oder über die Piers- Rubinsztajn-Reaktion eingesetzt.
Neben der direkten Darstellung aus Chlorsilanen und Alkoholen, welche als Gegenstromverfahren mit einem erheblichen technischen Aufwand zur Vermeidung von Siloxanbildung durch Anwesenheit von Chlorwasserstoff betrieben werden muss, sind auch Verfahren bekannt, bei denen Aldehyde und Ketone mit Hydridosiliciumverbindungen in Gegenwart von verschiedenen Katalysatoren umgesetzt werden können. Diese Umsetzungen verlangen häufig spezielle Bedingungen, wie z.B. tiefe Temperaturen und sind jeweils nur für spezielle Umsetzungen anwendbar.
In RSC Advances 2014, 4, 14475 ist die Umsetzung von Hydridosiliciumverbindungen mit Acetalen unter Verwendung von mindestens 5 mol-% AICI3 beschrieben, die zu Alkoxysilanen führt.
Im Armyanskii Khimicheskii Zhurnal 1985, 38, 248 ist die Umsetzung von weiteren cyclischen Acetalen und Ketalen mit Triethylsilan in Gegenwart von 10 mol-% an verschiedenen Metallchloriden beschrieben, die jedoch nicht selektiv ist.
Hier und im Zhurnal Obshchei Khimii 1984, 54, 372 wird eine selektive Umsetzung in Gegenwart von kolloidalem Nickel beschrieben, jedoch ist dieses Metall aufgrund seiner Toxizität nicht erwünscht.
Nach Compt. Rend. 1962, 254, 1814, Zhurnal Obshchei Khimii
1982, 52, 2284; 1981, 51, 2700 und 1980, 50, 397 wird die Umsetzung auch von ZnCl2 katalysiert, erfordert jedoch hohe Temperaturen und sehr lange Reaktionszeiten, oft mehrere Tage.
Ein breit anwendbares Verfahren, welches einfach auszuführen ist und mit deutlich geringeren Katalysatormengen ausführbar ist, steht daher noch aus.
Es wurde nun im Rahmen der vorliegenden Erfindung gefunden, dass Hydridosiliciumverbindungen mit Acetalen oder Ketalen in Gegenwart von kationischen Silicium(II)-, Silicium(IV)-, Germanium(II)- und/oder Germanium(IV)-Verbindungen als Katalysatoren in Alkoxysil(ox)ane überführt werden können. Die Umsetzung verläuft rasch und selektiv unter einfachen Reaktionsbedingungen. Viele Hydridosiliciumverbindungen,
Acetale und Ketale stehen großtechnisch kostengünstig zur Verfügung, was einen weiteren Vorteil des Verfahrens darstellt.
Ein Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Alkoxysil(ox)anen, wobei a) mindestens eine Hydridosiliciumverbindung, die ausgewählt ist aus
(al) Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (I)
R1R2R3Si-H (I), worin die Reste R1, R2 und R3 unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt werden aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) Wasserstoff, (ii) Halogen, (iii) unsubstituierter oder substituierter C1-C20- Kohlenwasserstoffrest, und (iv) unsubstituierter oder substituierter C1-C20-Kohlenwasserstoffoxyrest, wobei substituiert jeweils meint, dass der Kohlenwasserstoff- oder Kohlenwasserstoffoxyrest unabhängig voneinander mindestens eine der folgenden Substitutionen aufweist: ein Wasserstoffatom kann durch Halogen, - C=N, - ORz, - SRZ, - NRZ 2, - PRz 2, - O-CO-Rz,
- NH-CO-Rz, - O-CO-ORz oder - C00Rz ersetzt sein, eine CH2- Gruppe kann durch - 0 -, - S - oder - NRz - ersetzt sein, und ein C-Atom kann durch ein Si-Atom ersetzt sein, worin Rz jeweils unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt wird aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Wasserstoff, C1-C6-Alkylrest, und C6-C14-Arylrest; und/oder
(a2) Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (I')

Ketal der allgemeinen Formel ( II)

Kohlenwasserstoffrest, bei dem einzelne, nicht benachbarte CH2- Gruppen auch durch ein Sauerstoffatom ersetzt sein können, verbunden sind; oder wobei der Rest Rx auch mit dem Rest R1 verbunden sein kann, sodass ein Cyclus gebildet wird, bei dem das Sauerstoffatom und das Kohlenstoffatom der Gruppe - CR1R2- über einen zweibindigen C2-C4o-Kohlenwasserstoffrest, bei dem einzelne, nicht
benachbarte CH2-Gruppen auch durch ein Sauerstoffatom ersetzt sein können, verbunden sind; in Gegenwart von c) mindestens einer kationischen Silicium(II)-, Silicium(IV)-, Germanium(II)- und/oder Germanium(IV)-Verbindung als Katalysator, zu Alkoxysil(ox)anen und Ethern umgesetzt wird.
Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren liefert die Alkoxysil(ox)ane in hohen Ausbeuten. Bei der Reaktion werden auch Ether gebildet, siehe Reaktionsgleichung (1).

Es wird mindestens eine Hydridosiliciumverbindung eingesetzt, womit auch Mischungen von Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel
( I) und/oder Mischungen von Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (I') umfasst sind.
Bevorzugt werden in der allgemeinen Formel ( I ) die Reste R1, R2 und R3 unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) Wasserstoff, (ii) Chlor, (iii) unsubstituierter oder substituierter C1-C12- Kohlenwasserstoffrest, und (iv) unsubstituierter oder substituierter C1-C12-Kohlenwasserstoffoxyrest, wobei substituiert dieselbe Bedeutung wie zuvor hat; und bevorzugt werden in der allgemeinen Formel ( I ' ) die Reste Rx unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Chlor, C1- C6-Alkylrest, Phenyl, und C1-C6-Alkoxyrest, und die Indices a, b, b', c, c', c'', d, d', d'', d''' werden unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt aus einer ganzen Zahl im Bereich von 0 bis 1.000.
Besonders bevorzugt werden in der allgemeinen Formel (I) die Reste R1 , R2 und R3 unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) Wasserstoff, (ii) Chlor, (iii) C1-C6- Alkylrest, (iv) Phenyl, und (v) C1-C6-Alkoxyrest; und besonders bevorzugt werden in der allgemeinen Formel ( I ' ) die Reste Rx unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Chlor, Methyl, Methoxy, Ethyl, Ethoxy, n-Propyl, n-Propoxy, und Phenyl, und die Indices a, b, b', c, c', c'', d, d', d'', d''' werden unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt aus einer ganzen Zahl im Bereich von 0 bis 1.000.
Ganz besonders bevorzugt werden in der allgemeinen Formel (I) die Reste R1 , R2 und R3 und in der allgemeinen Formel ( I ' ) die Reste Rx unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Wasserstoff, Chlor, Methyl, Methoxy, Ethyl, Ethoxy, n-Propyl, n-Propoxy, und Phenyl, und die Indices a, b,
b', c, c', c'', d, d', d' ', d' ' ' werden bevorzugt unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt aus einer ganzen Zahl im Bereich von 0 bis 1.000.
Eine Mischung von Verbindungen der Formel (I') liegt insbeson- dere bei Polysiloxanen vor. Der Einfachheit halber werden für Polysiloxane jedoch nicht die einzelnen Verbindungen der Mischung angegeben, sondern es wird eine der Formel (I') ähnliche mittlere Formel (I'a) angegeben:

Bevorzugt werden solche Mischungen der mittleren Formel (I'a) , worin die Indices a, b, b', c, c', c' ', d, d', d' ', d' '' unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt werden aus einer Zahl im Bereich von 0 bis 20.000.

