Abstract
본 발명은 다공성구조를 성형하기 위한 생분해성 PLA필라멘트 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일실시 예에 따른 다공성구조를 성형하기 위한 생분해성 PLA필라멘트 조성물은 폴리락트산(Poly Lactic Acid; PLA) 50 내지 60 중량%; 폴리부틸렌숙시네이트(PlolyButylene Succinate; PBS) 20 내지 30 중량%, 폴리부틸렌 아디페이트 테레프탈레이트(PolyButylene Adipate Terephthalate; PBAT) 7 내지 9 중량%; 첨가제 0.1 내지 1 중량%; 결정화 핵제(crystallization) 0.1 내지 1 중량%; 천연제 자몽씨 파우더(Jamongci_genu Pectin Type) 0.1 내지 2 중량%; 무기 충진제 1 내지 10 중량%; 가교제 0.001 내지 10 중량%를 포함한다.
Description
본 발명은 다공성구조를 성형하기 위한 생분해성 PLA필라멘트 조성물에 관한 것이다. 더욱 상세하게는 3D 프린터를 이용하여 3차원 다공성 구조로 성형 후 저온에서도 추가적 성형이 용이하고, 상기 추가적 성형을 하더라도 물성변화가 거의 없어 안정된 물성을 제공하기 위한 생분해성 PLA필라멘트 조성물에 관한 것이다.
지금까지 폴리젖산이나 지방산폴리에스테르 등의 생분해성 수지나 전분 등의 천연 소재를 주성분으로 하는 수많은 생분해성 수지나 생분해성 조성물이 제안되고, 이들의 생분해성 수지나 생분해성 조성물을 이용한 생분해성 가공품이 제공되어 있다.
예컨대 일본 특허 공개 평7-17571호 공보(특허문헌 1)에는, 전분을 주된 성분으로 하고, 식물성 섬유 및/또는 단백질을 가하여 발포 성형한 생분해성 완충재가 개시되어 있다. 또한, 일본 특허 공개 제2005-119708호 공보(특허문헌 2)에는, 전분 및 폴리올, 단당 또는 올리고당, 단백질을 배합한 생분해성 수지 조성물이 개시되어 있다. 일본 특허 공개 평5-320401호(특허문헌 3)에는 밀가루와 전분, 셀룰로오스 등을 배합하여, 발포 소성한 생분해성 성형품이 개시되어 있다.
그러나 전분 등의 천연 소재를 이용한 경우에는 내수성이 충분하지 않은 경우가 많고, 강도적으로도 부족한 경향이 있었다. 이 때문에, 예컨대 일본 특허 공개 평5-278738호 공보(특허문헌 4)나 일본 특허 공개 평5-57833호 공보(특허문헌 5), 일본 특허 공개 제2002-355932호 공보(특허문헌 6)에는 각각 생분해성 조성물로부터 성형한 가공품 표면에, 내수용 수지를 코팅하는 방법이 개시되어 있지만, 이 방법은 코팅을 새로 실시해야 하여, 공정수가 많아져 버린다.
한편, 내충격성이나 내열성을 향상시킨 생분해성 조성물로서, 예컨대 일본 특허 공개 평6-248040호 공보(특허문헌 7)에는, 페놀류와 설탕, 전분으로 이루어지는 조성물이 개시되어 있다. 이 조성물은 페놀류와 설탕의 반응에 의한 수지 형성을 응용한 것이다. 또한, 일본 특허 공개 제2004-137726호 공보(특허문헌 8)에는, 전분과 타닌 또는 폴리페놀, 더 나아가서는 단백질 및 광물 분쇄 분말에 타닌 또는 폴리페놀과 킬레이트 매염 효과를 갖는 2가 금속 분말로 이루어지는 생분해성 자갈 제품용 조성물이 개시되어 있다. 그러나 이 조성물은 금속염과 폴리페놀의 축합화합물을 전분에 담지시킨 것으로서, 2가의 금속염이 이용되고 있기 때문에 식기 등의 용도에는 바람직하지 않다. 또한, 여기서 이용되고 있는 타닌, 폴리페놀류는, 감물이나 차의 타닌, 수피 타닌 등의 축합형 타닌으로서, 자갈의 대체품으로는 적합하지만, 축합형 타닌과 2가의 금속염을 이용하고 있기 때문에 강도가 너무 높아져 식기 등의 가공품에는 적합하지 않다. 그리고 금속염이 이용되고 있기 때문에, 분해된 후에 이들의 금속이 남아, 환경에 악영향을 부여할 가능성도 생각되었다.
