Invention particularly relates to a cleaning mechanism to clean yarn windings forming in wharve of ring type yarn spinning machines.
Background of the Invention
Today ring type yarn spinning machines are used in yarn spinning system. Final step in short and long staple fiber is to thin the fly from fly frame by draw and to obtain yarn of size and strength appropriate for place of use and to wind onto bobbins. This process is made at ring type yarn spinning machines. Fly from fly frame is thinned by draw at ring type yarn spinning machines, the fly bundles given the thinness adequate for yarn manufacture are twisted and gained strength. Yarn manufactured in this way are wound onto bobbins and made into cops.
Ring yarn spinning system is a continued yarn spinning and winding onto bobbins. This system has more than one yarn winding part called spindle. Spindles are located in bearing in neck and bottom of the machine.
Main yarn spinning member is spindle. Yarn passes through rotating yarn and hooks after leaving output rollers and spun and wound onto bobbins rotating on spindle. When cops are filled at ring machines, winding frame goes down and winds part of yarn onto reserve part, that is, wharve. Yarn spinning at ring machines is a continued process and thus the wound yarn should not break and the wound yarn should remain connected to a point. Since this connection point is the wharve, yarn winding occurs at wharve. For that reason, yarn windings should be cleaned safely after each frame lowering for ensuring work continuation. Blade is used for this cleaning process in current applications. Blade is touched the spindle with control of operators. Wharve gets worn during said application and work accidents are encountered since the application is dangerous. In said work accidents cutting injuries are experienced in hand and fingers of operators using blades. In addition, this operation is a process required to be conducted at least six times a day.

Detailed Description of the Invention
In this detailed description, the cleaning mechanism of the invention has been described in a manner not forming any restrictive effect and only for purpose of better understanding of the matter.
The invention is a cleaning mechanism for clearing the under windings occurring in wharve parts (1 1 1 ) where winding is conducted during continued winding of winding material onto bobbins or rollers in yarn form.
Figure 1 shows a textile machine consisting of spindles (110) primarily capable to rotate around vertical axis (y) and cleaning apparatus (200) of the invention installed onto said textile machine (100). The textile machine (100) preferably has a ring rail (120) and is fixed to a series of spindle (110) ring rail (120). Spindles (1 10) extend along horizontal axis (x) mainly along the length (L) of textile machine
(100). Said textile machine (100) is preferably a ring type yarn spinning machines. During operation of the textile machine (100), yarn to be wound onto each spindle (1 10) is thinned by draw cylinders and wound onto bobbins or rollers to perform yarn winding operation. Ring spinning tube or bobbins are inserted to spindles (110). Spindles (1 10) are driven by spindle drives and thus rotated. Thus, winding material is wound onto bobbins or rollers in yarn form. Winding material is raw material used in short staple fiber (cotton and similar) or long staple fiber (wool and similar). After completion of ring spinning tube or bobbins winding operation, spindles (1 10) is replaced with a new and empty ring spinning tube or bobbins. Winding material is wound in undesired manner in wharve parts (1 1 1 ) and under windings may occur. Said under windings should be cut and removed from textile machine (100).
A rail member (210) is installed onto textile machine (100). Said rail member (210) primarily extends along horizontal axis (x). Cleaning apparatus (200) disclosed hereunder can move on rail member (210). Said rail member (210) is preferably mounted to ring rail (120) of textile machine (100) in bottom part of spindle (1 10). The rail member (210) extends along length (L) of ring rail (120). For instance, a rail member (210) of about 22 meters long is installed to a textile machine (100) having a ring rail (120) of 22 meters long. Cleaning apparatus (200) is installed on said rail member (210) to perform cleaning operation.
With reference to figure 2, cleaning apparatus (200) of the invention comprises a blade (220). Said blade (220) is contacted to wharve parts (1 1 1 ) and under windings are cut and cleaned. Said blade (220) has a circular structure. Accordingly, said blade consists of at least a cutting edge (221 ) in circular form Thus while cleaning apparatus (200) moves on rail member (210), the blade (220) rotates in wharve parts (1 1 1 ) where it contacts spindles (1 10) and thus performs cutting operation. Circular edges (221 ) of the blade (220) are formed in a manner to cut under windings.
The blade (220) is preferably made in dough cutting knife or pizza cutting knife form. In other words, it is of a structure sensitive as a dough cutting knife (220) and not damaging the point where it is used. Thus, issue of wearing of wharve parts (1 1 1 ) is eliminated. Among preferred material of blade is steel.
Cleaning apparatus (200) comprises of a blade connection part (230) providing connection of blade (220) to cleaning apparatus (200).
Cleaning apparatus (200) comprises of a handle (240). Said handle (240) is the part eliminating direct contact of operator using cleaning apparatus (200) to blade (220) and grasped by hand. Cleaning apparatus (220) can be moved on rail member (210) by hand by use of handle (240). Operator can move the cleaning apparatus (200) from beginning to end of textile machine (100) by use of handle (240) on the rail member (210) when cleaning wharve parts (1 1 1 ). Thus because of no direct contact to blade (220), work accidents of hands and arms cutting are prevented.
Cleaning apparatus (200) also comprises a rail connection part (250). Said rail connection part (250) provides placement of cleaning apparatus (200) onto textile machine (100) along the machine (200) and movement thereof along the rail member (210). Rail connection part (250) is preferably of L-structured form. Thus, cleaning apparatus (200) sits onto rail member (210) and can move in better balanced way. Rail connection part (250) of L-structured form may also contain an extension (251 ) fixing the cleaning apparatus (200) along the rail member (210).
Cleaning apparatus (200) comprises of an adjustment part (260). Said adjustment part (260) provides adjustment of size between blade (220) and rail connection part (250) for matching cleaning apparatus (200) to various textile machines (100). Thus, cleaning apparatus (200) can be adjusted for textile machines (100) of various sizes. Adjustment part (260) and rail connection part (250) have adjustment spaces. Said adjustment spaces enable adjustment of cleaning mechanism (200) to match wharve part (1 1 1 ) according to size of textile machine (100). After alignment of adjustment spaces on adjustment part (260) and rail connection part (250), size adjustment is made by means of connection members such as bolt, nut etc. Thus, cleaning apparatus (200) can be adjusted and adaptation to various textile machines (100).
Cleaning apparatus (100) disclosed hereunder can be used in textile machines of various types and sizes, preferably in yarn spinning machines, more preferably in ring type yarn spinning machines.