Acetale/Ketale
Es wird mindestens ein Acetal bzw. Ketal der allgemeinen Formel ( II ) eingesetzt
RXO-CR1R2-ORy (II) , worin die Reste Rx und Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt werden aus C1-C20-Kohlenwasserstoffresten, bei denen einzelne, nicht benachbarte CH2-Gruppen auch durch ein Sauerstoffatom ersetzt sein können; und worin die Reste R1 und R2 unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt werden aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) Wasserstoff und (ii) unsubstituierter C1-C20-Kohlenwasserstoffrest; wobei die Reste Rx und Ry auch miteinander verbunden sein können, sodass ein Cyclus gebildet wird, bei dem die beiden Sauerstoffatome über einen zweibändigen C2-C4o-Kohlenwasser- stoffrest, bei dem einzelne, nicht benachbarte CH2-Gruppen auch durch ein Sauerstoffatom ersetzt sein können, verbunden sind; oder wobei der Rest Rx auch mit dem Rest R1 verbunden sein kann, sodass ein Cyclus gebildet wird, bei dem das Sauerstoffatom und das Kohlenstoffatom der Gruppe -CR1R2- über einen zweibindigen C2-C4o-Kohlenwasserstoffrest, bei dem einzelne, nicht benachbarte CH2-Gruppen auch durch ein Sauerstoffatom ersetzt sein können, verbunden sind.
Wenn in Formel (II) die Reste Rx und Ry verschieden sind, dann entstehen die Alkoxysil(ox)ane Si-ORx und Si-ORy und die Ether RyO-CHR1R2 undRxO-CHR1R2 (vgl. Reaktionsgleichung 1). Bevorzugt gilt in Formel (II): Rx = Ry.
Wenn in Formel (II) der Rest Rx mit dem Rest Ry einen Cyclus bildet, dann ist dieser Cyclus bevorzugt symmetrisch sub- stituiert.
Wenn in Formel (II) der Rest Rx mit dem Rest R1 einen Cyclus bildet, dann ist die Bildung des Alkoxysilans der acyclischen Seite Si-ORy begünstigt.
Bevorzugt gilt in Formel (II): a) keiner der Reste ist mit einem anderen Rest verbunden und Rx = Ry; oder b) der Rest Rx ist mit dem Rest Ry zu einem Cyclus verbunden und dieser Cyclus ist symmetrisch substituiert; oder c) der Rest Rx ist mit dem Rest R1 verbunden, so dass ein 2- Tetrahydrofuranyl- oder ein 2-Tetrahydropyranylrest gebildet wird.
Bevorzugt werden die Reste Rx und Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt aus C1-C7-Kohlenwasserstoffresten.
Bevorzugt werden die Reste R1 und R2 unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) Wasserstoff und (ii) unsubstituierter C1-C3-Kohlenwasserstoffrest.

Kationische Silicium- und/oder Germaniumverbindung Es wird mindestens eine kationische Silicium(II)-,
Silicium(IV)-, Germanium(II)- und/oder Germanium(IV)-Verbindung als Katalysator eingesetzt.
Bevorzugt wird mindestens eine kationische Silicium- und/oder Germaniumverbindung als Katalysator eingesetzt, die ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) Silicium(II)- und Germanium (II)-Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (III)
([M(II)Cp]+)a Xa- (III), worin M ausgewählt ist aus Germanium oder Silicium, und Cp ein p-gebundener Cyclopentadienylrest der allgemeinen Formel (lIla) ist
worin die Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt werden aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) Triorganosilylrest der Formel
- SiRb 3, worin die Reste Rb unabhängig voneinander C1-C20- Kohlenwasserstoffrest bedeuten, (ii) Wasserstoff, (iii) unsubstituierter oder substituierter C1-C20- Kohlenwasserstoffrest, und (iv) unsubstituierter oder substituierter C1-C20-Kohlenwasserstoffoxyrest, wobei auch jeweils zwei Reste Ry miteinander einen monocyclischen oder polycyclischen C2-C20-Kohlenwasserstoffrest bilden können, und wobei substituiert jeweils meint, dass im Kohlenwasserstoff- oder Kohlenwasserstoffoxyrest auch mindestens ein C-Atom durch ein Si-Atom ersetzt sein kann,
Xa- ein a wertiges Anion bedeutet und a die Werte 1, 2 oder 3 annehmen kann; und (ii) Silicium(IV)- und Germanium(IV)-Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (IV)
worin die Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt werden aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) Wasserstoff und (ii) C1-C50- Kohlenwasserstoffrest; und worin die Reste Z unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus Silicium(IV) oder Germanium(IV); und worin der Rest Y einen zweibändigen C2-C50- Kohlenwasserstoffrest bezeichnet; und worin der Index a die Werte 1, 2 oder 3 annimmt; und worin Xa- ein a wertiges Anion bedeutet.
Es wird mindestens eine kationische Silicium- und/oder Germaniumverbindung als Katalysator eingesetzt, wobei auch Mischungen von Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (III) und/oder (IV) umfasst sind.
Beispiele für Reste Ry in Formel (lila) sind Wasserstoff, Alkylreste, wie der Methyl-, Ethyl-, n-Propyl-, iso-Propyl-, n- Butyl-, sec-Butyl-, iso-Butyl-, tert.-Butyl-, n-Pentyl-, sec- Pentyl, iso-Pentyl-, neo-Pentyl-, tert.-Pentylrest; Hexylreste, wie der n-Hexylrest; Heptylreste, wie der n-Heptylrest; Octylreste, wie der n-Octylrest und iso-Octylreste, wie der 2,4,4-Trimethylpentylrest; Nonylreste, wie der n-Nonylrest; Decylreste, wie der n-Decylrest; Dodecylreste, wie der n- Dodecylrest; Hexadecylreste, wie der n-Hexadecylrest; Octadecylreste, wie der n-Octadecylrest; Cycloalkylreste, wie der Cyclopentyl-, Cyclohexyl-, Cycloheptylrest und Methylcyclohexylrest; Arylreste, wie der Phenyl-, Naphthyl-, Anthracen- und Phenanthrenrest; Alkarylreste, wie der o-, m- und p-Tolyl-, Xylyl-, Mesitylenyl- und o-, m- und p- Ethylphenylrest; Alkarylreste, wie der Benzylrest, der a- und der ß-Phenylethylrest; und Alkylsilylreste wie Trimethylsilyl, Triethylsilyl, Tripropylsilyl, Dimethylethylsilyl, Dimethyl- tert-butylsilyl und Diethylmethylsilylrest.
Bevorzugt werden in Formel (lila) die Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) C1-C3- Alkylrest, (ii) Wasserstoff und (iii) Triorganosilylrest der Formel -SiRb 3, worin die Reste Rb unabhängig voneinander C1-C20- Alkylrest bedeuten. Bevorzugt wird mindestens eine kationische Silicium- und/oder Germaniumverbindung als Katalysator eingesetzt, die ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) Silicium (II)- und Germanium(II)-Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel ( III ) , in denen die Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt werden aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Methylrest, Wasserstoff und Trimethylsilylrest, und das Anion X- ausgewählt wird aus der Gruppe bestehend aus [B(SiCl3)4]-, [B(C6F5)4]-, {B[C6F4 (4-TBS)]4}- mit TBS = SiMe2tert-Butyl, [B(2-NaphF)4]- mit 2-Naphp = perfluorierter 2-Naphthylrest; und (ii) Silicium(IV)- und Germanium (IV)-Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (IV), bei denen die Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) C1-C6-Alkylrest und (ii)

Ganz besonders bevorzugt wird mindestens eine kationische Silicium- und/oder Germaniumverbindung als Katalysator eingesetzt, die ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe bestehend aus [Cp*Ge]+ [B(C6Fs)4]-, [Cp*Si]+ [B(SiCl3)4]-, [Cp*Ge]+ [B(SiCl3)4]-, [Cp*Si]+ [B(C6F5)4]-, [Cp(SiMe3)3Ge]+ [B(SiCl3)4]- und Verbindungen der Formel (IV), bei denen die Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) unverzweigter C1-C4-Alkylrest und (ii) Phenylrest, und bei denen der Rest Y ein 1,8-Naphthalindiyl-Rest ist, und bei denen die Reste Z unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus Silicium(IV) oder Germanium(IV) und bei denen das Anion x- ausgewählt wird aus der Gruppe bestehend aus [B(C6F5)4]- und [B(SiCl3)4]- .