일본 특허 공개 제2005-23262호 공보(특허문헌 9)에는, 옥수수 등의 곡류, 잡초 등의 식물 섬유, 설탕수수 등의 100% 천연 소재를 미세화한 주재료와, 감물이나 곤약 가루 등의 천연 바인더를 이용한 생분해성 조성물이 개시되어 있다. 그러나 구체적인 조성비가 불명하고, 현실적으로 제품으로 제조할 수 있는 지의 여부가 불명하다. 또한, 이 조성물은 곡물 등의 천연 소재만으로 구성되어 있기 때문에, 완성된 성형품의 품질이 담보되지 않아, 공업제품으로서는 부적당한 것이었다.
일본 특허 공표 평9-500924호 공보(특허문헌 10)에는, 전분과 단백질, 셀룰로오스, 페놀 및 타닌, 톨유나 왁스를 포함하는 생분해성 조성물이 개시되어 있다. 그러나 이 조성물은 톨유나 왁스를 포함하는 것이기 때문에, 왁스 등의 삼출이 걱정된다. 따라서, 목공품 등의 제작에는 적합하다고 해도, 식기 등의 가공품에 적용한 경우에 는 안전성의 관점에서 바람직하지 않은 문제를 일으킬 가능성이 있다.
본 발명의 목적은 강도, 탄성률 및 성형성이 뛰어난 PLA 생분해성 수지 조성물을 제조 하기 위한 다공성구조를 성형하기 위한 생분해성 PLA필라멘트 조성물를 제공하는 데 있다.

또한, 본 발명의 일실시 예에 따른 다공성구조를 성형하기 위한 생분해성 PLA필라멘트 조성물에 있어서, 상기 결정화 핵제는 방향족 술폰산염(aromatic sulfonate derivatives), 질화붕소(boron nitride), 나트륨 벤조산, 칼슘 벤조산, 3,4-디메틸벤질리덴솔비톨 및 1,2,3-트리데옥시-4,6:5,7-비스-O-[(4-프로필페닐)메틸렌]-노니톨, 중 어느 하나일 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명의 일실시 예에 따른 다공성구조를 성형하기 위한 생분해성 PLA필라멘트 조성물에 있어서, 상기 무기 충진제는 탈크, 탄산칼슘, 이산화티타늄, 황산칼슘, 산화마그네슘, 칼슘스테아레이트, 마이카, 실리카, 규산칼슘, 점토 및 카본블랙, 중 어느 하나일 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명의 일실시 예에 따른 다공성구조를 성형하기 위한 생분해성 PLA필라멘트 조성물에 있어서, 상기 가교제는 디큐밀 퍼옥사이드(DCP), 과산벤조일(BPO), 퍼부틸퍼옥사이드(PBP), 중 어느 하나일 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명의 일실시 예에 따른 다공성구조를 성형하기 위한 생분해성 PLA필라멘트 조성물에 있어서, 상기 첨가제는 슬립제, 가수분해 방지제, 산화 방지제, UV 안정제 및 가소제, 중 어느 하나일 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명의 일실시 예에 따른 다공성구조를 성형하기 위한 생분해성 PLA필라멘트 조성물에 있어서, PLA 필라멘트 조성물로부터 성형품이 제조될 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명의 일실시 예에 따른 다공성구조를 성형하기 위한 생분해성 PLA필라멘트 조성물에 있어서, 상기 성형품은 상기 PLA 필라멘트 조성물을 3D 프린팅하여 제조될 수 있다.
이러한 해결 수단은 첨부된 도면에 의거한 다음의 발명의 상세한 설명으로부터 더욱 명백해질 것이다.
