Description

A HINGE WITH AN IMPROVED SAFETY
Technical Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a hinge and more particularly to a hinge structure which provides solution to sagging and falling problems.
Background of the Invention
Hi nges are jointed or flexible devices that fasten the edge of a door or a window and permit rotating. Conventional hinge has two main parts that can be called female and male constructions, which are indispensable for proper opening and closing of the door. Moreover, even if the hinge assembly is made perfectly, over time, sagging, spacing, jamming, etc., especially in heavy doors are observed.
It is necessary that the hinges are accurately set on the door and frame. If, once the door has been hung on its hinges, it is found that some adjustment is needed, this often requires removal of the door In the prior art, a wide variety of hinge structures have become known by which the use of a long pin to relate the male hinge and the female hinge to one another. As the door is pivoted to the pin and the associated housing member remains lean and makes sound over time. Due to difficulties in the removal of this pin, it requires expertise in lubricating causing cost disadvantage. Generally in the heavy doors, the fixing plate is only guided by the adjusting screws in the hinge body.
Prior art hinges have attempted to solve the problem related to difficulties in assembly unsatisfactorily with a generally plastic bearings connected with the female hinge shaft housing and the male hinge shaft housing. Such plastic bearing assemblies used for facilitating the movements become deformed quickly under load due to the low abrasion resistance. Among others, a prior art publication in the technical field of the invention may be referred to as GB 2520951, which discloses an adjustable hinge, and in particular, to a stop member of a lock plate comprising protrusions that extending from a bottom surface. Wherein the protrusions engage a surface of a support plate to thereby fix the position of the support plate having complementary protrusions on a surface. Although implemented in hinge structures, it is not provided a compact solution to sagging and falling problems. Accordingly, there is a need for a hinge structure that prevent deformation even when used in heavy doors and provide the same quality and long service life for a long time. Lastly, the adjustable hinges in the art which are presently available are more complex, expensive and generally more difficult to install than conventional non-adjustable hinges.