Die Reaktanden und der Katalysator können in beliebiger Reihenfolge miteinander in Kontakt gebracht werden.
Vorzugsweise bedeutet in Kontakt bringen, dass die Reaktanden
und der Katalysator vermischt werden, wobei das Vermischen in einer dem Fachmann bekannten Weise erfolgt. Beispielsweise können die Verbindungen der Formel (I ) bzw. (I') und ( II) miteinander vermischt werden und dann kann der Katalysator der Formel (III) und/oder ( IV) zugegeben werden. Ebenso ist es möglich, zunächst die Verbindungen der Formel (I) bzw. (I') oder (II) mit einem Katalysator der Formel (III) und/oder ( IV) zu mischen und dann die noch fehlende Verbindung hinzuzufügen.
Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren kann an Luft oder unter Luftausschluss durchgeführt werden. Bevorzugt ist die Durchführung unter Ausschluss von Luft, beispielsweise unter Stickstoff oder Argon.
Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren wird vorzugsweise in einem Temperaturbereich von 0 °C bis 150 °C durchgeführt, bevorzugt wird das Verfahren in einem Temperaturbereich von 20 °C bis 100 °C durchgeführt.
Das molare Verhältnis von Acetal bzw. Ketal zu Si-H-Gruppen liegt üblicherweise in einem Bereich von mindestens 1:100 bis 100:1, bevorzugt 1:10 bis 10:1, besonders bevorzugt 1:2 bis
2:1.
Der Druck bei dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren kann vom Fachmann frei gewählt werden, üblicherweise liegt der Druck im Bereich von 0,1 bar bis 50 bar. Besonders bevorzugt wird das Verfahren bei Normaldruck durchgeführt.
Die erfindungsgemäße Umsetzung kann ohne Lösemittel oder mit Zusatz eines oder mehrerer Lösemittel durchgeführt werden. Der Anteil des Lösemittels oder des Lösemittelgemisches beträgt bezogen auf die Verbindung der Formel (I) bzw. (!') bevorzugt
mindestens 0,01 Gew.-% und höchstens die 1000-fache Gewichtsmenge, besonders bevorzugt mindestens 1 Gew.-% und höchstens die 100-fache Gewichtsmenge, ganz besonders bevorzugt mindestens 10 Gew.-% und höchstens die 10-fache Gewichtsmenge. Bevorzugt wird die Verbindung der Formel ( III) vor der Umsetzung in einem Lösungsmittel gelöst.
Als Lösemittel können bevorzugt aprotische Lösemittel, beispielsweise Kohlenwasserstoffe wie Pentan, Hexan, Heptan, Cyclohexan oder Toluol, Chlorkohlenwasserstoffe wie Dichlormethan, Chloroform, Chlorbenzol oder 1,2-Dichlorethan, Ether wie Diethylether, Methyl-tert.-butylether, Anisol, Tetrahydrofuran oder Dioxan, oder Nitrile wie z.B. Acetonitril oder Propionitril, eingesetzt werden.
Lösemittel oder Lösemittelgemische mit einem Siedepunkt bzw. Siedebereich von bis zu 120 °C bei 0,1 MPa sind bevorzugt. Bevorzugt handelt es sich bei den Lösemitteln um chlorierte und nicht chlorierte aromatische oder aliphatische Kohlen- wasserstoffe.
Die Menge an Katalysator der Formel ( III) oder ( IV) kann vom Fachmann frei gewählt werden. Üblicherweise liegt die Katalysatormenge unter 1 mol-% bezogen auf die Silicium- gebundenen Wasserstoffatome der Verbindung (I) bzw. (I').
Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren ist technisch sehr leicht ausführbar, es benötigt keine besonderen Bedingungen oder technischen Anforderungen. Die benötigen Edukte stehen im Allgemeinen großtechnisch zur Verfügung. Die benötigten Mengen an Katalysator sind gering und liegen gewöhnlich unter 1 mol-%.
Die bislang bekannten kationischen Si- und Ge-Verbindungen sind stets mit Fluor-haltigen Anionen kombiniert. Organische Fluor-
Verbindungen sind jedoch häufig toxische Verbindungen, sie sind nur sehr langsam biologisch abbaubar und daher in Anwendungen oft nicht erwünscht. Eine weitere Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es daher, alternative kationische Silicium- oder Germaniumverbindungen mit einem Fluorid-freien Anion bereitzustellen. Diese Aufgabe wurde gelost, indem das Fluorid- freie Gegenion [B(SiCl3)4]' mit den kationischen Silicium- und Germaniumverbindungen kombiniert wurde. Ein weiterer Gegenstand der Erfindung sind daher kationische Silicium- und Germaniumverbindungen ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (a) Silicium(II)- und Germanium(II)-Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (III') [M(II) Cp] + [B(SiCl3) 4]- (III ' ) worin M ausgewählt ist aus Germanium oder Silicium, und Cp ein p-gebundener Cyclopentadienylrest der allgemeinen Formel (III 'a) ist
worin die Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt werden aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) Triorganosilylrest der Formel - SiRb3, worin die Reste Rb unabhängig voneinander C1-C20-
Kohlenwasserstoffrest bedeuten, (ii) Wasserstoff, (iii) unsubstituierter oder substituierter C1-C20- Kohlenwasserstoffrest, und (iv) unsubstituierter oder
substituierter C1-C20-Kohlenwasserstoffoxyrest, wobei auch jeweils zwei Reste Ry miteinander einen monocyclischen oder polycyclischen C2-C20-Kohlenwasserstoffrest bilden können, und wobei substituiert jeweils meint, dass im Kohlenwasserstoff- oder Kohlenwasserstoffoxyrest auch mindestens ein C-Atom durch ein Si-Atom ersetzt sein kann; und (b) Silicium(IV)- und Germanium(IV)-Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (IV' )
worin die Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt werden aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) Wasserstoff und (ii) C1-C50- Kohlenwasserstoffrest; und worin die Reste Z unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus Silicium(IV) oder Germanium(IV); und worin der Rest Y einen zweibindigen C2-50-
Kohlenwasserstoffrest bezeichnet.