이에 앞서, 본 명세서 및 청구범위에 사용된 용어나 단어는 통상적이고 사전적인 의미로 해석되어서는 아니 되며, 발명자가 그 자신의 발명을 가장 최선의 방법으로 설명하기 위해 용어의 개념을 적절하게 정의할 수 있다는 원칙에 입각하여 본 발명의 기술적 사상에 부합되는 의미와 개념으로 해석되어야만 한다.
본 발명의 일실시 예에 따르면, 본 발명에 의한 생분해성 수지 조성물을 압출기를 이용하여 혼련 및 압출하여 필라멘트로 제조 후, 상기 압출된 필라멘트를 3D 프린팅을 통해 제조할 경우 3차원의 다공성 구조를 가진 성형품으로 제조가 가능하다.
또한, 본 발명의 일실시 예에 따르면, 3D 프린팅을 통해 다공성 구조로 성형 후 55~70℃의 저온에서 추가적 성형이 용이하고, 상기 추가적 성형을 하더라도 변형이 최소화되어 깁스나 스프린트로 사용하기에 적합한 물성 제공이 가능하다.
또한, 본 발명의 일실시 예에 따르면, 본 발명에 의한 생분해성 수지 조성물을 압출기를 이용하여 혼련 및 압출하여 필라멘트로 제조 후, 상기 압출된 필라멘트를 3D 프린팅을 통해 다공성 구조로 제조한 성형품이 물성이 우수하여, 3D 프린팅을 통해 다공성 구조를 가진 생분해성 성형품의 대량생산이 용이하다는 특징을 제공한다.

이하, 본 발명의 일실시 예를 첨부된 도면에 의거하여 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다.
본 발명의 일실시 예에 따르면 PLA, PBS, PBAT, 첨가제, 결정화 핵제, 천연제 자몽씨 파우더, 무기 충진제를 포함하여 PLA 필라멘트 조성물을 포함한다.
(A) PLA (폴리락트산 ; Poly Lactic Acid)
본 발명에 사용되는 폴리락트산은 생분해성 수지 중 내열성이 양호하고 강도가 우수한 장점이 있고 성형 후 투명성이 우수하여 식품 포장 용기, 필름, 코팅제, 의료용 재료로까지 다양한 용도로 사용될 수 있다. 본 발명에서 사용되는 상기 폴리락트산의 중량평균 분자량(Mw)은 50,000 내지 150,000인 것일 수 있다.
또한 폴리락트산은 디-락타이드(D-Lactide) 및 엘-락타이드(L-Lactide)으로부터 유래된 모노머로부터 중합되어 제조되므로 디-락타이드(D-Lactide) 및 엘-락타이드(L-Lactide)의 함량을 자유롭게 조절할 수 있어, 용도에 따라 각각의 성분 함량조절이 가능하다. 본 발명의 목적을 달성하기 위해, 디-락타이드(D-Lactide) 함량이 1 내지 5중량%로 존재하는 결정형 폴리락트산과 디-락타이드(D-Lactide) 함량이 9중량% 이상인 무정형 폴리락트산을 혼용하여 사용하는 것이 바람직하다.
본 발명의 조성물에서 상기 폴리락트산은 50 내지 60 중량%로 포함되는 것이 바람직할 수 있다. 본 발명에서 상기 폴리락트산의 함량이 50 중량% 미만인 경우 성형성의 저하 및 3D 프린팅으로 사출하는데 어려움이 있고, 상기 폴리락트산의 함량이 60 중량%를 초과하는 경우 강도가 저하될 수 있다.
(B) PBS (폴리부틸렌숙시네이트 ; PlolyButylene Succinate)
본 발명에 사용되는 폴리부틸렌숙시네이트는 숙신산(succinic acid)을 기반으로 합성되는 폴리에스테르계의 열가소성 고분자로, 생분해성이 우수한 지방족 폴리에스테르 화합물질이다. PBS는 융점이 비교적 높아 가공성이 우수할 뿐 아니라 생분해성이 뛰어나 폴리에틸렌, 폴리프로필렌의 대체 수지로 개발되고 있다. 우수한 생분해성 특성으로 인해 환경 친화적이고 분해 가능한 플라스틱 제품, 농업용 필름, 일회용 의료 용품, 생체 고분자 재료, 포장 재료, 일회용 식기, 화장품 병, 바이오 섬유, 바이오 발포 재료, 바이오 부직포 재료를 생산하는 용도 등에 사용될 수 있다. 본 발명에서 사용되는 상기 폴리부틸렌숙시네이트의 중량평균 분자량(Mw)은 70,000 내지 250,000인 것일 수 있다.
