Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 show a telescopic shock absorber in two-tube construction according to the prior art. In this design, the telescopic shock absorber has an internal damper insert, which has a closed housing (closed cartridge), which means that the damper insert has a separate oil filling. The telescopic shock absorber also has two guide tubes, in the form of a lower tube (mostly as an inner tube) and an upper tube (mostly as an outer tube). The lower tube is filled with oil. A spring is arranged around the damper insert in the guide tubes. The spring is in the oil filling. When the telescopic shock absorber is compressed, the damper insert is moved downwards in the direction of the oil filling and dips into it. The oil in the oil filling is displaced through the gap between the damper insert and the lower tube, in which gap the spring is located.
The spring thus reduces the cross section that is available for displacing the oil. Since the pitch of the spring becomes smaller with increasing compression of the telescopic shock absorber, the cross section which is available for the displacement of the oil is additionally reduced, so that the cross section is not constant.
The object on which the invention is based is to improve the construction of a telescopic shock absorber so that the oil flow in the gap between the lower tube and the damper insert is improved.
A telescopic shock absorber according to claim 1 is proposed to achieve the object.
To achieve the object, it is proposed to provide a stop for the spring, the spring being present above the oil filling when the telescopic shock absorber is in the extended state. The shock absorber is in a vertical orientation, the stop being below the spring. To determine whether this feature is given, the shock absorber or just its lower tube can be placed vertically and it can be determined whether the level of the oil filling is below the stop for the spring.
The advantage of the present invention over the prior art is that the oil flow in the gap between the lower tube and the damper insert is improved.
Der Anschlag schafft eine Versetzung der Feder. The stop creates a displacement of the spring.
The stop preferably has a fixed distance from the bottom of the lower tube. Moving the spring (also known as the main spring) reduces its influence on dynamic damping forces.

The telescopic shock absorber according to the invention or two telescopic shock absorbers according to the invention are preferably used in a motorcycle front fork. The level of the oil filling is preferably located in the installation position on the vehicle, in particular two-wheeled vehicle, in particular motorcycle, below the stop. The installation position can be inclined to the vertical. The level of the oil filling is preferably located at an angle between the longitudinal axis of the telescopic shock absorber and the vertical of less than or equal to 37 ° below the stop.
The level of the oil filling is preferably located at an angle between the longitudinal axis of the telescopic shock absorber and the vertical of less than or equal to 27 ° below the stop.
A sleeve which is inserted into the telescopic shock absorber can serve as a stop.
One embodiment relates to a method for producing a telescopic shock absorber, with a sleeve being inserted into the lower tube in a conventional telescopic shock absorber, in which the spring is in the extended state in the oil filling, which forms a stop for a spring, which stop in the extended state is above the oil filling.
In one embodiment, a telescopic shock absorber in two-tube design is proposed, which comprises an internal damper insert and two guide tubes, which are in the form of a lower tube and an upper tube, a chamber with partial oil filling being present between the guide tubes and the housing of the internal damper insert, with A spring is arranged in this chamber around the housing of the damper insert, the telescopic shock absorber having a stop for the spring on the lower tube, on which the end of the spring facing the bottom of the lower tube is supported, the lower end of the spring being rebounded State of the telescopic shock absorber is above the level of the oil filling.
The lower tube is preferably present as an inner tube and the upper tube as an outer tube.
The upper end of the spring is preferably supported on the outer tube. If the housing of the damper insert is firmly connected to the outer tube, the upper end of the spring can also be supported on the housing of the damper insert.
The stop is preferably on the lower tube.
In one embodiment, the stop is on a sleeve which is inserted into the lower tube. In a variant it is provided that a piston rod extends from the damper insert down to the bottom of the lower tube and is connected to it, the piston rod being guided in the housing of the damper insert, the housing of the damper insert being the component that is in the oil filling penetrates and wherein the housing extends to the upper end of the interior of the upper tube and is connected to it.
In a variant it is provided that the damper insert has a tight housing, the damper insert having a separate oil filling which is sealed off from the oil filling of the lower tube.
In a variant it is provided that the lower end of the housing of the damper insert lies above the stop when the telescopic shock absorber is fully extended.
In a variant it is provided that when the telescopic shock absorber is compressed, the housing of the damper insert is immersed in the oil filling, whereby at least at the time of the initial immersion, oil passes through the space between the housing and the lower tube without reaching the spring.
A preferred method for producing a telescopic shock absorber according to the invention is that in a conventional telescopic shock absorber, in which the spring is present in the rebounded state in the oil filling, a sleeve is inserted into the lower tube, which forms a stop for a spring, which stop in the rebounded state is above the oil filling.
