Abstract

The invention relates to a haptic device in a matrix arrangement, which is a device that allows blind people to receive diverse information from letters or texts in the Braille system in the standard alphabet, books, animations or films and videos in low resolution, facilitating digital inclusion by means of access to information on tablet screens or mobile phone devices with the functionalities processed in low resolution. All this is done using a touch interface on the skin.

Description

DISPOSITIVO HARISCO EN ARREGLO MATRICIAL HARISCO DEVICE IN MATRICIAL ARRANGEMENT
It refers to a haptic device in a matrix arrangement, which is found in the field of communication media for people with visual disabilities.
ANTECEDENTES DE LA INVENCIÓN BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Currently there are devices that try to emulate a Tablet, in general terms, one of them uses the braille system on a 14-line tablet with an Android system that allows you to convert text files to Braille, another device refers to an escalated haptic screen. with 192 taxa in an 8mm field with a 10ms update time per taxel; however, these devices are manufactured with elements that protrude and have contact with the fingers.
DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA INVENCIÓN DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
As a solution to the aforementioned problems, the present invention was developed, a matrix arrangement haptic device; the device allows receiving diverse information such as letters or texts from the Braille system or the ordinary alphabet, animations and low-resolution films, by means of the processing of these data to be transmitted through a membrane with vibratory taxa that are activated and deactivated on the skin so that the user with a timely training time interprets this information by recreating mental images.
El dispositivo háptico en arreglo matricial, comprende: The haptic device in matrix arrangement, comprises:
Una matriz con elementos vibradores en arreglo matricial; unos cables de transmisión de datos; una unidad de proceso; una cámara de video; una unidad de entrada de texto alfanumérico; un panel donde se ubican y sujetan los elementos vibradores; una faja que puede ubicarse en el vientre o espalda; y una cubierta antialérgica que se coloca sobre la piel; A matrix with vibrating elements in a matrix arrangement; data transmission cables; a process unit; A video camera; an alphanumeric text input unit; a panel where the vibrating elements are located and held; a sash that can be placed on the belly or back; and an antiallergic cover that is placed on the skin;
In addition, vibratory element arrays have two, three, or more degrees of intensity, allowing depth perception.

REALIZACIÓN PREFERENTE DE LA INVENCIÓN PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
As mentioned above, for the operation of the present invention the data is entered by means of a camera (4) that digitizes the image that is placed in front as texts or animations, which sends those data by means of cables ( 2) to the processing unit (3) that transforms that data to a low resolution equivalent so that it is sent to a panel (6) with an array of vibratory elements distributed in a matrix arrangement that are activated and deactivated according to the information sent.
The panel (6) is made up of a matrix of vibrating elements (1) made with a flexible material that makes it possible to secure said vibrating elements avoiding their displacement; in addition the matrix of vibrating elements (6) has two, three or more degrees of intensity, which allows a perception of depth.
The information entered can also be given by means of an alphanumeric text input unit (5) that sends said information to the panel (6) with an array of vibrating elements (1).
The panel (6) with a matrix of vibrating elements (1) can be located on the belly or back, where it is protected by means of bands (7, 8) at the top and bottom.