본 발명의 조성물에서 상기 폴리부틸렌숙시네이트는 20 내지 30 중량%로 포함되는 것이 바람직할 수 있다. 본 발명에서 폴리부틸렌숙시네이트가 20 중량% 미만인 경우 탄성이 저하될 수 있고, 폴리부틸렌숙시네이트가 30 중량% 초과인 경우 과도하게 물러지는 문제점이 발생할 수 있다.

본 발명에 사용되는 폴리부틸렌 아디페이트 테레프탈레이트는 폴리부틸렌숙시네이트와 같이 석유계의 폴리머로, 축중합으로 합성되는 지방족 방향족 공중합 폴리에스터이며, 생분해성이 우수하다는 특징을 지닌다. 폴리락트산은 생분해성이나 인체 적합성이 우수하나 잘 깨어지는 문제점을 지니고 있으므로, 폴리락트산 대비 고가이나 유연성이 높기 때문에 폴리락트산과 블렌딩하여 생분해가 가능한 플라스틱 제품, 농업용 필름, 포장 재료를 생산하는 용도 등에 사용될 수 있다. 본 발명에서 사용되는 상기 폴리부틸렌 아디페이트 테레프탈레이트의 중량평균 분자량(Mw)은 50,000 내지 200,000인 것일 수 있다.
본 발명의 조성물에서 상기 폴리부틸렌 아디페이트 테레프탈레이트는 7 내지 9 중량%로 포함되는 것이 바람직할 수 있다. 본 발명에서 폴리부틸렌 아디페이트 테레프탈레이트가 7 중량% 미만인 경우 충분한 성형성을 확보하기 어려울 수 있고, 물성이 저하될 수 있으며, 폴리부틸렌 아디페이트 테레프탈레이트가 9 중량% 초과인 경우 탄성률 등의 물성이 저하될 수 있다.
(D) 결정화 핵제 (crystallization)
본 발명에서 상기 결정화 핵제는 상기 폴리락트산 및/또는 폴리카프로락톤의 결정성을 향상시켜 내열성을 증대시키기는 역할을 하는 것으로, 본 발명에서 상기 결정화 핵제로는 당 분야에 알려진 통상적인 성분을 사용할 수 있으나, 예를 들면, 방향족 술폰산염(aromatic sulfonate derivatives), 질화붕소(boron nitride), 나트륨 벤조산, 칼슘 벤조산, 3,4-디메틸벤질리덴솔비톨 및 1,2,3-트리데옥시-4,6:5,7-비스-O-[(4-프로필페닐)메틸렌]-노니톨 등과 같은 노니톨 계 핵제로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상일 수 있고, 상기 핵제의 구체적인 예로는, 포스페이트계에서는 Adeka Mark NA-11, 솔비톨계에서는 Mitsui Toatsu NC-4, Milliken Millad 3988, 알루미늄계에서는 Shell GB (AL-PTBBA) 등이 대표적 물질이다.
본 발명의 조성물에서 상기 결정화 핵제는 0.1 내지 1 중량%의 양으로 포함될 수 있다. 본 발명에서 상기 결정화 핵제의 함량이 0.1 중량% 미만인 경우에는 결정화 온도의 상승이나 결정화 속도의 향상을 기대하지 못하여 3D 프린팅을 통한 성형품의 제조하는 과정에서 성형이 불가한 문제점과 어느 정도 성형이 되더라도 내열성이 취약한 문제점이 있을 수 있으며, 상기 결정화 핵제의 함량이 1 중량%를 초과하는 경우에는 결정화 속도의 증가 효과가 미비하며, 수지전체의 가격 상승을 초래하여 경제성이 좋지 않은 문제점이 있다.