Eine besonders bevorzugte Variante der Erfindung wird an Hand von Zeichnungen veranschaulicht: A particularly preferred variant of the invention is illustrated by means of drawings:

Fig. 6: veranschaulicht schematisch und stark vereinfacht den Aufbau eines beispielhaften erfindungsgemäßen hydraulischen Teleskopstoßdämpfers in ausgefedertem Zustand.6: illustrates schematically and in a greatly simplified manner the structure of an exemplary hydraulic telescopic shock absorber according to the invention in the extended state.
Fig. 6 veranschaulicht dessen Aufbau schematisch. Der TeleskopstoßdämpferIn the description of the figures, the telescopic shock absorber is shown in a vertical position. 3 to 5 all show the same telescopic shock absorber 1 according to the invention in a two-tube design. 6 illustrates its structure schematically. The telescopic shock absorber
1 has an internal damper insert 2, which has a closed housing 3 (closed cartridge), which means that the damper insert 2 has a separate oil filling 12. The telescopic shock absorber 1 also has two guide tubes, in the form of a lower tube 4 (mostly as an inner tube) and an upper tube 5 (mostly as an outer tube). The lower tube 4 has an oil filling 6. A spring 7 is arranged around the damper insert 2 in the guide tubes 4, 5.
The lower tube 4 has a stop 8 for the spring 7 at a distance from its lower end and thus at a distance from the bottom of the chamber present in the lower tube 4. The stop 8 is at a fixed distance from the lower tube 4 and thus from the bottom of the chamber.
The lower tube 4 preferably has the stop 8 at its upper end region. The stop 8 can either be present in one piece on the lower tube 4, or it can be an additional element which is inserted into the lower tube 4, for example in the form of a sleeve or a ring. In the case of a ring, the lower tube 4 can have a groove into which it is inserted. The stop 8 is preferably located in the upper half of the interior of the lower tube 4, preferably in the upper third, especially in the upper quarter of the lower tube 4. The inner tube slides in the outer tube, with a sealing element between the tubes.
When the telescopic shock absorber 1 is fully extended, the stop 8 lies above the oil filling 6 (FIG. 3). As a result, when the damper insert 2 is immersed in the oil filling 6, at least initially the oil in the gap between the damper insert 2 and the lower tube 4 is displaced without hitting the stop 8 or the spring 7 (FIG. 4). The stop 8 is at a sufficient radial distance from the damper insert 2 so that air and possibly oil can pass through the resulting gap between the stop 8 and the damper insert 2.
Vom DämpfereinsatzThe lower tube 4 is preferably designed as an inner tube and the upper tube 5 is preferably designed as an outer tube, so that the lower tube 4 is located inside the upper tube 5. From the damper insert
2, a piston rod 9 preferably extends down to the bottom of the lower tube 4. The piston rod 9 is connected to the lower tube 4, in particular at its bottom. The piston rod 9 is guided in the housing 3 of the damper insert 2. The housing 3 of the damper insert 2 is the component that penetrates the oil filling 6 during compression. The housing 3 preferably extends to the upper end of the interior of the upper tube 5. The housing 3 is connected to the upper tube or its upper end face. The damper insert 2 can also be in the opposite orientation, so that its piston rod 9 is connected to the upper end of the interior of the upper tube 5 and its housing 3 is connected to the bottom of the lower tube. The damper insert 2 has a piston head 11 which is guided in the housing 3. The piston head 11 has openings (not shown) so that the oil can pass through the separate oil filling 12 so that the piston is movable in the housing 3. During compression, the piston head 11 is moved upwards and the spring 7 is compressed.
In Fig. 5 a section of the telescopic shock absorber 1 shown in Fig. 3 is shown. As can be seen in FIG. 5, the stop 8 is preferably present as the upper end of a sleeve 10, which sleeve 10 is inserted into the lower tube 4. This variant is advantageous because existing telescopic shock absorbers known from the prior art can be converted into a telescopic shock absorber 1 according to the invention by inserting this sleeve 10 and using a shorter spring 7.
The inner diameter of the stop 8 is smaller than the diameter of the area of the lower tube 4 and / or the upper tube 5 adjoining it, so that the stop forms a support surface for the spring 7 on its upper side. The other, upper side of the spring 7 can be supported on the outer tube 5 or its overhead inner end face. A sleeve can also be present between the spring 7 and the inner end face of the upper tube 5. The sleeve or the spring 7 can also be supported on a spring preload adjuster of the telescopic shock absorber 1.
The inner diameter of the stop 8 is preferably smaller than the diameter of the area of the lower tube 4 and / or the sleeve 10 adjoining it.
