Abstract

Provided is a bolt locking method that enables tightening work to be carried out simply and rapidly on a bolt, and a strong and secure locking effect to be obtained. A single lock bolt 1 comprises a first bolt 11 having a bolt head and a second bolt 12 having a threaded tip in a form in which the shaft of the lock bolt 1 is sectioned into two at a right angle to the shaft midway along. The second bolt 12 has an eccentric column section 123 with a smaller diameter than the diameter of the shaft of the second bolt 12, said eccentric column section 123 being eccentric in the right-angle direction to the centre axis of the second bolt 12 and protruding axially at a contact surface 122 with the first bolt 11. On the outer periphery of the eccentric column section 123, a male thread is formed on a small-diameter thread section 124. Meanwhile, on the first bolt 11, a small-diameter thread hole 114, which screws together with the small-diameter thread section 124, is eccentrically open in the right-angle direction to the centre axis of the first bolt 11 at a contact surface 112 with the second bolt 12 and has female thread formed inside.