(E) 무기 충진제
본 발명에서 상기 무기 충전제는 본 발명의 수지 조성물을 이용하여 성형품을 제작하는 과정에서 성형가공성 및 강도를 개선하는 역할을 수행하며, 이의 비제한적인 예로는 상기 무기 충진제는 탈크, 탄산칼슘, 이산화티타늄, 황산칼슘, 산화마그네슘, 칼슘스테아레이트, 마이카, 실리카, 규산칼슘, 점토 및 카본블랙으로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상일 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명의 조성물에서 상기 무기 충전제는 1 내지 10 중량%로 포함될 수 있다. 상기 무기 충전제의 함량이 1 중량% 미만인 경우에는 성형 가공성의 개선이 어려운 문제점이 있고, 상기 무기 충전제의 함량이 10 중량%를 초과하는 경우에는 성형물의 역학적 성질이 저하되는 문제점이 있을 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명에서 상기 무기 충전제는 0.5 내지 35 ㎛의 평균 입도를 갖는 것이 바람직하다. 본 발명에서 상기 무기 충전제의 평균 입도가 0.5 ㎛ 미만인 경우 입자의 분산이 어려울 수 있고, 상기 무기 충전제의 평균 입도가 35 ㎛를 초과하는 경우 입자가 지나치게 커서 혼화성이 떨어질 수 있다.
(F) 가교제
본 발명에서 상기 가교제로는 유기 과산화물이 바람직한 바, 구체적으로 상기 가교제는 디큐밀 퍼옥사이드(DCP), 과산벤조일(BPO), 퍼부틸퍼옥사이드(PBP)로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상일 수 있으나, 이에 제한되는 것은 아니다.
본 발명의 조성물에서 상기 가교제는 0.001 내지 10 중량%의 양으로 포함될 수 있다. 본 발명에서 상기 가교제의 함량이 0.001 중량% 미만인 경우에는 가교 반응의 개시가 되지 않는 문제가 있고, 상기 가교제의 함량이 10 중량%를 초과하는 경우에는 가교도 지나치게 높아 열경화성을 띄어 가공 시 문제가 있다.
(G) 첨가제
본 발명의 조성물은 통상의 첨가제 예를 들어 슬립제, 가수분해 방지제, 산화 방지제, UV 안정제 및 가소제 등을 본 발명의 목적을 손상시키지 않는 범위에서 더 첨가하여 배합할 수 있다.
본 발명의 조성물에서 상기 첨가제는 0.1 내지 1 중량%의 양으로 포함되는 것이 바람직하고, 첨가제의 함량이 0.1중량% 미만인 경우 가령 성형품의 내산화성, 내열성 등이 취약해지는 등 목적하는 첨가 효과를 얻을 수 없고, 상기 첨가제의 함량이 1중량%를 초과하는 경우 강성 등이 떨어질 수 있고, 첨가제 가격이 통상 고가인지라 경제성이 나빠질 우려가 있다.
(H) 천연제 자몽씨 파우더(Jamongci_genu Pectin Powder Type)
본 발명에서 제조되는 성형품의 용도에 따라 상기 천연제 자몽씨 파우더는 추가로 첨가시킬 수 있다. 천연제 자몽씨 파우더는 목적하는 색깔을 내기 위하여 적정한 양으로 첨가되는 안료이며, 3D 프린팅을 하더라도 원하는 색깔을 내기 위해 천연제 자몽씨 파우더를 선택하여 사용될 수 있으며, 천연제 자몽씨 파우더 이외에 통상의 안료를 대체하여 사용될 수 있다.
본 발명의 조성물에서 상기 천연제 자몽씨 파우더는 0.1 내지 2 중량%의 양으로 포함되는 것이 바람직하나 상기 천연제 자몽씨 파우더의 양은 특별히 제안하지 않는다.
이상 본 발명에서 상기한 성분을 포함하여 3D 프린팅 장치를 통해 조성물을 조성할 수 있으며, 셀룰로오스 나노 입자를 넣고 3D 프린팅 장치를 통해 조성물을 조정할 수 있으나, 셀룰로오스 나노 입자를 첨가하게 되면 물성이 저하되는 문제점이 발생하여 상기한 셀룰로오스 나노 입자는 첨가하지 않는 것이 바람직하다.
