Abstract

The invention relates to a fabric that provides a concealment against thermal and night vision and to a garment made of this fabric.

Description

A CAMOUFLAGE FABRIC AND A GARMENT PRODUCED BY THIS FABRIC
Technical Field
The invention relates to a camouflage fabric.
In particular, the invention relates to a fabric that provides a concealment against thermal and night vision and to a garment made of this fabric.
Background of the Invention
Nowadays, various military materials (weapons, tanks, clothes, vehicles, etc.) used in the defence industry require concealment for having the ability of movement without being noticed by enemy forces during battle.
Only the camouflage of military personnel and vehicles in the field is often not enough.
The importance of night hiding in war and peace is as important as day hiding. Today, thanks to the devices that provide night vision, hiding with classic camouflage is not enough. Due to the fact that military personnel, military vehicles and materials cannot be hidden by the help of standard camouflage by means of the near infrared detection devices, the military is exposed and cannot fulfill its intended purpose.
The human eye is sensitive to wavelengths in the range of 300-750 nanometers. The images after a wavelength of 750 nanometers cannot see the human eye. In order to prevent this problem, night vision devices which can provide vision in wavelengths between 750 - 3000 nanometers were manufactured. With these devices, military personnel can be detected even at night. In the PCT application WO 2000/017599 in the literature, the invention relates to a material having a three-dimensional surface consisting of tubers which are arranged in regular or irregularly adjacent and almost conical form. In this way, the brilliance of the material, even when painted with matt camouflage paint, is made to be very dependent on the angle of view, contrary to what is seen on flat surfaces.
In the mentioned application, a three-dimensional surface was created on the fabric and camouflage was made. However, in the said application, a concealment could not be provided against the devices which detect the night vision.
For the reasons mentioned above, there has been a need for a restructuring of military personnel, vehicles and military personnel equipment to ensure that they are concealed against night vision devices.
Disclosure of the Invention
From this aspect of the art, the object of the invention is to provide a fabric and garment which eliminate existing disadvantages.
Another object of the invention is to provide a structure that protects and protects the military personnel against night vision.
Another object of the invention is to provide a structure for the military personnel to provide mobility by providing hiding in both day and night views.
Another object of the invention is to provide a lightweight structure to enable the military personnel to move more freely.
Another object of the invention to provide a robust structure to prevent tearing in difficult terrain.
Another object of the invention is to provide a structure which can be made in different colors according to the need. Another object of the invention is to provide a structure that prevents thermal personnel from being captured by thermal protection by providing thermal protection to military personnel.

Detailed Description of the Invention
In this detailed description, the novelty according to the invention is only disclosed for better understanding of the subject without forming any limiting effect.
The invention provides a camouflage fabric (A) that allows visual camouflage to provide visual concealment under field conditions characterized in that, comprises the substrate layer (1 ) made of 70-75 grams / m2 polyester material with non- flammability, waterproof, anti-bacterial and water repellency properties, a top layer (2) made of 70-75 grams / m2 of polyester material having a non-flammability, waterproof, anti-bacterial and water repellent properties, which is provided to form a wrinkled structure to provide visual camouflage by being positioned three times wider than said substrate layer (1 ), a middle layer (3) made of 60 gram / m2 aluminized fiber material, which is sewn to the substrate layer (1 ) between said substrate layer (1 ) and the top layer (2) and which provides protection against night vision and thermal cameras with reflectivity.
Figure 1 shows a side view of the camouflage fabric (A) of the invention.
Figure 2 shows a representative view of the veil portion of the camouflage fabric (A) of the invention.
Said camouflage fabric (A) consists of main part that, a substrate layer (1 ) made of 70-75 grams / m2 polyester material with non-flammability, waterproof, anti-bacterial and water repellency properties, a top layer (2) made of 70-75 grams / m2 of polyester material having a non-flammability, waterproof, anti-bacterial and water repellent properties, which is provided to form a wrinkled structure to provide visual camouflage by being positioned three times wider than said substrate layer (1 ), a middle layer (3) made of 60 gram / m2 aluminized fiber material, which is sewn to the substrate layer (1 ) between said substrate layer (1 ) and the top layer (2) and which provides protection against night vision and thermal cameras with reflectivity, a soft net layer (4) for circulating the air positioned between said substrate layer (1 ) and the middle layer (3) in the form of a three-dimensional foam of 150 grams / m2 and cutting the contact of said camouflage fabric (A) with the body, the concealment net (5) that provides protection against radar effects and thermal cameras as the outer layer of the veil positioned to cover the face at the head of the military garment formed by said camouflage fabric (A) and the nickel mesh layer (6) positioned in the interior of said concealment net (5).
The camouflage fabric (A) according to the invention is formed primarily from 4 layers. Substrate layer (1 ) from said layers is positioned as the lowest layer.
Said substrate layer (1 ) is made of 70-75 grams / m2 polyester material and contains non-flammability, waterproof, antibacterial and water repellency properties. The top layer (2), which is positioned as the most outer layer, is made of 70-75 grams / m2 polyester material and contains non-combustibility, waterproof, antibacterial and water repellency properties.
However, said top layer (2) is positioned 3 times wider than the substrate layer (1 ). Thus, in order to provide visual camouflage and adapt to its environment, said top layer (2) is formed as a wrinkled structure.
The middle layer (3) is positioned between said substrate layer (1 ) and the top layer (2). Said middle layer (3) is positioned by suturing to the substrate layer (1 ) and with its reflectivity, it provides protection against night vision and thermal cameras. Said middle layer (3) is made of 60 gram / m2 aluminized fiber material.
There is a soft net layer (4) between said substrate layer (1 ) and the middle layer (3), which is positioned at 150 grams / m2 in the form of a three-dimensional foam, to circulate the air and cut the contact of said camouflage fabric (A) with the body.
Said soft net layer (4) is located in the shoulder, elbow, waist, web and knee region in the preferred embodiment of the invention.
Said camouflage fabric (A) can be used as a camouflage of military vehicles and materials and can be used as military garment by sewing.
The veil is positioned at the head of the said military garment to cover the face. The inner facing side of said veil is made of nickel mesh layer (6).
The concealment net (5), which is positioned on the nickel mesh layer (6) as the outer side of said veil, also provides protection against radar effects and thermal cameras.
Optionally, said camouflage fabric can be produced in various colors and patterns, such as leaf green, soil color, and so on.
