Description

ELECTRONIC COAL SYSTEM
Technical Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to an electronic coal system that may be positioned on the tobacco product located on the bowl portion in smoking accessories known as hookahs. The present invention discloses the technical embodiment of the inventive electronic coal system.
State of the Art
Hookah is an accessory used by humans for the purpose of smoking tobacco products, that comprises of a wide base portion shaped as a glass jug, a bowl and a hookah hose and that allows for smoking a type of tobacco product called mu'assel (shisha/fruit, etc. flavored tobacco) subsequent to being passed through the base portion containing water.
Flammable materials are used in hookahs and similar accessories available commercially as well as in the state of the art. Tobacco products consumed through hookahs are generally heated with coal. Hookah users inhale 2.94 mg of nicotine, 802 mg of tar and 145 mg of carbon monoxide while the hookah coal is burning. Furthermore, since coal is utilized as a heating source, aromas containing polycyclic hydrocarbons pose detrimental and harmful effects. The aforementioned amounts which pertain to a single consumption of hookah constitute significant hazards for human health.
Various electric hookah embodiments have been developed in order to eliminate the aforementioned disadvantages existing in the state of the art. Turkish Utility Model application numbered TR2018/14547 discloses an electronic bowl with IR resistance, wherein tobacco product is placed into the hookah. This particular embodiment is characterized by comprising; IR resistance that allows for heating the tobacco product through electrical energy, a tobacco container in which tobacco product is inserted, a body portion that allows for positioning system components therein, a filter that allows for cleansing the smoke generated due to burning of the tobacco product, and a stem tube that allows for positioning the bowl portion on the shaft of the hookah.
Turkish Utility Model application numbered TR2018/14181 discloses an embodiment pertaining to an electric hookah burner that enables preparing hookah coals. Said product, in order to provide ease of use for the users, comprises; a pair of tongs that allows the user to stir and arrange the coals, an upper attachment groove located on the burner that enables the user to attach said pair of tongs by means of clamping it manually and to release it therefrom again by means of clamping it manually, and a lower attachment groove located on the body portion that enables the user to attach the pair of tongs by means of clamping it manually and to release it therefrom by once again clamping it manually.
The inventive electric coal system is completely different from the aforementioned structures, and it is an electronic device positioned on the bowl portion.
Turkish Utility Model application numbered TR2016/03505 discloses a grid structure for a hookah bowl, wherein said grid filters the smoke generated through the burning tobacco product. However, there is no need for such a grid component in hookah configurations in which the inventive electronic coal system is utilized.
Turkish Utility Model application was determined as a result of the search conducted for coal plate structures available in the state of the art. Said application discloses a coal plate in which the coal required for smoking hookah, is heated and/or carried to a closer location for positioning heated coals to the hookah. Said coal plate comprises of an electrical cable port that enables conducting electrical energy to resistances, an upper grid on which coals to be lit are positioned, resistance for burning the coals through heat which are positioned on the upper grid and a handle/grip that allows the user to carry the coal plate to a desired location.
However, the inventive electronic coal system comprises no electrical cables, as the inventive system operates with batteries. Thus, any potential safety issues that may arise due to tripping or stumbling on cables are eliminated. Furthermore, the heat adjustment mechanism of the inventive electronic coal system is another technical component that provides novelty.
Turkish Utility Model application numbered TR2010/02959 discloses an electric hookah that allows for heating the tobacco product located inside a bowl comprising resistance heated by means of electrical energy without utilizing ember coals. Said invention comprises a buffer portion positioned to the upper portion of the bowl so as to function as a buffer between the tobacco product placed into the bowl and resistance in order to prevent the tobacco product from blazing up and accordingly from spoiling flavors thereof. The inventive electronic coal system differs from the aforementioned application as it aims to solve the problems existing in the related technique by means of offering a completely different solution through a different technical embodiment.
Chinese Utility Model application bearing the publication number of CN203873001(U) discloses an electronic hookah that comprises a water container with an air inlet and air outlet, an atomization component used for generating smoke and a battery component. Herein, the atomization component is detachably arranged on the air inlet, and electric heating wire used for atomizing tobacco tar and a glass fiber line used for conveying the tobacco tar to the electric heating wire to be atomized are arranged in the atomization component. The aforementioned invention utilizes an electric heating wire and glass fiber; however, such embodiments will become obsolete by means of the inventive electronic coal system. Thus, not only the additional equipment costs are precluded but also potential safety issues are avoided.
The inventor aimed to develop a novel electronic coal system having a different technical embodiment in order to overcome the aforementioned disadvantages and to eliminate inefficiencies in the state of the art.
Brief Description of the Invention
