Description

A CAP EMBODIMENT FOR USE IN VACUUMED JARS
Technical Field
The invention relates to a cap embodiment for use in vacuumed jars.
The invention particularly relates to a cap embodiment allowing air passage through jar and resetting vacuum effect for use in vacuum jars.
Present State of the Art
Today vacuumed jars are used to preserve various foods. Vacuumed structures of said jars make their opening difficult and require use of considerable good amount of force. In order to provide opening of jar, various methods are used but most of them expose high risk. For instance, methods such as using knife or hard and sharp end objects to open, hitting to make it flexible, drilling, dipping into hot water etc. are the frequently used ones. However, such methods may cause injuries from time to time. In this respect, said technical field needs cap embodiments easy to open and eliminating injury risks.
When searching patents and literature in this matter in the literature, a utility model application numbered TR 2013/14367 is seen. Said utility model application relates to jar cap providing creation of vacuum inside jar and providing control of such vacuum. Said jar cap comprises at least a button to provide vacuum control, an extension in jagged form provided around upper part facilitating grasping, lower edge skirt outward twisted in order to prevent hand cutting and screw on said cap.
In conclusion, several problems and negativities as described above are experienced in the related art and present applications are insufficient for settlement of the problems and negativities. This case makes it necessary to make a development and novelty in the related art.
Brief Description of the Invention
The present invention relates to a cap embodiment developer for vacuum jars meeting the needs mentioned above, eliminating all disadvantages and providing some additional advantages. Main purpose of the invention is to disclose a cap embodiment easy to open for use in preferably vacuumed glass jars. Cap embodiment of the invention is unlocked easily following resetting vacuum effect by a single and small motion and thus eliminates cases such as injuries caused by caps available in the related art.
In order to achieve all of above mentioned purposes and offer solutions to problems in the related art, invention is a cap for use for vacuum jars and comprises
• at least an air duct,
• at least a vacuum protection part closing said air duct when cap remains locked in order to prevent air passing inside jar,
• at least a driving member moving said vacuum protection part to provide unlocking of cap and thus opening said air duct.
The structural and characteristics features and all advantages of the invention will be understood better with detailed descriptions and figures given below. Therefore, the assessment should be made taking into account the detailed description and the figures.

In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of the invention have been described in a manner not forming any restrictive effect and only for purpose of better understanding of the matter.
The invention relates to a cap (K) for use in vacuumed jars. Said cap (K) mainly is an embodiment allowing air passage through jar, eliminating existing vacuum effect and thus providing easy unlocking. In line with this objective, the invention discloses preferably different embodiments of said cap (K).
The cap (K) of the invention comprises at least an air duct (2), at least a vacuum protection part (3) closing said air duct (2) when cap (K) remains locked and thus preventing air passage inside the jar and at least a driving member (1) moving said vacuum protection part (3) and opening said air duct (2) to unlock the cap (K).
A preferred embodiment of said cap (K) is shown in Figure 1a and Figure 1b. According to it said cap (K) embodiment contains a ball as vacuum protection part (3). Said ball located on upper surface of cap (K) is connected to an arm to rotate the ball around its axis to right and/or left. Said arm functions as driving member (1) in the preferred embodiment. Side parts of ball located on the cap (K) have at least an opening. Also inner part of the cap (K) has at least an opening. When said cap (K) is locked, openings on the ball and openings provided in inner part of the cap (K) are not in same direction. Thus air passage from jar is prevented. Flowever, the arm functioning as driving member (1) is rotated right or left during unlocking the cap (K) and openings on the ball and openings on inner part of the cap (K) are brought into same alignment. Thus air duct (2) inside jar is obtained and vacuum effect is reset.
Another preferred embodiment of said cap (K) is shown in Figure 2a and Figure 2b. According to it, it comprises a switch structure of two-part form functioning as driving member (1) located on upper surface of said cap (K). Said switch structure has a two-part form connected in a manner to make an angle less than 180 degrees from common edges thereof. One of said parts is in horizontal position in respect to cap (K) upper surface and under this part there is at least an air duct (2). A tightening spring provided in said cap (K) structure keeps said switch tightened when the cap (K) is in locked position, and thus keeps air duct (2) closed. In this context, said tightening spring functions as vacuum protection part (3). When force is applied to switch structure, switch part in horizontal position moves upward and opens the air ducts (2) and thus air passage from the jar is allowed. This case eliminates vacuum effect and provides easy unlocking of the cap (K).
Another preferred embodiment of the cap (K) of the invention is shown in Figure 3. According to it, upper surface of said cap (K) has a bulge of upward raising form. Said bulge has a force point of button form thereunder. Said force point is driving member (1) of the preferred embodiment. Said cap (K) structure comprises at least a pressure gasket to function as vacuum protection part (3). Said pressure gasket is connected to force point and pressure gasket starts moving upon driving application onto force point and thus air ducts (2) open. As a result of air passage from opened air ducts (2), vacuum effect is reset and the cap (K) can be unlocked easily.
Figure 4a and Figure 4b show general view of flap cap (K) of the invention. According to it, it comprises a at least two flaps preferably placed side by side, as driving member (1) located on upper surface of said cap (K). When the cap (K) is locked, said flaps are in horizontal position parallel to cap (K) upper surface and contains at least an air duct thereunder. Closing top of said air duct (2) by flaps is provided by means of at least a gasket tightened by at least a tightening spring. Flowever, flaps are brought into position perpendicular to upper surface to provide unlocking of the cap and accordingly, tightening spring and gasket also move upward and thus air duct (2) opens. Upon opening of air duct (2), vacuum effect is reset and easy unlock of the cap (K) is provided.
Figure 5 shows side cross-section view of dome cap (K) of the invention. According to it, upper surface of said cap (K) has a dome of upward raising form. Said dome form has a inclined surface in a preferred application of the invention. Flowever, different any geometric form can be used under the invention. Said dome comprises at least one air duct (2) on peripheral surface inclining towards cap surface (K). A force point is created on very top point of raising of dome. Flap structures are provided under said force point and said flap structures closes air ducts (2) when the cap (K) is locked. In this context, said force point functions as driving member (1) while flap structures function as vacuum protection part (3). Upon applying force onto force point functioning as driving member (1), flap structures functioning as vacuum protection part (3) moves downward and obstacles before air ducts (2) are eliminated. The point where raising of dome form contacts the cap (K) has at least an opening created by ramp form. Said opening directs downward movement of flap structures functioning as vacuum protection part (3). Upon opening of air ducts (2), air passage from the jar occurs and vacuum effect is reset.
In a preferred application of the invention, said driving member (1) and vacuum protection part (3) are in one single uniform form.
