Abstract

With the present invention, there is provided a tracking system which is suitable for use in a vehicle having at least one rim connected to the vehicle by means of at least one wheel stud and at least one wheel comprising at least one pneumatic tire located on the rim, wherein the tracking system enables a center to be informed in response to detecting removal of wheels from vehicles. The tracking system comprises at least one magnetic area in at least one wheel stud or at least one magnetic element located on at least one wheel stud; at least one magnetic sensor for detecting magnetic force of at least one magnetic area in the wheel stud or of at least one magnetic element located on the wheel stud; at least one pressure sensor for detecting an internal pressure of said pneumatic tire; at least one control unit which is in connection with the magnetic sensor and the pressure sensor and detects removal of at least one wheel stud from the vehicle based on the information received from the magnetic sensor, and detects a deflated tire based on the information received from the pressure sensor; and at least one communication unit which is in connection with the control unit and enables the information, which is detected by the control unit regarding removal of the wheel stud from the vehicle and/or a deflated tire, to be transmitted to at least one remote server.