본 발명에서 상기 "중량%"라 함은 각 성분들 간의 혼합 비율을 의미하는 것이다.
본 발명의 일실시 예에 따르면, 본 발명의 PLA 필라멘트 조성물은 3D 프린팅을 통해 압출하여 성형품을 제조할 수 있다.
여기서 성형품이라 함은 다양한 제품을 성형할 수 있으며, 일례로 의료용 깁스, 자동차 내·외장재, 다용도 수납함, 냉장·냉동 식품 저장용 제품, 투명시트, 화장품 용기, 식료 저장용 제품, 치아 보철물 등에 제한 없이 이용될 수 있으며, 바람직하게는 가정 용품 및 투명 용구류에 이용될 수 있다. 보다 구체적으로는, 냉장 용기, 냉동 용기, 다용도 수납함, 자동차 내외장재, 식품 포장 용기, 병마개, 포장용 필름, 보호필름, 데코시트, 레토르트 파우치, 의약 용기, 또는 입출중공 성형품일 수 있으며, 하기한 실험예에 따라 의료용 깁스에 특히 적합성을 이루어 사용될 수 있다.
이하 본 발명을 하기의 실시예에 의해 상세히 설명한다. 단, 하기 실시예는 본 발명을 예시하는 것일 뿐, 본 발명의 내용이 하기 실시예에 의해 한정되는 것은 아니다.
실시예 1 : PLA 필라멘트 조성물의 제조
이축혼련압출기(Φ: 40㎜, L/D = 40)를 사용하여 폴리락트산(Poly Lactic Acid ; PLA), 폴리부틸렌숙시네이트(PlolyButylene Succinate ; PBS), 폴리부틸렌 아디페이트 테레프탈레이트(PolyButylene Adipate Terephthalate ; PBAT), 첨가제, 결정화 핵제, 천연제 자몽씨 파우더, 무기 충진제, 가교제를 하기 표 1에 나타난 함량으로 균일하게 혼련 및 압출하여 펠렛을 제조하고, 상기 제조된 펠렛을 사출기를 이용하여 사출온도 150℃에서 사출하여 시험편을 제조하였다.

실시예 2 : PLA 필라멘트 조성물의 제조
이축혼련압출기(Φ: 40㎜, L/D = 40)를 사용하여 폴리락트산(Poly Lactic Acid ; PLA), 폴리부틸렌숙시네이트(PlolyButylene Succinate ; PBS), 폴리부틸렌 아디페이트 테레프탈레이트(PolyButylene Adipate Terephthalate ; PBAT), 첨가제, 결정화 핵제, 천연제 자몽씨 파우더, 무기 충진제, 가교제를 하기 표 2에 나타난 함량으로 균일하게 혼련 및 압출하여 필라멘트를 제조하고, 상기 제조된 필라멘트를 3D 프린터를 이용하여 프린팅하여 시험편을 제조하였다.

실험예 1 : 상기 실시예 1에 따라 제조된 성형품은 압출기를 이용하여 제조된 펠렛을 150℃의 온도에서 사출기를 이용하여 시험편을 제조하였고, 사출 후 추가적 성형없는 상태로 물성을 측정하였으며, 하기 표 3에 나타내었다.
실험예 2 : 상기 실시예 1에 따라 제조된 성형품은 압출기를 이용하여 제조된 펠렛을 150℃의 온도에서 사출기를 이용하여 시험편을 제조한 후 대략 60℃로 가열된 온수에 담그는 추가적 성형을 가한 이후의 물성을 측정하였으며, 하기 표 3에 나타내었다. 하기 표 3에 나타난 바와 같이 본 발명의 조성물을 사용하는 경우 대략 60℃의 저온에서도 성형성이 매우 뛰어나며, 1차적 사출 후에도 상기와 같은 저온에서 추가적 성형이 가능하고, 추가적 성형을 통해 결정화가 진행되어 아이조드충격강도(J/m)가 크게 증가하여 깁스나 스프린트 사용에 적합한 물성을 갖게 되는 것을 알 수 있었다.