Beispiele für Reste Ry in Formel ( III 'a) sind Wasserstoff, Alkylreste, wie der Methyl-, Ethyl-, n-Propyl-, iso-Propyl-, n- Butyl-, sec-Butyl-, iso-Butyl-, tert.-Butyl-, n-Pentyl-, sec- Pentyl, iso-Pentyl-, neo-Pentyl-, tert.-Pentylrest; Hexylreste, wie der n-Hexylrest; Heptylreste, wie der n-Heptylrest;
Octylreste, wie der n-Octylrest und iso-Octylreste, wie der 2,4,4-Trimethylpentylrest; Nonylreste, wie der n-Nonylrest; Decylreste, wie der n-Decylrest; Dodecylreste, wie der n- Dodecylrest; Hexadecylreste, wie der n-Hexadecylrest; Octadecylreste, wie der n-Octadecylrest; Cycloalkylreste, wie
der Cyclopentyl-, Cyclohexyl-, Cycloheptylrest und Methylcyclohexylrest; Arylreste, wie der Phenyl-, Naphthyl-, Anthracen- und Phenanthrenrest; Alkarylreste, wie der o-, m- und p-Tolyl-, Xylyl-, Mesitylenyl- und o-, m- und p- Ethylphenylrest; Alkarylreste, wie der Benzylrest, der a- und der ß-Phenylethylrest; und Alkylsilylreste wie Trimethylsilyl, Triethylsilyl, Tripropylsilyl, Dimethylethylsilyl, Dimethyl- tert-butylsilyl und Diethylmethylsilylrest.
Besonders bevorzugt werden die Reste Ry in Formel (III'a) unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt aus Methylrest, Wasserstoff und Trimethylsilylrest.
Bevorzugt werden die kationischen Silicium- und Germaniumverbindungen ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (a) Silicium(II)- und Germanium(II)-Verbindungen der allgemeinen Verbindungen der Formel (III'), bei denen in Formel (III'a) die Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt werden aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) C1-C3-Alkylrest, (ii) Wasserstoff und (iii) Triorganosilylrest der Formel -SiRb 3, worin die Reste Rb unabhängig voneinander C1-C20-Alkylrest bedeuten, und (b) Silicium(IV)- und Germanium(IV)-Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (IV'), bei denen die Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) C1-C12-Alkylrest und (ii) Phenylrest, und bei denen der Rest Y ein 1,8-Naphthalindiyl-Rest ist, und bei denen die Reste Z unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus Silicium(IV) oder Germanium(IV).
Besonders bevorzugt werden die kationischen Silicium- und Germaniumverbindungen ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (a) Silicium(II)-Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (III'), bei denen in Formel (III'a) die Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander C1-C3-Alkylrest bedeuten, (b) Germanium(II)-Verbindungen der
allgemeinen Formel (III'), bei denen in Formel (Ill'a) die Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) C1-C3-Alkylrest, (ii) Wasserstoff und (iii) Triorganosilylrest der Formel -SiRb3, worin die Reste Rb unabhängig voneinander C1-C4-Alkylrest bedeuten, und (c)
Silicium(IV)- und Germanium(IV)-Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (IV'), bei denen die Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) C1-C4-Alkylrest und (ii) Phenylrest, und bei denen der Rest Y ein 1,8- Naphthalindiyl-Rest ist, und bei denen die Reste Z unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus Silicium(IV) oder Germanium(IV).
Ganz besonders bevorzugt werden die kationischen Silicium- und Germaniumverbindungen ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (a) Silicium(II)-Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (III'), bei denen in Formel (III'a) alle Reste Ry identisch sind und ein C1-C3-Alkylrest sind, (b) Germanium(II)-Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (III'), bei denen in Formel (Ill'a) die Reste Ry (i) alle identisch sind und ein C1-C3-Alkylrest sind, oder (ii) unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (ii.i) Wasserstoff und (ii.ii) Triorganosilylrest der Formel -SiRb3, worin die Reste Rb unabhängig voneinander C1- C4-Alkylrest bedeuten, mit der Maßgabe, dass 1 bis 4 Reste Ry ein Triorganosilylrest sind, und (c) Silicium(IV)- und Germanium(IV)-Verbindungen der Formel (IV'), bei denen die Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) unverzweigter C1-C4-Alkylrest und (ii) Phenylrest, mit der Maßgabe, dass mindestens zwei der Reste Ry identisch sind, und bei denen der Rest Y ein 1,8- Naphthalindiyl-Rest ist, und bei denen die Reste Z identisch sind und ausgewählt sind aus Silicium(IV) oder Germanium (IV).
Ein weiterer Gegenstand der Erfindung ist die Verwendung der erfindungsgemäßen kationischen Silicium- und
Germaniumverbindungen als Katalysator. Die erfindungsgemäßen Silicium- und Germaniumverbindungen eignen sich als Katalysator in denselben Reaktionen, in denen bisher kationische Silicium(II)-, Silicium(IV)-, Germanium(II)- und Germanium(IV)- Verbindungen als Katalysator eingesetzt wurden. Dies sind insbesondere die Herstellung von Alkoxysilanen,
Hydrosilylierungsreaktionen, Piers-Rubinsztajn-Reaktionen, oder die Umsetzung von Carbonylverbindungen mit Hydridosiliciumverbindungen.
Beispiele
Alle Reaktionen wurden unter Inertgasatmosphäre durchgeführt.
Beispiel 1: Herstellung von Triethylmethoxysilan 118 mg (1,55 mmol) Formaldehyddimethylacetal und 175 mg (1,50 mmol) Triethylsilan wurden gemischt und bei 25 °C mit einer Lösung von 1,3 mg (1,5 m μmol , 0,10 mol-% bezogen auf Si-H) [Cp*Ge]+ [B(C6F5)4]- in 240 mg d2-Dichlormethan versetzt. Nach 16 Stunden bei 60 °C betrug die Ausbeute an Triethylmethoxysilan 95 %, es entstand außerdem Dimethylether (NMR-Untersuchung der Produktlösung).
Beispiel 2: Herstellung von Triethylmethoxysilan 178 mg (1,71 mmol) 2,2-Dimethoxypropan und 198 mg (1,70 mmol) Triethylsilan wurden gemischt und bei 25 °C mit einer Lösung von 1,5 mg (1,7 μmol ; 0,099 mol-% bezogen auf Si-H)
[Cp*Ge]+ [B(C6F5)4]- in 45 mg d2-Dichlormethan versetzt. Nach 16 Stunden bei 60 °C betrug die Ausbeute an Triethylmethoxysilan 93 % (GC-Flächen-%), es entstand außerdem Methylisopropylether.
Beispiel 3: Herstellung von Triethylethoxysilan 246 mg (2,12 mmol) Triethylsilan und 254 mg (2,15 mmol) Acetaldehyddiethylacetal wurden gemischt und bei 25 °C mit einer Lösung von 2,0 mg (2,3 μmol; 0,11 mol-% bezogen auf Si-H) [Cp*Ge]+ [B(C6F5) 4] - in 51 mg d2-Dichlormethan versetzt. Nach - wenigen Minuten bei 25 °C war die Umsetzung vollständig. Quantitative Ausbeute an Triethylethoxysilan und an Diethylether (NMR-Untersuchung der Produktlösung).
Beispiel 4: Herstellung von Triethylethoxysilan 246 mg (2,12 mmol) Triethylsilan und 256 mg (2,46 mmol) Formaldehyddiethylacetal wurden gemischt und bei 25 °C mit einer Lösung von 2,0 mg (2,3 μmol; 0,11 mol-% bezogen auf Si-H) [Cp*Ge]+ [B (C6F5 ) 4] -in 51 mg d2-Dichlormethan versetzt. Nach sechs Stunden bei 80 °C hatten sich 97 % Triethylethoxysilan gebildet (GC-Quantifizierung).
