Description

A WARNING SYSTEM FOR WEAVING LOOMS
TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention relates to a warning system having a first processor unit embodied to detect the stops which occur in the weaving looms where weaving processes are realized.
PRIOR ART
In textile, the efficiency of weaving looms used in production of products like fabric, towel, etc. is substantially important for enterprises. In order for the weaving looms to stay in production as much as possible and in order for the efficiency of the weaving looms to be high, the faults which occur in the looms must be solved as rapid as possible.
Rapid intervention after determination of the faults in weaving looms substantially affects machine efficiency. The warning lamps existing in weaving looms are used for showing the faults to the operator. The operator sees the warning lamp related to the stop of the loom, and he rapidly intervenes to the event. However, since the areas where production is realized in textile are essentially very noisy, it is substantially difficult to use sound warnings and since the operator is not always around the loom, he cannot see the warning lamps. This leads to retarding of the elimination of the fault and decreases the efficiency of the weaving loom.
Moreover, when faults occur in the weaving looms, even if operators detect the fault, operators may be late to intervene to the fault. Since the present solution depends on the initiative of the operator, this leads to various efficiency decreases.
As a result, because of all of the abovementioned problems, an improvement is required in the related technical field.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a warning system, for eliminating the above mentioned disadvantages and for bringing new advantages to the related technical field. An object of the present invention is to provide a system which at least partially decreases the stop durations of the weaving loom.
Another object of the present invention is to provide increase of the weaving loom efficiency.
In order to realize the abovementioned objects and the objects which are to be deducted from the detailed description below, the present invention is a warning system having a first processor unit embodied to detect the stops which occur in weaving looms where weaving processes are realized. Accordingly, the improvement of the present invention is that said first processor unit produces a stop signal when it detects a stop and is embodied to transfer said stop signal to a second processor unit associated with at least one user interface; said second processor unit is configured to produce a warning signal through the user interface when it receives said stop signal and to begin counting an intervention duration and to send a signal, indicating that stop occurs in the weaving loom, to at least one predetermined target device when said intervention duration exceeds a predetermined optimum intervention duration for a predetermined amount. Thus, the stops, which occur in the weaving loom, are more easily recognized by the operators and thus, action can be taken in a more rapid manner.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, pluralities of target devices are provided and the second processor unit is configured to send a signal, indicating that a stop occurs in a weaving loom, to each target device when the intervention duration exceeds the optimum intervention duration for a different amount of duration. Thus, when the stop is not eliminated within the desired intervention duration, information is given to the top responsible persons and the intervention duration is at least partially reduced. Since this condition is going to indirectly increase the duration of staying of the weaving loom in production, this provides increase of the production efficiency.
In another preferred embodiment of the present invention, the second processor unit is configured to stop production of a warning signal through the user interface when a signal, indicating that the stop is eliminated, is received from the first processor unit within the intervention duration. Thus, when the stop is eliminated, the audible and visual warnings are also ended, and a sound/image chaos is avoided.
In another preferred embodiment of the present invention, the second processor unit is embodied to end the counting of the intervention duration when it receives the stop elimination information and to add an instantaneous time stamp to the intervention duration and to record this in a memory unit. Thus, the operators to which the intervention durations belong are determined, and the operator efficiencies in accordance with said data are calculated.
The present invention is moreover a warning method which is compliant to the warning system mentioned above. The improvement of the present invention is that a first processor unit realizes the following steps: producing a stop signal when it detects a stop in the weaving loom, transferring said stop signal to a second processor unit associated with at least one user interface, said second processor unit realizes the following steps: producing a warning signal through the user interface when said stop signal is received and beginning counting of an intervention duration, sending a signal, indicating that a stop occurs in the weaving loom, to at least one predetermined target device when said intervention duration exceeds a predetermined optimum intervention duration for a predetermined amount.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In this detailed description, the subject matter is explained with references to examples without forming any restrictive effect only in order to make the subject more understandable.
The present invention is a warning system (10) configured to be used in elimination of the stops which occur in the weaving looms (100) used in textile sector and where weaving processes are realized.
