The apparatus comprises of a base plate for placing the new document or existing document on a placement maker, a printing device, a biometric scanner for recognizing biometric data of the issuer and/or the user, a camera for capturing an image of the new document or existing document and a server for storing captured data of the new document or the existing document, the user data, security features and biometric data of the user. The apparatus configured for receiving information regarding the new document and comparing the received information with stored information of the new document in the server and the originality and conclusive ownership of the new document is verified and established.

Description

AN APPARATUS AND A METHOD FOR ISSUING A NEW DOCUMENT AND VERIFYING ORIGINALITY OF THE NEW DOCUMENT OR AN EXISTING DOCUMENT AND ESTABLISHING CONCLUSIVE OWNERSHIP OF THE NEW DOCUMENT OR EXISTING DOCUMENT
FIELD OF INVENTION
[0001] The embodiment herein generally relates to the field of document originality verification and conclusive ownership establishment. More specifically, the invention provides an apparatus and a method for issuing a new document and verifying originality of the new document or an existing document and establishing conclusive ownership of the new document or the existing document.
BACKGROUND AND PRIOR ART
[0002] The document security is a perpetual requirement across platforms. The challenges are to establish ownership of the authority issuing any document, tracing of issuer identity and audit trails of document movements. The digital world though provides speed of transactions; it leaves gaps when the authentications of document are subjected to scrutiny in case of disputes. As an example, any document, product or commodities require proof of ownerships; the matter is subjected to prolonged legal procedures, and hence causes substantial losses.
[0003] The financial institutions use KYC norms (know your client), wherein multiple sets of client data are acquired and verified to be genuine. This applies to many fields of businesses, where the client is required to establish their Identity with referential information checksums. Further, an issuer issues say a certificate, Labels, ID cards, ID document etc. as part of ID establishment. There are many methods to establish Identification through security features of say a document or product in the world markets. These are achieved by way of inclusion of overt, covert and forensic levels of inks, graphical designs and marks to be read by multitude of devices, both mobile and standalone types. However, the proof of ownership is a contentious issue which needs to be established through prolonged legal procedures. There are instances where a fudged or forged document must be submitted to forensic labs for its authentication verification. So often, it is time consuming and non-conclusive due to several agencies involved, which cause delays and eventually judgment, is suspect.
[0004] Therefore, there is a need to develop an apparatus for issuing a new document and verifying originality of the new document or an existing document and establishing conclusive ownership of the new document or the existing document within less time. Further, there is a need to develop a method for issuing a new document and verifying originality of the new document or an existing document and establishing conclusive ownership of the new document or the existing document using the apparatus.

[0006] A main object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for issuing a new document and verifying originality and establishing conclusive ownership of the new document.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[00014] In view of the foregoing, an embodiment herein provides an apparatus for issuing a new document or a certificate and verifying originality of the new document or an existing document and establishing conclusive ownership of the new document or the existing document. The apparatus as claimed in claim 5, wherein originality and conclusive ownership of the existing document is verified and established using the apparatus; wherein the camera 104 further configured to retrieve data of the QR codes for verifying originality and establishing conclusive ownership of the existing document;
wherein the apparatus configured for comparing the retrieved data with the stored information in the server; and thereby the originality and conclusive ownership of the existing document is verified and established.

The apparatus as claimed in claim 6, wherein the apparatus further includes a display unit 107 configured for displaying the user data, the biometric data of the user, the captured data of the existing document, the QR code and the status of originality verification and conclusive ownership establishment of the existing document.
8. A method for issuing a new document with plurality of security features using an apparatus; wherein the method comprising: allowing an issuer to print user data on a paper using a printing device to get the new document; wherein the user data received from an user or a server;
wherein the paper is provided with plurality of security features and format data;
allowing the issuer to place the new document on a placement marker 102 of a base plate 101;
allowing the user and/or issuer to provide a biometric data through a biometric scanner 103;
capturing at least an image of the new document by a camera 104;
allowing the issuer to upload captured data of the new document, the user data, the security features and biometric data of the user to the server after capturing the image of the new document; wherein the captured data includes captured image of the new document, time of image capturing, location of image capturing and biometric data of the issuer; and allowing the issuer to issue the new document to the user.
9. The method as claimed in claim 8, wherein originality and conclusive ownership of the issued new document is verified and established using the apparatus.

The method as claimed in claim 9, wherein the method for verifying originality of the new document and establishing conclusive ownership of the new document using the apparatus; wherein the method comprising of: allowing an issuer to place the new document on the placement marker 102 of the base plate 101; allowing the user and/or issuer to provide the biometric data through the biometric scanner 103;
capturing at least an image of the new document by the camera 104;
receiving information of the biometric data of the user, the security features, the user data and the captured data of the new document by the apparatus;
comparing the received information with uploaded information of the new document in the server; and
verifying originality of the new document and establishing conclusive ownership of the new document using the apparatus.
11. The method as claimed in claim 10, wherein the method further includes displaying status of originality verification and conclusive ownership establishment of the new document on a display unit 107.
12. A method for issuing a certificate for existing documents using an apparatus; wherein the method comprising: allowing an issuer to place the existing documents on a placement marker

allowing an user and/or the issuer to provide the biometric data through a biometric scanner 103;
retrieving data of the QR codes by the camera 104 for verifying originality and establishing conclusive ownership of the existing document; and comparing the retrieved data with the uploaded information in the server by the apparatus; and thereby verifying originality of a existing document and establishing conclusive ownership of the existing document using the apparatus.
15. The method as claimed in claim 13, wherein the method further includes displaying a status of originality verification and conclusive ownership establishment of the existing document on a display unit 107.