Beispiel 5: Herstellung von Triethylethoxysilan 312 mg (2,68 mmol) Triethylsilan und 307 mg (2,60 mmol) Acetaldehyddiethylacetal wurden gemischt und bei 25 °C mit einer Lösung von 0,3 mg (0,4 μmol; 0,02 mol-% bezogen auf Si-H) [Cp*Si]+ [B (SiCl3) 4] - in 205 mg d2-Dichlormethan versetzt. Nach 15 Minuten bei 25 °C betrug die Ausbeute an Triethylethoxysilan und an Diethylether je 97 % (NMR-Untersuchung der Produktlösung).
Beispiel 6: Herstellung von Triethylethoxysilan 305 mg (2,62 mmol) Triethylsilan und 303 mg (2,56 mmol) Acetaldehyddiethylacetal wurden gemischt und bei 25 °C mit einer Lösung von 0,3 mg (0,4 pmol; 0,02 mol-% bezogen auf Si-H) [Cp*Ge]+ [B (SiCl3) 4] - in 78 mg d2-Dichlormethan versetzt. Nach 15 Minuten bei 25 °C war die Ausbeute an Triethylethoxysilan und
an Diethylether quantitativ (NMR-Untersuchung der Produktlösung).
Beispiel 7: Herstellung von Triethylethoxysilan 312 mg (2,68 mmol) Triethylsilan und 307 mg (2,60 mmol) Acetaldehyddiethylacetal wurden gemischt und bei 25 °C mit einer Lösung von 0,4 mg (0,4 pmol; 0,02 mol-% bezogen auf Si-H) [Cp(SiMe3)3GE]+ [B(SiCl3)4]- in 205 mg d -Dichlormethan versetzt. Nach 15 Minuten bei 25 °C betrug die Ausbeute an Triethylethoxysilan und an Diethylether je 97 % (NMR- Untersuchung der Produktlösung).
Beispiel 8: Herstellung von Triethylethoxysilan 310 mg (2,66 mmol) Triethylsilan und 320 mg (2,71 mmol) Acetaldehyddiethylacetal wurden gemischt und bei 25 °C mit einer Lösung von 0,4 mg (0,4 pmol; 0,02 mol-% bezogen auf Si-H) der Verbindung der Formel (IV) mit Z = Ge, Ry = n-Butyl, Y =
1,8-Naphthalindiyl und X- = B(SiCl3)4- in 190 mg d2-Dichlormethan versetzt. Nach 30 Minuten bei 25 °C betrug die Ausbeute an Triethylethoxysilan und an Diethylether je 96 % (NMR- Untersuchung der Produktlösung).
Beispiel 9: Herstellung von Triethylethoxysilan 350 mg (2,77 mmol) Triethylsilan und 330 mg (2,79 mmol) Acetaldehyddiethylacetal wurden gemischt und bei 25 °C mit einer Lösung von 0,4 mg (0,5 pmol; 0,02 mol-% bezogen auf Si-H) der Verbindung der Formel (IV) mit Z = Si, Ry = Methyl, Y =
1,8-Naphthalindiyl und X- = B(SiCl3)4- in 220 mg d2-Dichlormethan versetzt. Nach 10 Minuten bei 25 °C betrug die Ausbeute an Triethylethoxysilan und an Diethylether je 99 % (NMR- Untersuchung der Produktlösung).
Beispiel 10: Herstellung von Triethylethoxysilan 252 mg (2,17 mmol) Triethylsilan und 258 mg (2,18 mmol) Acetaldehyddiethylacetal wurden gemischt und bei 25 °C mit einer Lösung von 1,9 mg (2,3 μmol ; 0,11 mol-% bezogen auf Si-H) [Cp*Si] + [B ( C6F5)4]- in 51 mg d2-Dichlormethan versetzt. Nach 15 Minuten bei 25 °C war die Ausbeute an Triethylethoxysilan und an Diethylether quantitativ (NMR-Untersuchung der Produktlösung).
Beispiel 11: Herstellung von Triethylethoxysilan 252 mg (2,17 mmol) Triethylsilan und 255 mg (2,16 mmol) Acetaldehyddiethylacetal wurden gemischt und bei 25 °C mit einer Lösung von 0,2 mg (0,2 μmol ; 0,009 mol-% bezogen auf Si- H) [Cp*Ge] + [B ( C6F5)4]- in 57 mg d2-Dichlormethan versetzt. Nach fünf Minuten bei 25 °C war die Ausbeute an Triethylethoxysilan und an Diethylether quantitativ (NMR-Untersuchung der Produktlösung).
Beispiel 12: Herstellung von Ethoxypentamethyldisiloxan 145 mg (0,977 mmol) Pentamethyldisiloxan und 120 mg (1,02 mmol) Acetaldehyddiethylacetal wurden gemischt und bei 25 °C mit einer Lösung von 0,08 mg (0,092 μmol, 0,0094 mol-% bezogen auf Si-H) [Cp*Si] + [B ( C6F5)4]- in 8 mg d2-Dichlormethan versetzt und dann noch mit 120 mg d2-Dichlormethan verdünnt. Nach 5 Minuten bei 25 °C hatten sich 40 % Ethoxypentamethyldisiloxan gebildet (GC-Quantifizierung).
Beispiel 13: Herstellung von Ethoxypentamethyldisiloxan 145 mg (0,977 mmol) Pentamethyldisiloxan und 124 mg (1,05 mmol) Acetaldehyddiethylacetal wurden gemischt und bei 25 °C mit einer Lösung von 0,08 mg (0,089 pmol, 0,0091 mol-% bezogen auf Si-H) [Cp*Ge] + [B ( C6F5)4]- in 8 mg d2-Dichlormethan versetzt und noch 155 mg d2-Dichlormethan zugegeben. Nach 5 Minuten bei
25 °C hatten sich 32 % Ethoxypentamethyldisiloxan gebildet (GC- Quantifizierung).
Beispiel 14: Herstellung von Triethyl(2-methoxyethoxy)silan 245 mg (2,11 mmol) Triethylsilan und 154 mg (2,08 mmol) 1,3- Dioxolan wurden gemischt und bei 25 °C mit einer Lösung von 1,8 mg (0,021 μmol; 0,010 mol-% bezogen auf Si-H)
[Cp*Si]+ [B ( C6F5)4]- in 180 mg d2-Dichlormethan versetzt. Die exotherme Umsetzung war nach wenigen Minuten vollständig (GC- Untersuchung der Produktlösung).
Beispiel 15: Herstellung von Triethyl(2-methoxyethoxy)silan 240 mg (2,06 mmol) Triethylsilan und 153 mg (2,07 mmol) 1,3- Dioxolan wurden gemischt und bei 25 °C mit einer Lösung von 1,7 mg (0,019 μmol; 0,009 mol-% bezogen auf Si-H)
[Cp*Ge]+ [B ( C6F5)4]- in 160 mg d2-Dichlormethan versetzt. Die exotherme Umsetzung war nach wenigen Minuten vollständig (GC- Untersuchung der Produktlösung).
Beispiel 16: Herstellung von Triethylmethoxysilan 206 mg (1,77 mmol) Triethylsilan und 206 mg (1,77 mmol) 2- Methoxytetrahydropyran wurden gemischt und bei 25 °C mit einer Lösung von 1,6 mg (1,8 μmol , 0,1 mol-% bezogen auf Si-H)
[Cp*Ge]+ [B ( C6F5)4]- in 160 mg d2-Dichlormethan versetzt. Nach 30 Minuten bei 25 °C war die Umsetzung vollständig, 99 % Ausbeute Methoxytriethylsilan und 99 % Ausbeute an Tetrahydropyran (NMR- Untersuchung der Produktlösung).