실험예 3 : 상기 실시예 2에 따라 제조된 성형품은 압출기를 이용하여 혼련 및 압출된 필라멘트를 3D 프린터를 이용하여 3차원 형상을 가지는 시험편을 제조하였고, 상기 제조된 시험편의 물성을 측정하였으며, 하기 표 4에 나타내었다.
실험예 4 : 상기 실시예 2에 따라 제조된 성형품은 압출기를 이용하여 혼련 및 압출된 필라멘트를 3D 프린터를 이용하여 3차원 형상을 가지는 시험편을 제조한 후 대략 55℃로 가열된 온수에 담그는 추가적 성형을 가한 이후의 시험편의 물성을 측정하였으며, 하기 표 4에 나타내었다. 하기 표 4에 나타난 바와 같이 본 발명의 조성물을 사용하는 경우 대략 55℃의 저온에서도 성형성이 매우 뛰어나며, 1차적 3D 프린팅 3차원 사출 후에도 상기와 같은 저온에서 추가적 성형이 가능하고, 추가적 성형을 통해 편차가 적은 물성을 갖게 됨으로써 깁스나 스프린트 사용에 적합한 물성을 갖게 되는 것을 알 수 있었다.
실험예 5 : 상기 실시예 2에 따라 제조된 성형품은 압출기를 이용하여 혼련 및 압출된 필라멘트를 3D 프린터를 이용하여 3차원 형상을 가지는 시험편을 제조한 후 대략 70℃로 가열된 온수에 담그는 추가적 성형을 가한 이후의 시험편의 물성을 측정하였으며, 하기 표 4에 나타내었다. 하기 표 4에 나타난 바와 같이 본 발명의 조성물을 사용하는 경우 대략 70℃의 저온에서도 성형성이 매우 뛰어나며, 1차적 3D 프린팅 3차원 사출 후에도 상기와 같은 저온에서 추가적 성형이 가능하고, 추가적 성형을 통해 편차가 적은 물성을 갖게 됨으로써 깁스나 스프린트 사용에 적합한 물성을 갖게 되는 것을 알 수 있었다.
1. 충격강도 측정
ASTM D256-10(2018)(A법)에 의거하여 측정용 시편을 만들어 아이조드 충격기(Impact Tester, Toyoseiki)를 사용, 충격강도 값을 측정하였다.
2. 인장강도 측정
ASTM D638-14에 의거하여, 측정용 시편을 만들어 만능재료시험기(Universal Testing Machine, Zwick Roell Z010)를 사용하여 인장 강도 및 인장 탄성률을 측정하였다. 단, 인장 강도 측정 시 시험 속도는 5 mm/min, 탄성율 측정 시 시험 속도는 1 mm/min이고, 시험편은 Type 1으로 하여 수행하였다.
3. 시험편의 온도변화 및 결정화되는 온도에 따른 굴곡특성 측정
ASTM D790-17에 의거하여, 측정용 시편을 만들어 만능재료시험기(Universal Testing Machine, Zwick Roell Z010)를 사용하여 굴곡 강도 및 굴곡 탄성률을 측정하였다. 단, 측정 시 시험 속도는 1.4 mm/min, 지지간 거리는 50 mm로 하여 수행하였다.

상기 표 3에서 보는 바와 같이, 본 발명에 따라 제조된 성형품은 추가 결정화가 진행되지 않은 실험예 1의 데이터보다 성형품을 결정화한 실험예 2의 인장 강도, 충격 강도, 굴곡 강도가 향상된 것을 알 수 있으며, 특히 충격강도가 40에서 371로 향상된 것으로 보아 성형품의 강도가 매우 높은 것을 알 수 있다. 또한 대략 60℃의 저온에서도 성형성이 매우 우수하며, 1차적 사출 후에도 상기와 같은 저온에서 추가적인 성형이 가능한 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서, 본 발명에 따른 조성물은 압출기를 이용하여 혼련 및 압출한 펠렛을 150℃의 사출온도에서 사출기를 이용하여 사출한 후 3D 프린팅을 통해 성형품을 제조하게 되면 대략 60℃의 저온에서 성형성이 뛰어날 뿐만 아니라, 상기 저온에서의 추가적 성형을 통해 결정화도가 증가하여 강도 및 탄성률이 향상된 것을 알 수 있으며, 특히 충격 강도에서 많은 향상이 된 것을 알 수 있다.

