Abstract
This present invention is a simple one unit bag made of plastic material to collect animal/dog excrement. Using the same material the upper portion of the bag is surrounded to form a skirt like part also call hand protector. A flexible circular shape or ring that supports two bifurcated elongated straps. A ring holder that covers 80 to 90% of the ring while maintaining the whole unit in place. The portion of the ring left uncovered and the two extremities of the ring holder enclose harmoniously the animals/dogs tail. This is the initial attachment point that partially secures the bag. The two elongated straps that travel the groin area from the posterior legs are positioned to form a 30 degree angle.
Description
ANIMAL WASTE BAG
Description
This is a continuation application for a one unit bag serial number 15/643,216, file 07/06/2017.
Background of the invention
This present invention has always been a one unit single bag invented to promote environmental cleanliness, to facilitate four legged animals owner. It functions is to capture animal excrement. It is a disposable waste bag for four-legged animal particularly dogs would carry the bag without any discomfort sensation.
Description of the related art having a dog is the first animal comes to mind when thinking of having a pet. It is the pet that mostly goes out with the owner to defecate in public places, which leaves the responsibility of cleaning up to the owner. There are many devices to capture dogs excrement, however the question we must ask ourselves are these devices convenient for the animals/dogs?
US Patent No. 4,444,152 (Berardo) has some level of similarity with US Patent No. 3,817,217 (Matuka, et al). Both of these inventions introduce a combination of harness and excrement receptacle. Buckles and straps are used to isolate the excrement receptacle. The question we must ask ourselves are these devices easy to handle or manage?
US Patent No 4,156,402 (Naizat) discloses a device which is to be tied to the animal to isolate the excrement receptacle and US Patent No 3,656,459 (Missud) discloses a yieldable embracing harness. The question we must ask are there any potentiality of misalignment of the waste receptacle with respect to the anus of the animal/dog?
US Patent No. 5,315,960 (H.W.Lamp) has an elastic harness assembly.
Patent from DEUTSCHES: description DE 29718673 is an excrement collection device that uses adhesive coated belt and elastic bands at each support sleeve. The graph leaves the impression of a partially disposable device. Nevertheless, we need to ask ourselves would the use of elastic harness, elastic bands promote comfort to the animals/dogs?
After carefully analyzing each and every prior art it is fair to mention that although the related arts vary from simple to complex, they are all simple and sophisticated non disposable belts inventions that encompass a disposable bag.
Summary of the invention
This present invention is a simple one unit bag made of plastic material to collect animal /dog excrement. The two elongated straps that travel the groin area from the posterior legs are positioned to form a 30° angle primarily to prevent the straps from interfering with the genital area of the animal. Secondly, to prevent the straps from being spoiled.
The straps are joined on the dorsal region of the animal and continue to rest on the initial attachment point. This is the final attachment point.
The distal end of the straps are coated with adhesive as well as one side of the ring holder.
It is important to mention that when the attachment process is completed, all pressure, tension, discomfort sensation are eliminated because the bag support itself.
Brief description of the drawings
A more complete understanding of the invention may be obtained from the detailed description that follows.
Figure 1A is a perspective view of the dorsal region in which the two elongated straps are joined then bifurcated to rest each on the side of the ring holder that encloses the tail.
Figure 1 B is an exploded view of the elongated straps after traveling the groin area, our joined then supported by the upper thigh, continue on to rest each on the side of the ring holder that encloses the tail.
Figure 2-3-4 are different angles perspectives view of the disposable animal/dog excrement receptacle. The bag and hand protector, the elongated straps, the flexible ring and ring holder are well defined.
Figure 5-6 showcase the attachment point of the ring holder.
Figure 7 is the view of this single unit after the attachment process is completed.
Figure 8 displays the internal view of the bag and the flexible ring.
Figure 9 is the bottom of the disposable animal/dog excrement bag.
Detailed description of the preferred embodiment
Referring now to figure 1A there is shown the dorsal region of the dog with the elongated straps at their attachment points (16) (17) and the ring holder view after enclosing the tail (14) (15).
Figure 1B A elongated straps that is supported by a haunch of a dog (16) and the lateral view of the hand protector (3).
Figure 2-3-4 there are shown all the views/angles of the animal/dog excrement receptacle. The bag (2) the hand protector (3) elongated straps (16) (17). The coated adhesive at the two extremities of the elongated straps (26) (28). The ring holder which covers 80 to 90% of the ring and the two extremities of the ring holder (14) (15) only one extremity is adhesive coated (25).
Figure 5 displays the attachment point of the ring holder (15) where the adhesive coated process is incomplete (25)
Figure 6 is shown the end of the ring holder attachment process. When the attachment process is completed only (14) is evident.
Figure 7 the view of the single unit material after attachment points are well secured at their respective positions
NB: (14) and (15) are no longer apparent.
Figure 8 is shown the internal view of the bags as well as the flexible ring Figure 9 is shown the bottom of the bag (two)
It should be understood that few adjustments can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