Beispiel 17: Herstellung von Triethylethoxysilan 203 mg (1,74 mmol) Triethylsilan und 206 mg (1,75 mmol) Acetaldehyddiethylacetal wurden gemischt und bei 25 °C mit 0,30 mg (0,33 μmol, 0,02 mol % bezogen auf Si-H) der Verbindung der Formel ( IV) mit Z = Si, Y = 1,8-Naphthalindiyl, Ry =
Methyl, X- = [B ( C6F5)4 - in 28 mg d2-Dichlormethan versetzt. Nach 15 Minuten bei 25 °C betrug die Ausbeute an Triethylethoxysilan und an Diethylether jeweils ca. 90 % (NMR-Untersuchung der Produktlösung).
Unter Argon wird eine Lösung von 101 mg (0,338 mmol) Decamethylsilicocen in 810 mg CD2Cl2 tropfenweise mit einer Lösung von 167 mg (0,303 mmol) H+B(SiCl3)4- in 2,35 g CD2CI2 versetzt. Die Lösung nimmt eine rötliche Farbe an. Zur Fällung des Reaktionsprodukts wird sie mit n-Heptan versetzt, bis kein weiterer Feststoff mehr ausfällt. Die Suspension wird ca.
30 Minuten auf -38 °C gekühlt und die überstehende Lösung mit einer Spritze entfernt. Der kristalline und noch feuchte Rückstand wird noch einmal aus CD2CI2 / n-Heptan umgefällt. Das kristalline Produkt [Cp*Si]+ [B (SiCl3) 4] - wird im Hochvakuum bei Raumtemperatur getrocknet.
Ausbeute: 118 mg (55 %).
1H-NMR CD2Cl2 : d = 2,27 (s, 5 Methylgruppen, Cp*); 29Si-NMR
(CD2Cl2): d = -397,4 [s, Si(II)+]; 23,50 (q, 1Jsi,B = 89,0 Hz, 4 (SiCl3); 11B-NMR (CD2Cl)2 : d = - 30,93 und -30,37 (1Jsi,B = 89,9 Hz, 29Si-Satelliten), - 30,65 [B(SiCl3)4].
Beispiel 19: Synthese von [Cp*Ge]+ [B (SiCl3) 4] -
Unter Argon wird eine Lösung von 103 mg (0,299 mmol) Decamethylgermanocen in 543 mg CD2C12 tropfenweise mit einer Lösung von 146 mg (0,266 mmol) H+B(SiCl3)4- in 3,18 g CD2C12 versetzt. Die Lösung nimmt eine dunkelgelbe Farbe an. Nach ca. 30 Minuten bei Raumtemperatur wird die Lösung mit n-Heptan versetzt, bis kein weiterer Feststoff mehr ausfällt. Die überstehende Lösung wird mit einer Spritze entfernt. Der kristalline und noch feuchte Rückstand wird noch zweimal in CD2C12 gelöst und jeweils mit n-Heptan gefällt. Das kristalline
Produkt [Cp*Ge]+ [B(SiCl3)4]- wird im Hochvakuum bei Raumtemperatur getrocknet.
Ausbeute: 130 mg (65 %). 1H-NMR (CD2C12): d = 2,25 (s, 5 Methylgruppen, Cp*); 29Si-NMR (CD2C12): d = 23,50 (q, 1Jsi,B =
89.4 Hz, 4 SiCl3); 11B-NMR (CD2C12): d = - 30,90 und - 30,35 ( 1Jsi,B = 88,3 Hz, 29Si-Satelliten), - 30,62 [B(SiCl3)4].
Beispiel 20: Herstellung von [Cp(SiMe3)3Ge]+ [B(SiCl3)4]- a) Synthese von Hexakis(trimethylsilyl)germanocen
Unter Argon wird eine auf -20 °C gekühlte Lösung von 2,6 g (9,2 mmol) Tris(trimethylsilyl)cyclopentadien in 30 ml trockenem n-Pentan unter Rühren mit 3,8 ml (9,5 mmol) einer 2,5 molaren Lösung von n-Butyllithium in n-Hexan versetzt. Man gibt 10 ml trockenes THF hinzu und versetzt langsam im Verlauf von ca. 9 Minuten mit einer Lösung von 1,1 g
Germaniumdichlorid-Dioxankomplex (1:1) in 9 ml trockenem THF. Nach 30 Minuten fällt ein feiner farbloser Niederschlag aus.
Man lässt über Nacht bei Raumtemperatur rühren und entfernt das Lösungsmittelgemisch im Vakuum bei Raumtemperatur. Der Rückstand wird in 6 ml n-Hexan digeriert und der Feststoff abzentrifugiert. Die klare orange-gelbe Lösung wird im Vakuum eingedampft und im Vakuum getrocknet.
Ausbeute: 1,5 g Hexakis(trimethylsilyl)germanocen,
[Cp(SiMe3)3]2Ge (50 %).
1H-NMR (CD2C12): d = 0,24 [s, 36 H, 4 Si(CH3)3], 0,25 [s, 18 H, 2 Si (CH3)3], 6,3 (s, 4H, Cp-H); 12C-NMR (CD2C12): d = -0,20 (s, 6 C, Si-CH3), 0,90 (s, 12 C, Si-CH3), 125,3 (s, 2 C1 und 2 C2),
130.4 (s, 2 C4), 133,2 (s, 2 C3 und 2 C4); 29Si-NMR (CD2Cl2): d = - 9,7 (s, 4 Si), - 10,0 (s, 2 Si). b) Synthese von [Cp(SiMe3)3Ge]* [B(SiCl3)4]-
Unter Argon wird eine Lösung von 305 mg (0,479 mmol)
Hexakis(trimethylsilyl)germanocen in 0,8 ml CD2C12 tropfenweise
mit einer Lösung von 249 mg (0,453 mmol) H+ B(SiCl3)4- in 2,4 mlCD2Cl2 versetzt. Die Lösung nimmt eine orange Farbe an. Nach ca. 30 Minuten bei Raumtemperatur wird die Lösung mit ca. 3,6 g n- Heptan versetzt, hierbei fällt ein wollweißer kristalliner Feststoff aus. Die überstehende Lösung wird mit einer Spritze entfernt. Der kristalline und noch feuchte Rückstand wird mit n-Pentan gewaschen und im Hochvakuum bei Raumtemperatur getrocknet.
Ausbeute: 238 mg (58 %)
1H-NMR (CD2CI2): d = 0,45 [s, 9 H, Si(CH3)3], 0,49 [s, 18 H, 2
Si(CH3)3], 7,00 (s, 2H, Cp-H).
Beispiel 21: Synthese der Verbindung der Formel (IV) mit Z =
Ge, Ry = n-Butyl, Y = 1,8-Naphthalindiyl und X = B(SiCl3)4-
Unter Argon wird eine Lösung von 245 mg (0,48 mmol) 1,1'-(1,8- Naphthalindiyl)bis[1,1-dibutylgerman] in 543 mg CD2Cl2 tropfenweise mit einer Lösung von 372 mg (0,47 mmol)
Ph3C+ B(SiCl3)4- in 3,18 g CD2Cl2 versetzt. Nach ca. 20 Minuten bei Raumtemperatur wird die Lösung mit n-Heptan versetzt, bis kein weiterer Feststoff mehr ausfällt. Die überstehende Lösung wird mit einer Spritze entfernt. Das kristalline Produkt wird unter Ar abgesaugt und im Hochvakuum bei Raumtemperatur getrocknet.