상기 표 4에서 보는 바와 같이, 실시예 2의 조성비율을 통해 성형품을 제조한 것으로, 결정화되기 이전의 실험예 3의 실험데이터 및 결정화 된 이후의 실험예 4,5의 실험데이터에 관한 것이다.실험예 3,4,5의 인장강도, 인장탄성률은 각각의 실험예에서 미세한 차이를 보이지만, 충격강도에서는 동일하게 측정된 것을 알 수 있다.또한, 도 2 내지 도 4에 도시된 바와 같이, 실험예 3,4,5는 각각의 실시예 및 실험예의 조건과 동일한 시험편을 다수 조성하여 실험한 결과, 실험예 3 내지 실험예 5의 물성이 거의 동일한 것을 알 수 있다.
따라서, 본 발명에 따른 조성물은 3D 프린팅을 통해 성형품 제조가 가능하고, 55~70℃의 저온에서 추가적 성형을 가할 경우 인장강도, 인장 탄성률 및 아이조드 충격 강도가 거의 일정하게 유지되어 안정된 칫수를 유지할 수 있으며, 깁스나 스프린트로 사용하기에 적절한 물성을 갖게 됨을 알 수 있었다.
상기 표 4를 통해 보는 바와 같이, 본 발명에 따라 제조된 성형품은 압출기를 통해 혼련 및 압출된 필라멘트를 3D 프린터를 이용하여 성형하게 되면 도 1a 내지 도 1c에 도시된 바와 같이, 성형품의 표면에 다공성구조로 이루어질 수 있다.
또한 본 발명에 따라 제조된 조성물을 이용하여 3D 프린팅된 성형품을 55 내지 70℃의 저온에서 추가적 성형을 하게 되면, 다공성 구조를 그대로 유지한 채 물성이 거의 동일하여 깁스나 스프린트로 사용할 경우 적절한 물성을 제공할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.
생분해성 수지 조성물을 압출기를 이용하여 혼련 및 압출하여 필라멘트로 제조 후, 상기 압출된 필라멘트를 3D 프린팅을 통해 제조할 경우 3차원의 다공성 구조를 가진 성형품으로 제조가 가능하며, 특히 깁스나 스프린트로 사용하기 적합하다.

- 폴리락트산(Poly Lactic Acid ; PLA) 50 내지 60 중량%; 폴리부틸렌숙시네이트(PlolyButylene Succinate ; PBS) 20 내지 30 중량%; 폴리부틸렌 아디페이트 테레프탈레이트(PolyButylene Adipate Terephthalate ; PBAT) 7 내지 9 중량%; 첨가제 0.1 내지 1 중량%; 결정화 핵제(crystallization) 0.1 내지 1 중량%; 천연제 자몽씨 파우더(Jamongci_genu Pectin Type) 0.1 내지 2 중량%; 무기 충진제 1 내지 10 중량%; 가교제 0.001 내지 10 중량%;를 포함하는 PLA 필라멘트 조성물.
- 청구항 1에 있어서.상기 PLA의 중량평균 분자량(Mw)은 50,000 내지 150,000;을 포함하는 PLA 필라멘트 조성물.
- 청구항 1에 있어서.상기 PBS의 중량평균 분자량(Mw)은 70,000 내지 250,000;을 포함하는 PLA 필라멘트 조성물.
- 청구항 1에 있어서.상기 PBAT의 중량평균 분자량(Mw)은 50,000 내지 200,000;을 포함하는 PLA 필라멘트 조성물.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 결정화 핵제는 방향족 술폰산염(aromatic sulfonate derivatives), 질화붕소(boron nitride), 나트륨 벤조산, 칼슘 벤조산, 3,4-디메틸벤질리덴솔비톨 및 1,2,3-트리데옥시-4,6:5,7-비스-O-[(4-프로필페닐)메틸렌]-노니톨, 중 어느 하나인 PLA 필라멘트 조성물.