With reference to Figure 1 where the most basic form of the invention is given, said warning system (10) comprises a first processor unit (1 10) arranged to detect that said weaving loom (100) stops. Said first processor unit (1 10) is embodied to realize data exchange with a second processor unit (210) provided in a control unit (200). Said second processor unit (210) is configured to access the data in a memory unit (220) and to realize data record. The second processor unit (210) is moreover embodied to communicate with the peripheral units by means of a communication unit (230). In an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, said memory unit (220) is configured to realize permanent and temporary data record. On the other hand, in the warning system (10), there is more than one user interface (300). The user interfaces (300) are configured to realize at least one of the audible and visible warning types. The user interfaces (300) can be provided in a fixed manner in predetermined areas or they can be provided in a mobile manner at the weaving loom (100) operators. In an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the user interface (300) is a television and these televisions are provided in areas like resting places/dining-halls, etc. for the operators. Moreover, the user interfaces (300) can be a mobile device like a pager, tablet, etc. given to the operators or they can be the own mobile devices of the operators. In an embodiment of the present invention, by means of an application loaded to the mobile devices of operators, the warning signals related to the stops of the weaving loom (100) can be received.
An exemplary operation scenario of the operation of the present invention is described below;
The stop of the weaving loom (100) may result from the breakage of weft, warp threads, a technical failure and stopping of the loom manually. The first processor unit (1 10) produces a stop signal after detecting the faults which provide stopping of the weaving loom (100) during production. The first processor unit (1 10) transfers the produced stop signal to the second processor unit (210) instantaneously. The second processor unit (210) is embodied to emit a warning signal through the user interface (300) when it receives the stop signal. Said warning signal can be given through the user interface (300) in an audible and/or visual form. The second processor unit (210) is configured to count intervention duration as it receives the stop signal. Said intervention duration describes the time as from the stop of the weaving loom (100) to the solution of the problem.
The second processor unit (210) is embodied to access optimum intervention duration information and the exceeding duration information provided in the memory unit (220). The second processor unit (210) compares the accessed optimum intervention duration and the intervention duration, where counting begins, at a predetermined period. When it is determined by the second processor unit (210) that the intervention duration exceeds the optimum intervention duration at an amount which is equal to an exceeding duration which is provided beforehand, this information of the stop in the weaving loom (100) is transferred to at least one predetermined target device (400) by means of the communication unit (230). In an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the target device (400) can be any kind of electronic device which can communicate with peripheral devices like telephone, computer, tablet, etc. and which gives audible/written/visual warning. The stop information can be transferred to the target devices (400) by means of one or some of the options like a call, message and email.
If an information indicating that the stop in the weaving loom (100) is transferred from the first processor unit (1 10) to the second processor unit (210) before the intervention duration does not exceed the optimum intervention duration, the second processor unit (210) records the intervention duration to the memory unit (220) before notifying to the target device (400).
In a perspective of the present invention, a time stamp is added to the intervention durations and recorded in the memory unit (220). Said time stamp describes the time where the intervention duration is received. The second processor unit (210) compares the operation hours of the operators, provided beforehand or received instantaneously from a server, and the time stamp of the intervention durations, and determines that the intervention durations belong to which operators. By means of the related data, the intervention durations of the operators to the stops and the related operation efficiencies are determined by the second processor unit (210). In an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the intervention durations of the operators are transferred to a predetermined server, and the operator efficiencies are calculated and sent to the predetermined target devices (400).
In one of the exemplary embodiments of the present invention, there are pluralities of target devices (400). The second processor unit (210) is configured to send a signal indicating that, a stop occurs in a weaving loom (100), to each target device (400) when the intervention duration exceeds the optimum intervention duration for a different amount of duration. In an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, when the intervention duration exceeds the predetermined duration for a first amount, the information, which is related to the condition, is sent to the target device (400). When the intervention duration exceeds the predetermined duration for a second amount, information is sent to the target device (400) of the general manager. In this embodiment, the second amount describes a longer exceeding duration than the first amount. Thus, when the intervention duration is exceeded and when the stop duration extends, the information, which is compliant to the responsibility hierarchy, is sent to the ones who are responsible for the operation of the weaving loom (100).
The protection scope of the present invention is set forth in the annexed claims and cannot be restricted to the illustrative disclosures given above, under the detailed description. It is because a person skilled in the relevant art can obviously produce similar embodiments under the light of the foregoing disclosures, without departing from the main principles of the present invention.