Ausbeute: 420 mg (85 %); 1H-NMR (CD2Cl2): d = 0,90 (t, 4 CH3), 1,40 (mc, 4 CH2), 1,58 (mc, 4 CH2), 1,91 (mc, 4 CH2), 2,33 (breit, 1H, Ge-H-Ge), 7,67-7.75 (m, 4 aromat. H), 8,16 (mc, 2 aromat. H); 29Si-NMR (CD2C12): d = 23,50 (q, 1Jsi=,B 89,4 Hz, 4 SiCl3); 1VB-NMR (CD2CI2): d = - 30,90 und - 30,35 ( 1Jsi,B = 88,3 Hz, 29Si-Satelliten), - 30,62 [B(SiCl3)4].
Beispiel 22 Synthese der Verbindung der Formel (IV) mit Z Si,
Ry = Methyl, Y = 1,8-Naphthalindiyl und X = B(SiCl3)4 -
Wie in Beispiel 21 werden 230 mg (0,94 mmol) 1,8- Bis(dimethylsilyl)naphthalin in 500 mg CD2CI2 mit 728 mg (0,92 mmol) Ph3C+ B(SiCl3)4- in 4,5 g CD2CI2umgesetzt.
Ausbeute: 630 mg (83 %); 1H-NMR (CD2C12): d = 1,16 (d, breit, 4 CH3), 4,13 (mc, Si-H-Si), 7,77 (mc, 2 aromat. H), 7,96 (mc, 2 aromat. H), 8,25 (mc, 2 aromat. H); 29Si-NMR (CD2Cl2): d = 55,3 (SiMe2), 23,50 (q, 1Jsi,B = 89,4 Hz, 4 SiCl3); 11B-NMR (CD2Cl2): d = - 30,90 und - 30,351Jsi,B = 88,3 Hz, 29Si-Satelliten),
- 30,62 [B(SiCl3)4].
Claims
1. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Alkoxysil(ox)anen, wobei a) mindestens eine Hydridosiliciumverbindung, die ausgewählt ist aus
(al) Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (I)
R1R2R3Si-H (I), worin die Reste R1, R2 und R3 unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt werden aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) Wasserstoff, (ii) Halogen, (iii) unsubstituierter oder substituierter C1-C20-Kohlenwasserstoffrest, und (iv) unsubstituierter oder substituierter C1-C20- Kohlenwasserstoffoxyrest, wobei substituiert jeweils meint, dass der Kohlenwasserstoff- oder
Kohlenwasserstoffoxyrest unabhängig voneinander mindestens eine der folgenden Substitutionen aufweist: ein Wasserstoffatom kann durch Halogen, - CsN, - 0RZ, - SRZ,
- NRZ2, - PRZ2, - 0-C0-Rz, - NH-CO-Rz, - O-CO-ORz oder
- COORz ersetzt sein, eine CH2-Gruppe kann durch - O -,
- S - oder - NRZ - ersetzt sein, und ein C-Atom kann durch ein Si-Atom ersetzt sein, worin Rz jeweils unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt wird aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Wasserstoff, C1-C6-Alkylrest, und C6 -C14-Arylrest; und/oder

worin die Reste Rx unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt werden aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) Halogen, (ii) unsubstituierter oder substituierter C1-C20- Kohlenwasserstoffrest, und (iii) unsubstituierter oder substituierter C1-C20-Kohlenwasserstoffoxyrest, wobei substituiert jeweils meint, dass der Kohlenwasserstoff- oder Kohlenwasserstoffoxyrest unabhängig voneinander mindestens eine der folgenden Substitutionen aufweist: ein Wasserstoffatom kann durch Halogen ersetzt sein, eine CH2- Gruppe kann durch - O - oder - NRZ - ersetzt sein, worin Rz jeweils unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt wird aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Wasserstoff, C1-C3-Alkylrest, und C6- C14-Arylrest; und worin die Indices a, b, b', c, c', c'', d, d', d'', d''' die Anzahl der jeweiligen Siloxaneinheit in der Verbindung angeben und unabhängig voneinander eine ganze Zahl im Bereich von 0 bis 100.000 bedeuten, mit der Maßgabe, dass die Summe aus a, b, b', c, c', c'', d, d', d'', d''' zusammen mindestens den Wert 2 annimmt und wenigstens einer der Indices b', c', c'', d', d'' oder d''' ungleich 0 ist; mit b) mindestens einem Acetal bzw. Ketal der allgemeinen Formel ( II )
RXO-CR1R2-ORy (II) , worin die Reste Rx und Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt werden aus C1-C20-Kohlenwasserstoffresten, bei denen einzelne, nicht benachbarte CH2-Gruppen auch durch ein Sauerstoffatom ersetzt sein können; und worin die Reste R1 und R2 unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt werden aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i)
Wasserstoff und (ii) unsubstituierter C1-C20- Kohlenwasserstoffrest; wobei die Reste Rx und Ry auch miteinander verbunden sein können, sodass ein Cyclus gebildet wird, bei dem die beiden Sauerstoffatome über einen zweibindigen C2-C40- Kohlenwasserstoffrest, bei dem einzelne, nicht benachbarte CH2-Gruppen auch durch ein Sauerstoffatom ersetzt sein können, verbunden sind; oder wobei der Rest Rx auch mit dem Rest R1 verbunden sein kann, sodass ein Cyclus gebildet wird, bei dem das Sauerstoffatom und das Kohlenstoffatom der Gruppe -CR1-R2- über einen zweibindigen C2-C40-Kohlenwasserstoffrest, bei dem einzelne, nicht benachbarte CH2-Gruppen auch durch ein Sauerstoffatom ersetzt sein können, verbunden sind; in Gegenwart von c) mindestens einer kationischen Silicium(II)-,
Silicium(IV)-, Germanium(II)- und/oder Germanium(IV)- Verbindung als Katalysator zu Alkoxysil(ox)anen und Ethern umgesetzt wird.
2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei in Formel (I) die Reste R1, R2 und R3 unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) Wasserstoff, (ii) Chlor, (iii) unsubstituierter oder substituierter C1-C12- Kohlenwasserstoffrest, und (iv) unsubstituierter oder substituierter C1-C12-Kohlenwasserstoffoxyrest, wobei substituiert dieselbe Bedeutung wie zuvor hat; und wobei in Formel ( I ' ) die Reste Rx unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt werden aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Chlor, C1- C6-Alkylrest, Phenyl, und C1-C6-Alkoxyrest, und wobei die Indices a, b, b', c, c', c'', d, d', d'', d''' unabhängig
voneinander ausgewählt werden aus einer ganzen Zahl im Bereich von 0 bis 1.000.
3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei in Formel (II) gilt: a) keiner der Reste ist mit einem anderen Rest verbunden und Rx = Ry; oder b) der Rest Rx ist mit dem Rest Ry zu einem Cyclus verbunden und dieser Cyclus ist symmetrisch substituiert; oder c) der Rest Rx ist mit dem Rest R1 verbunden, so dass ein 2-Tetrahydrofuranyl- oder ein 2-Tetrahydropyranylrest gebildet wird.
4. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1-3, wobei die kationische Silicium- und/oder Germaniumverbindung ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) Silicium(II)- und Germanium(II)-Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (III)
([M(II)Cp]+)a Xa- (III) worin M ausgewählt ist aus Germanium oder Silicium, und Cp einπ-gebundener Cyclopentadienylrest der allgemeinen Formel (lIla) ist
worin die Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt werden aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) Triorganosilylrest der Formel - SiRb 3 , worin die Reste Rb unabhängig voneinander C1-C20-Kohlenwasserstoffrest bedeuten, (ii) Wasserstoff, (iii) unsubstituierter oder substituierter C1-C20-
Kohlenwasserstoffrest, und (iv) unsubstituierter oder substituierter C1-C20-Kohlenwasserstoffoxyrest, wobei auch jeweils zwei Reste Ry miteinander einen monocyclischen oder polycyclischen C2-C20-Kohlenwasserstoffrest bilden können, und wobei substituiert jeweils meint, dass im
Kohlenwasserstoff- oder Kohlenwasserstoffoxyrest auch mindestens ein C-Atom durch ein Si-Atom ersetzt sein kann, Xa_ ein a wertiges Anion bedeutet und a die Werte 1, 2 oder 3 annehmen kann; und (ii) Silicium(IV)- und Germanium(IV)-Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel ( IV)
worin die Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt werden aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) Wasserstoff und (ii) C1- C50-Kohlenwasserstoffrest; und worin die Reste Z unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus Silicium(IV) oder Germanium(IV); und worin der Rest Y einen zweibindigen C2-C50-
Kohlenwasserstoffrest bezeichnet; und worin der Index a die Werte 1, 2 oder 3 annimmt; und worin Xa' ein a wertiges Anion bedeutet.
5. Verfahren nach Anspruch 4, wobei der Index a in Formel (III) und (IV) den Wert 1 annimmt und x- unabhängig voneinander ein einwertiges Anion bedeutet.
6. Verfahren nach Anspruch 5, wobei in Formel (III) und
Formel (IV) die Anionen X- ausgewählt werden aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) [B(SiCl3)4]‘ und (ii) den Verbindungen der Formeln [B(Ra)4]· und [Al(Ra)4]-, worin die Reste Ra jeweils unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt werden aus aromatischer C6-C14-Kohlenwasserstoffrest, bei dem mindestens ein Wasserstoffatom unabhängig voneinander durch einen Rest ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) Fluor, (ii) perfluorierter C1-C6-Alkylrest, und (iii) Triorganosilylrest der Formel - SiRb 3, worin die Reste Rb unabhängig voneinander C1-C20-Alkylrest bedeuten, substituiert ist.
7. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1-6, wobei die kationische Silicium- und/oder Germaniumverbindung ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i)
Silicium(II)- und Germanium(II)-Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (III), in denen die Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt werden aus der Gruppe bestehend aus Methylrest, Wasserstoff und Trimethylsilylrest, und das Anion x- ausgewählt wird aus der Gruppe bestehend aus
[B(SiCI3)4]-, [B(C6F5)4]-, {B[C6F4 (4-TBS)]4}- mit TBS =
SiMe2tert-Butyl, [B(2~NaphF)4] - mit 2-NaphF = perfluorierter 2-Naphthylrest; und (ii) Silicium(IV)- und Germanium(IV)- Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (IV), bei denen die Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) C1-C6-Alkylrest und (ii)
Phenylrest, und bei denen der Rest Y ein 1,8- Naphthalindiyl-Rest ist, und bei denen die Reste Z
unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus Silicium(IV) oder Germanium(IV) und bei denen das Anion X- ausgewählt wird aus der Gruppe bestehend aus [B(C6F5)4] - und [B(SiCl3)4]- .
8. Kationische Silicium- und/oder Germaniumverbindung ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (a) Silicium(II)- und Germanium(II)-Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (III')
[M(II)Cp]+ [B(SiCl3)4] - (III'), worin M ausgewählt ist aus Germanium oder Silicium, und Cp ein p-gebundener Cyclopentadienylrest der allgemeinen Formel (Ill’a) ist
worin die Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt werden aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) Triorganosilylrest der
Formel - SiRb3, worin die Reste Rb unabhängig voneinander C1-C20-Kohlenwasserstoffrest bedeuten, (ii) Wasserstoff,
(iii) unsubstituierter oder substituierter C1-C20- Kohlenwasserstoffrest, und (iv) unsubstituierter oder substituierter C1-C20-Kohlenwasserstoffoxyrest, wobei auch jeweils zwei Reste Ry miteinander einen monocyclischen oder polycyclischen C2-C20-Kohlenwasserstoffrest bilden können, und wobei substituiert jeweils meint, dass im
Kohlenwasserstoff- oder Kohlenwasserstoffoxyrest auch mindestens ein C-Atom durch ein Si-Atom ersetzt sein kann; und (b) Silicium(IV)- und Germanium(IV)-Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (IV')
worin die Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt werden aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) Wasserstoff und (ii) C1- C50-Kohlenwasserstoffrest; und worin die Reste Z unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus Silicium(IV) oder Germanium(IV); und worin der Rest Y einen zweibindigen C2-C50- Kohlenwasserstoffrest bezeichnet.
9. Kationische Silicium- und/oder Germaniumverbindung nach Anspruch 8 ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (a) Silicium(II)- und Germanium(II)-Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (III'), bei denen in Formel (Ill'a) die
Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt werden aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) C1-C3-Alkylrest, (ii) Wasserstoff und (iii) Triorganosilylrest der Formel -SiRb3, worin die Reste Rb unabhängig voneinander C1-C2o-Alkylrest bedeuten, und (b) Silicium(IV)- und Germanium(IV)-Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (IV'), bei denen die Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) C1-C12-Alkylrest und (ii) Phenylrest, und bei denen der Rest Y ein 1,8-Naphthalindiyl-Rest ist, und bei denen die
Reste Z unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus Silicium oder Germanium.
10. Kationische Silicium- und/oder Germaniumverbindung nach Anspruch 8 oder 9 ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus
(a) Silicium(II)-Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel
(III'), bei denen in Formel (Ill'a) die Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander C1-C3-Alkylrest bedeuten,
(b) Germanium(II)-Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel
(III'), bei denen in Formel (Ill'a) die Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) C1-C3-Alkylrest, (ii) Wasserstoff und (iii) Triorganosilylrest der Formel -SiRb 3, worin die Reste Rb unabhängig voneinander C1-C4-Alkylrest bedeuten, und
(c) Silicium(IV)- und Germanium(IV)-Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (IV'), bei denen die Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) C1-C4-Alkylrest und (ii) Phenylrest, und bei denen der Rest Y ein 1,8-Naphthalindiyl-Rest ist, und bei denen die Reste Z unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus Silicium(IV) oder Germanium(IV).
11. Kationische Silicium- und/oder Germaniumverbindung nach einem der Ansprüche 8-10 ausgewählt aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (a) Silicium(II)-Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (III'), bei denen in Formel (Ill'a) alle Reste Ry identisch sind und ein C1-C3-Alkylrest sind, (b) Germanium(II)-Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (III'), bei denen in Formel (Ill'a) die Reste Ry (i) alle identisch sind und ein C1-C3-Alkylrest sind, oder (ii) unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (ii.i) Wasserstoff und (ii.ii) Triorganosilylrest der Formel -SiRb 3, worin die Reste Rb
unabhängig voneinander C1-C4-Alkylrest bedeuten, mit der Maßgabe, dass 1 bis 4 Reste Ry ein Triorganosilylrest sind, und (c) Silicium(IV)- und Germanium(IV)-Verbindungen der Formel ( IV' ) , bei denen die Reste Ry unabhängig voneinander ausgewählt sind aus der Gruppe bestehend aus (i) unverzweigter C1-C4-Alkylrest und (ii) Phenylrest, mit der Maßgabe, dass mindestens zwei der Reste Ry identisch sind, und bei denen der Rest Y ein 1, 8-Naphthalindiyl-Rest ist, und bei denen die Reste Z identisch sind und ausgewählt sind aus Silicium(IV) oder Germanium (IV).
12. Verwendung der kationischen Silicium- und
Germaniumverbindungen nach einem der Ansprüche 8 bis 11 als Katalysator.
